The song from ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ had got the entire nation dancing to it and a party would be left incomplete without playing this song. This addictive song has got Pakistani actress Mahira Khan hooked over it. One of the actress’ fan club posted a video of Mahira, where, she’s seen talking to her fans on social media and the ‘Kaala Chashma’ song plays in the background. Unable to control her urge of dancing, Mahira puts on her black eyewear and starts moving on to Katrina’s high-spectrum track.

A month ago, pictures of Mahira Khan smoking with Ranbir Kapoor outside a London restaurant surfaced online and they went heavily viral. She was slut-shamed for smoking publicly and wearing a white short backless dress. Both Ranbir and Mahira gave their respective statements about this matter. On one side, where Mahira termed her meeting with Ranbir as “personal”, Ranbir came in defence of Mahira stating it “unfair” for the way she was being “judged” on social media. There were also rumours of the two allegedly dating each other post they appeared together on the red carpet of a Dubai-based award show. There was a video, where Mahira and Ranbir were seen fighting like any other couple, which went viral too, and only added fuel to their dating rumours.

A month after Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor’s smoking photos went viral and created furore on social media, Mahira has now finally broken her silence on the controversy. In September, Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan were spotted together in New York and the photos of the two went viral, triggering dating rumours. Soon after the photographs went viral, a lot of people started slamming Mahira for smoking and wearing a short dress.

Now, Mahira Khan has finally spoken out and given an epic response to her haters. According to reports, Mahira Khan gave her opinion on the issue at the trailer launch of her upcoming film ‘Verna’ in Pakistan.

Mahira Khan said, “Through the times of turbulence, through the joys, through the ups and downs, through the mistakes we make and all the success we get, let nobody… nobody’s opinion define who you are. And if anybody defines who you are, let it be yourself. Because including me and all the women out there, we’re all worth it!”

Mahira also spoke to TV channel SAMAA TV and said, “I am a very careful person otherwise. People ask me that I do not do this in films (probably she meant smoking), I say I do not want to. Why should I do anything to show the world?”

She further clarified that meeting Ranbir Kapoor was a personal thing. “It is my personal life and it is very normal for a boy and girl to hang out. This one incident has taught me a lot.”

Popular Pakistani actors like Ali Zafar, Humaima Malick, Mawra and Urwa Hocane lent support to Mahira Khan. Ranbir Kapoor, too, issued a statement following the furore over the pictures. He issued a statement that read, “I’ve gotten to know Mahira in a personal capacity over the last few months. She is somebody who I admire and respect, for her achievements and even more for the person she is. It is very unfair the way she is being judged and spoken about. What is also sad is the inequality in judgment just because she is a woman. I request you to stop the negativity and move on with your beautiful god gifted lives. Peace and love.”

On the work front, Mahira Khan made her Bollywood debut with ‘Raees’ earlier this year that had superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.

Why is Maanayata Dutt calling Ranbir Kapoor?

Rajkumar Hirani his making one of the most ambitious projects of his film career- the Sanjay Dutt biopic. Ranbir Kapoor has stuck out his neck for portraying Sanjay Dutt on the big screen and trying to humanise him. Ranbir has undergone several physical transformations as well. Even Sonam Kapoor shot for an extensive portion in New York for the film. She is touted to play the role of Madhuri Dixit, who had a torrid affair with Sanjay Dutt in the 90s. However, one person is clearly a bit salty about her role and portrayal. That happens to be Maanayata Dutt, third wife of Sanjay Dutt.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, we hear that Hirani has not intimated her about the screentime her character will get, or what role she will play in the film. A nervous Maanyata, we hear, has been calling all and sundry (including Ranbir Kapoor), trying to get more info on the movie. The part of Maanayata Dutt will be played by Dia Mirza and ironically she only has good things to say about her role. “I believe Maanayata is someone who has a strong sense of self. Ranbir has transformed himself into Sanjay totally but I don’t think others need to do the same. I have interacted with her over the years and I think she is the anchor in Sanjay’s life. But I have perceived Maanayata through the wonderful writing (by Abhijat and Raju) that’s been written about her.”

The Dutt biopic has a stellar star cast comprising of Manisha Koirala playing Nargis Dutt, Paresh Rawal as Sunil Dutt and Vicky Kaushal as a close aide of Sanjay. The film is set to release in 2018. Sanjay Dutt has led quite a controversial life right from being accused of holding illegal arms and ammunition in his home during 1993 Mumbai blasts to battling drug addiction and multiple marriages.

The Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan just turned 75 and when you are a legendary actor like he is, there is no gift more special than your next project coming into the limelight. And Karan Johar probably gave Big B the most special gift this year by making an announcement that took the world by storm.

A few weeks earlier, reports about Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor being roped in for a movie were doing the rounds and that news was enough to make their fans go frantic as they awaited more details about the project. Apparently, the movie was titled ‘Dragon’ which pretty much gave away the fact that it would have something to do with adventure or fantasy.

In conversation with Ranbir and Alia at an event earlier this month, Karan Johar had hinted at another big star also being a part of the project and that the film won’t be titled Dragon. Without giving more details, he only said that an official announcement would be made soon.

So fortunately enough, in order to put all rumors to rest, Karan Johar took to his Twitter account on Big B’s birthday, to reveal that Dharma Producations’ upcoming project would not only star the two youngsters but also Senior Bachchan in the lead. No wonder they regard it as “one of its most ambitious films”.

He also revealed the film’s title – ‘BRAHMÄ€STRA’and the genre of the film which is fantasy adventure. Since Bollywood does not have an upper hand when it comes to fantasy or adventure films as compared to Hollywood, it will be interesting to see how this rare Bollywood trilogy fares on the silver screen.

