Salman_jacqJudwaa 2 has taken a bumper opening weekend and has gone out to become one of the most entertaining movies of this season.

Recently, the team of Judwaa 2 visited the sets of Big Boss 11 to promote their film. Varun Dhawan, Jacqueline, Taapsee Pannu along with Salman danced on their hit numbers, Oonchi hai building and Chalti Hai Kya 9 se 12.

One of the entertaining moments of the evening was Salman and Jacqueline recreating their famous step from the song “Jumme Ki Rajat Hai” from their blockbuster movie Kick.

Salman and Jacqueline recreating the signature step made the audience nostalgic of their movie. Jumme Ki Rajat hai has been an iconic dance number and remain among the favourites till today.

A few days back, Salman and Jacqueline enthralled their fans by dancing on the trademark hook-step of the song ‘Tan Tana Tan’ during Salman’s Da-Bangg Tour.

The talented actress has completely nailed it in Judwaa 2, which is her home genre. Jacqueline is seen at her hottest best in Judwaa 2.

Her lively persona that very well translates to the silver screen, has been garnering love from the audience. She is being appreciated for her perfect comic timing in the film.

As she keeps the audience entertained by delivering hilarious punch lines through the course of the film. Jacqueline has added two new songs with ‘Oonchi Hai Bldg’ and ‘Chalti hai kya 9 se 12’ to her already existing list of chartbusters with Judwaa 2.

The actress mesmerizes everyone with her impeccable dance moves in both the song.

Reports suggest the entertaining pairing of Salman and Jacqueline will be coming together for Race 3, which has created a lot of excitement as their chemistry is certainly one to watch out for.

Bollywood has been witness to several casting brawls when notable productions catch the fancy of multiple actors. But, in an interesting turn of events, Taapsee Pannu and Kriti Sanon found themselves at loggerheads over the indecisiveness of co-producers of a John Abraham production. While Pannu was the first choice for Abraham and co-producer Sunir Khetrapal, buzz that Sanon was being roped in to take her place, emerged after another production house jumped aboard.

A friend of Pannu tells mid-day, “Khetrapal is the sole owner of the film and had signed Taapsee a long time ago. Not only has the signing amount been given, Taapsee’s dates have also been locked.” Pannu has interacted with Abraham on three occasions, says the source, further pointing out that reports of Sanon being cast in the film have shocked Pannu. “She was flabbergasted. But, John and Sunil assured her that the film was hers, and a formal announcement would put rumours to rest.”

Production house KriArj Entertainment, which came aboard the film later and made a quick exit, was apparently not keen on casting Pannu. The source suggests that the co-producers began pitching the film to other female stars, including Sanon. “However, Sunil said he wouldn’t drop Taapsee since she was the first to join the cast. A formal announcement is expected within a week.” When mid-day connected with Khetrapal, he said that he “will not make a statement unless the artistes have signed the contract.”, refusing to divulge details around the lead pair.

Only a week after she was criticised for flaunting her chiselled frame in a bikini while promoting the upcoming comedy, Judwaa 2, alongside Varun Dhawan, and Jacqueline Fernandez, Taapsee Pannu finds herself defending her choices yet again. Moviegoers had objected to the actor’s decision to be part of the David Dhawan-directed project, a recreation of his 1997 film that hinged on frivolous romance, especially since she had catapulted to stardom with her empowering acts in Baby (2015), Pink (2016) and more recently, Naam Shabana.

“From ‘no means no’ to Tan Tana Tan, what happened to Taapsee,” a Twitter user had chided. Unflinching, Pannu responds to the criticism with, “I want to do every role. Pink got me noticed, and people started taking me seriously after it. But, I am also proud of this film. If I keep doing similar roles, I will get bored, and the audience will tire of watching me in the same parts. Life is too short. I want to experiment.”

At a time when viewers are becoming increasingly vigilant about the portrayal of non-consensual intimacy in cinema, a scene in Judwaa 2, which sees Dhawan’s character forcibly kissing Pannu, has irked a section of social media.

The actor, however, defends the sequence, citing that people have become “too sensitive”. “Social media users are now waiting for opportunities to pounce on filmmakers. One can understand if the objection is raised for obscenity. But sometimes, people perceive things inaccurately. The scene portrays a reflex action by a character. If it was done intentionally, it would amount to non-consensual intimacy, which is not the case with our scene.”

On Thursday night, pictures of Ranbir Kapoor and ‘Raees’ actress Mahira Khan smoking outside a restaurant in New York went viral on social media. In no time, the pictures broke the internet. The actress faced a lot of criticism for her choice of clothes and smoking, further questioning her dignity. She was wearing a white backless dress, whereas Ranbir Kapoor was seen sporting a grey t-shirt with military green pants and smoking. In one of the photos, Pakistani actress Mahira was also spotted with a love bite on her back, while smoking with Ranbir.

