HritikActor Hrithik Roshan says he is the biggest fan of his uncle and music composer Rajesh Roshan.

Hrithik, who was attending “Roshan Se Roshan Tak” — a musical journey of Roshan family, said: “Today, in this musical concert, I am the happiest person because I am the biggest fan of my chacha (uncle) in the entire world. My uncle looks very sweet and humble but he has the energy of a tiger when it comes to creating music.”

He said he helped Rajesh with the song “Tere jaisa yaar kahan” from the film “Yaarana” starring Amitabh Bachchan.

“In my childhood days, I remember, I never used to stay away from him (Rajesh Roshan). I used to sleep in my uncle’s room and bathe in his bathroom. Sometimes, he used to come to me and ask me about his own composition for final selection,” he said.

Hrithik added: “I clearly remember one incident when my uncle was recording music for ‘Yaarana’. That time also he asked me for advice to finalise the composition. So till date, I feel very proud that I have a little contribution in the making of my favourite song ‘Tere jaisa yaar kahan’ from ‘Yaarana’.”

Hrithik attended the event along with his father Rakesh Roshan, Rajesh Roshan, Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik and Sudesh Bhosle on Saturday here.

The “Bang Bang!” star feels very fortunate that he was born into a family where music is an integral part their lives.

Rajesh Roshan said that the “Roshan Se Roshan Tak” was a tribute to their father and legendary music composer Roshan, who has given songs like “Laaga chunari mein daag” and “Rahein na rahein hum”.

Hrithik’s father Rakesh added: “Our father has left so much fragrance through his music that I feel still it is around us. When he passed away I was 16 years old and Rajesh was 12 years of age.

“I would like to see our fourth generation also carry forward this legacy of Roshan saab and all this happened because of love and support from the audience and blessings of god.”

Asked about his upcoming projects, Rajesh said: “We are starting our family film (‘Krrish 4’), so it will take some time because we are now in the process of finalizing things and very soon I will start work for that film.”

ranbirFor a long time now, stories about Mahira Khan and Ranbir Kapoor dating each other have been making rounds. Their closeness grew when they were shooting together last year. Their regular public outings added fuel to the fire.

Later, when Mahira was being slammed in her home country Pakistan for smoking and wearing revealing clothes, RK stood in her defense and gave his piece of mind to the media and the people. He lending his support for Mahira then made the speculations even more stronger.

Even though none of the actors chose to speak about their relationship, their actions proved that there’s smoething brewing between the two. Their fans too were happy to see them together!

However, what Mahira recently said about love and she being in love or not, has shattered her fans’ dreams!

Recently, during a media interaction, the Pakistani actress was asked “if she is in love”, to this she replied, “No, actually.” She added, “No, I have been, I was. Now, I realise that love is peace. Love is when you are with somebody and it’s okay and you don’t have to talk. Their presence is important.”

akshay-kumar-sonamAkshay Kumar and Sonam Kapoor along with their team of “Padman” had organised an “Innovation Conclave” to honor all the innovators of India who have helped the society with their nature friendly innovations.

So, during the event, Sonam was asked about a particular invention, that was an automatic cooking machine, if she loved it or not.

To this Sonam replied that she doesn’t know to cook and even her mother didn’t know to cook. But, her father, Anil Kapoor always encouraged her mother that it’s not your job to be in the kitchen.

“My mother does not know to cook. So my father used to tell her That you are my partner you help us you don’t have to go to the kitchen and cook.”

Sonam further added, “I can’t cook but Akshay Sir can cook.”

That’s when Akshay turned to Sonam and her: “Sonam I would like to ask you. Are you getting married this year?”

Surprised by Akki’s question, Sonam was all smiles and then he continued and said that: “If your are getting married this year then I can buy you this machine and give it to you as your wedding gift or maybe give it for your husband so that he can cook for you.”

And Sonam was left speechless! But, she did put up a smile and nodded.

padmavatFor a long time now, the team of “Padmaavat” has been having a tough time batting the odds to get a smooth release for their film.

This morning, the Supreme Court’s judgement came as a big relief for the makers and the team. The SC stayed the operation of orders banning the release of the film “Padmaavat” by the Gujarat, Rajasthan and Haryana governments.

Staying the “notifications and orders” banning the release of the controversial film by the three states, a bench of Chief Justice Dipak Misra, Justice A.M. Khanwilklar and Justice D.Y. Chandrachud said that the remaining states will also not issue orders banning the screening of the film.

Referring to its earlier judgement, the court said that it was incumbent upon the state governments to ensure the maintanence of law and order.

The court order came on the plea by the producers of the film — Bhansali Productions and Viacom18 Motion Pictures — challenging the ban on the screening of the film by the Gujarat, Rajasthan nand Haryana governments.

SonamSonam Kapoor is on a promotional spree for her upcoming film “Pad Man” that has Akshay Kumar in the lead.

Though the actress has less screen time in the film, she will be playing a pivotal role and she revealed that she does not mind playing a small yet important role in a movie if the character is substantial.

During her recent interaction with IANS, Sonam shared that she is primarily interested in working with good directors because film-making is a collaborative art where working with the right team brings the best of every creative individual.

So, who are the director she wants to work with?

“There are actually few directors that I would love to work with again, like R. Balki, Rajkumar Hirani, Ram Madhvani. I loved working with them. That apart, I want to work with Shoojit Sircar, Vishal Bhardwaj and Shimit Amin among others,” she said.

When the actress was asked that despite her film choices, the tag of ‘fashionista’ never goes away from her image.

To this she replied that she will always remain unapologetic about it.

“I love wearing make-up and beautiful clothes. I think there is nothing wrong with it. If someone judges me based on that, it is his problem not mine.

“Seriously, I think when it comes to films, in last few of them, all my directors wanted me not to wear make-up because they think I have very good skin. That is why the no make-up looks. However, I do things in real life that I cannot get a chance to do on-screen. So yes, in public events, parties I flaunt good clothes,” concluded Sonam.

Apart from “Pad Man”, the actress is also gearing up for her next release “Veere Di Wedding” which will hit the silver screens on June 1, 2018.