Later, Alia Bhatt also took to her Twitter to express her excitement. She wrote, “Can’t wait for this one! #BRAHMASTRA” and all we could think of was how mutual our feelings our about this upcoming film!

The movie will have Ayan Mukherji behind the director’s wheel. Since Ayan has previously directed blockbusters like ‘Wake Up Sid’ and ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, the expectations are riding at an all-time high.

A few days ago, reports about Ranbir Kapoor undergoing training in horse-riding and gymnastics for the film surfaced. Ayan addressed these reports in an interview and said, “There is a lot of action in ‘Dragon’, so there is a lot of training, like gymnastics kind of training, horse-riding, fighting and lot of physical stuff that Ranbir will have to do. And then there is internal work, like to get the spirit of the character right. Ranbir has to observe the flavour of the film and communicate it with the audience. We are trying to imagine things, this world, and work accordingly.” He further added, “In its core, it has romance as an element but it has got a new flavour to it. With every film, I am trying to evolve and grow.”

The only bad thing about this whole announcement is that the movie is slated for release in 2019 (15th August to be precise). Honestly, 2019 seems extremely far right now and we absolutely cannot wait for the first part of this trilogy it to hit the theatres. First day, first show? You bet!

Kangna-Ranbir Kangana Ranaut – Hrithik Roshan, two names and one hell of a controversial saga just doesn’t seem to end anytime soon. With each passing day, a shocking statement or an email is revealed which grabs headlines.

In the new set of emails, Kangana has mentioned about a secret relationship between her and Ranbir Kapoor. The emails provide a shocking hint towards a physical relationship between Kangana and Ranbir.

The e-mail mentions “Rangu” (Rangoli, Kangana’s sister) writing to Hrithik about the Queen actor being “friends with benefits” with a certain “RK”, a thinly veiled reference to Ranbir. Apparently, Rangoli was keen that Kangana and Ranbir be in a relationship. This was because Rangoli had supposedly exchanged hostile mails with Hrithik, while Ranbir was very warm to her when they met.

Let me clarify my and rk’s equation once and for all, I give you all the right to discuss the events and facts as mentioned below with rk to confirm their authenticity.”

“RK never paid any attention to me before queen, on few occasions i even got brotherly vibes from him but after he saw queen footage in phantom’s office he approached me on my bbm and started dropping funky links to videos and other random stuff,” writes Kangana.
”When I was shooting in Gwalior for revolver, he made slight straight-forward approach and in its response, i told him that i am in love with someone.”

“And i am distressed all the time( that was the time when you’d come to my b’day and tension between us was at its peak, I didn’t take your name but I thought if i tell him this, he will understand me better).

”Then again we lost touch when i was in NYC, he texted asking howz NYC? and i asked him if he’d be interested in a physical relationship with me, he got a little intimidated and asked why not a regular relationship, to that i said because i am in love with someone and i think he felt bad about it.”

“I couldn’t figure out why he (Ranbir) got so pissed as he too was seeing kat.” It’s evident that she is talking about Ranbir’s ex, Katrina Kaif. Did he cheat on her?

Apparently, Kangana’s sister Rangoli wanted her to be in a relationship with Ranbir. Don’t believe us? Here read:

If it was not already clear that “RK” was Ranbir, the mention of “Kat” eliminates any doubts. It is no secret that Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif were in a long-term relationship that came to an end in 2016.

Incidentally, a source close to Kangana told Mumbai Mirror in March 2016 that when her relationship with Hrithik had hit choppy waters, she was being wooed by a “young superstar”. This was the same report where the friend claimed that Hrithik had proposed to Kangana in Paris.

But it was perhaps Ranveer Singh who spilled the beans about Ranbir’s ‘fondness’ for Kangana on a chat show that the two actors appeared in together. When the host, Karan Johar, asked Ranveer during the rapid fire who he would want to set Ranbir up with, he did not think twice before taking Kangana’s name. He then went on to add, “Fireworks. He loves it.”

“Rangu was very keen that me and rk have a relationship because you both have exhanged hostile mails and when rk met her he gave her a lot of importance,” writes Kangana.

At the trailer launch of Parineeti Chopra’s multi-starrer film ‘Golmaal Again,’ the actress was questioned about the viral pictures that surfaced social media.

The 28-year-old said, “I haven’t seen the pictures, but I think it is a little unfair, today because of social media, it becomes too big a deal.”

For the uninitiated, rumours of Ranbir dating Pakistani actress Mahira Khan started doing the rounds in early July, when they both walked the red carpet of the Global Teacher Prize Ceremony together in Dubai.

After which followed a video that went viral, wherein apparently Ranbir and Mahira were having a lovers’ kind of argument.

However, their friends later defended it saying that it was a casual conversation.

Varun Dhawan's character in 'Sui Dhaaga' revealed

Varun Dhawan who was known for his commercial and masala films is set to star in ‘Sui Dhaaga’ a social caper based on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Make In India’ campaign. The film also stars Anushka Sharma and is slated to go on floors by January 2018. According to a report in DNA, the details of Varun Dhawan’s character are revealed. Varun’s character is unlike anything he has essayed before. Says the source, “Varun plays a labourer, a hired help in the film. His look in the film will be in-sync with his character. The film hopes to raise awareness about indigenous cottage industries here in India and also talks about the dignity of labour.”

Varun was fascinated by the manner in which director Sharat Katariya recited the story. “Sharat is so passionate about the subject, his narration impressed Varun enough to say yes to the project,” says an insider. Sharat, who has earlier directed Dum Laga Ke Haisha, is known for his rustic, earthy touch and Sui Dhaaga will be no different.

This will be the first time that Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma will be paired opposite each other.