Many Bollywood celebrities like Varun Dhawan, Parineeti Chopra, and others have come out in support of Mahira Khan, who was slut-shamed. The latest actress to defend Mahira is Taapsee Pannu. Talking about this distasteful act, the ‘Pink’ actress told Mumbai Mirror, “Today, anyone with a cell phone is paparazzi and it’s difficult for celebs to have a normal life. On one hand we are criticised for having security and getting special access but when we try to live like normal beings in another country, pictures like these are clicked and leaked. Such people need to get a life!”

Taapsee, too, was recently called out for sporting a bikini in her upcoming picture ‘Judwaa 2’, wherein she shut the attackers with a solid response. She also spoke about this to the publication. The talented actress said, “This kind of social media shaming is like a hidden clause that you sign up for if you’re a public figure. To be honest I was expecting it from the so-called ‘flagbearers of nationality and morality’ and fortunately it happened on a good day. Usually, I don’t reply to these hate tweets because I don’t want these guys to get unnecessary attention but on that particular day, I woke up on the right side of the bed and had a funny answer to their tweet.

Salman Khan's cameo in 'Judwaa 2' revealed!

Varun Dhawan’s ‘Judwaa 2’ release is just around the corner, a teaser featuring Salman Khan’s cameo in the film has gone viral. It was rumoured ever since the shooting of the film, that Salman Khan, the star of the original ‘Judwaa’ would have a cameo in the remake. Salman Khan brought to screen the characters of Raja and Prem and carved a place for them in our hearts. 20 years after the 1997 cult film entertained us, Sajid Nadiadwala is all set to revive the iconic characters, this time with Varun Dhawan.

Varun Dhawan who stars in the remake, has posted a video about Salman’s double role. The video showcases Salman Khan interacting with Varun Dhawan for the first time and Salman Khan as Raja and Prem reinforce being the original ‘Judwaa’ and Varun Dhawan being ‘Judwaa 2’.

Packed with action, drama, comedy and romance the original 1997 Judwaa was a huge hit amongst the audience, hence, the audience has been highly excited to watch the revamped version of the film.

Varun Dhawan has been promoting ‘Judwaa 2’ full-fledged. Dhawan also feels his upcoming comedy enjoys strong recall value, owing to its 1997 original featuring Salman Khan. He had previously stayed away from the promotions. According to a source “Since Judwaa 2 has already aroused audience curiosity, he doesn’t mind going slow on the publicity.” Now that the film is a week away from release, he is promoting it as much as he can. The film also stars Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Diljit Dosanjh Will Romance Taapsee Pannu In The Film Based On Ace Hockey Player Sandeep Singh

Diljit Dosanjh might be two films old in Bollywood, but he has already proved with his acting prowess that he is here to stay for a really long time. After winning our hearts with ‘Phillauri’ and ‘Udta Punjab’, the actor is all set to don the hat of a hockey player and not just any player, but former captain of Indian hockey team, Sandeep Singh. Earlier, speculations were rife about who will play his leading lady, but now all those doubts have been put to rest as actress Taapsee Pannu will be reportedly seen romancing Dosanjh in this movie, which is being directed by Shaad Ali.

The shooting of this film will apparently start in October in Punjab. Both Diljit and Taapsee will undergo extensive training by professionals for their respective roles. Also according to a report in The Times Of India, Diljit might get training from none other than the legendary Sandeep Singh himself. Yes, the ace player is expected to help the actor gain more knowledge of the game and might show him some of his key on-field moves. In fact, Sandeep has earlier trained some actors for a Punjabi movie. The two are expected to meet soon t discuss further about this project, however, the discussions are still at a very nascent stage.

The film which is yet to be titled is not a biopic on ace hockey player Sandeep Singh, instead it will focus on his love life and apparently Taapsee Pannu too will be seen in the role of a hockey player. Diljit has already floored us all with his portrayal of a police officer, entangled in the growing abuse of drugs in ‘Udta Punjab’. Taapsee has already impressed us with her impeccable acting in ‘Baby’, ‘Naam Shabana’ and ‘Pink’ and is now all set to sizzle on the silver screen with her upcoming movie ‘Judwaa 2′ which also stars actors Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez. Sanjay Dutt is out, this time virtually on the big screen. We finally have a Sanjay Dutt release and the plot is a turbulent father-daughter life in an action-thriller drama presentation. Now, that is how we like Sanjay Dutt, in his big, wide, macho form. We know how he got back into shape when he was inside Jail; he lost some 20 kgs and now that he is back to entertain the viewers, we can’t help but observe much of his sculpted physique and of course, his honed acting skills after a gap.

Another Varun Dhawan and father directed movie. Last time we saw it was the 1990s in which, still the current heart throb, Salman Khan, was seen in a double role and entertaining the mass viewers. 3. Naam Shabana

Naam Shabana gave us a back story of ‘Baby’. This was a role many leading ladies would kill for. Her versatility is what made her the right choice for this role. This Delhi-girl didn’t use any stunt-man and performed all the stunts by herself. In this movie, she proves that she’s a ‘don’t mess with me’ person and takes her work very seriously.
