On Thursday night, pictures of Ranbir Kapoor and ‘Raees’ actress Mahira Khan smoking outside a restaurant in New York went viral on social media. In no time, the pictures broke the internet. The actress faced a lot of criticism for her choice of clothes and smoking, further questioning her dignity. She was wearing a white backless dress, whereas Ranbir Kapoor was seen sporting a grey t-shirt with military green pants and smoking. In one of the photos, Mahira was also spotted with a love bite on her back, while smoking with Ranbir.
At the trailer launch of Parineeti Chopra’s multi-starrer film ‘Golmaal Again,’ the actress was questioned about the viral pictures that surfaced social media.
The 28-year-old said, “I haven’t seen the pictures, but I think it is a little unfair, today because of social media, it becomes too big a deal.”
For the uninitiated, rumours of Ranbir dating Pakistani actress Mahira Khan started doing the rounds in early July, when they both walked the red carpet of the Global Teacher Prize Ceremony together in Dubai.
After which followed a video that went viral, wherein apparently Ranbir and Mahira were having a lovers’ kind of argument.
However, their friends later defended it saying that it was a casual conversation.
