It’s summers and cousins Taimur Ali Khan and Inaaya Naumi Kemmu are having a play date by the poolside. While Inaaya is accompanied by her parents Soha Ali Khan and Kunal Kemmu, Taimur has his nanny and another help with him. The little baby was seen taking a dip with daddy Kunal in the pool and momma Soha wrapping her in a white towel is cute. However, the little munchkin preferred watching the birds on the trees and did not take a dip in the pool.

A few days ago, Taimur Ali Khan was spotted enjoying the pool with his parents Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. However, Soha has admitted that Saif gets really worried when Taimur is left alone with Inaaya because he is at an age where he wants to explore everything. Speaking at one of the media interactions, the actress-author had said, “Taimur is at an age where he wants to explore everything. He is now able to hold things, his grip is getting stronger. He is also into snatching things and throwing them away. Inaaya is too small now and so we are constantly scared to have them too close to each other. Especially Bhai (Saif) gets really worried whenever Taimur tries to get closer to where Inaaya is.”

“Taimur and Inaaya are both kids, just a few months apart from each other so it really helps to observe Taimur, follow his growth, the changes and milestones in his life and be more aware and prepared while raising Inaaya. Bhai and Kareena both help Kunal and me with handy tips from time to time, which is a blessing when you are a new, first time parent,” added the Tum Mile actress.

With the hope that Taimur and Inaaya grow fond of each other, she further said, “Bhai and I have an 8-year age difference. But Taimur and Inaaya will only have a year’s. I hope they grow fond of each other as they grow up, become best friends. Of course, Taimur is a little older so he will always be the elder brother to Inaaya, protective about her.”

Taimur Ali Khan was born to Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan on December 20, 2016, and Inaaya was welcomed by Soha and Kunal Kemmu on September 29, 2017.

Ahead of web debut, Saif Ali Khan speaks of how the medium is more satisfying than films

He was one of the first from Bollywood to jump on to the digital bandwagon when he gave his nod to the Netflix original, Sacred Games, in June 2016. A year-and-a-half and completion of the shoot later, Saif Ali Khan says the medium, by its very nature, offers much more creative satisfaction to artistes.

“It is liberating as an actor to have a platform [like Netflix] to act on. Vikram [Vikramaditya Motwane] and Anurag [Kashyap] have been wonderful directors. With no censorship, this platform offers creative freedom. That’s what makes it so exciting,” says Khan, who plays cop Sartaj Singh, in the adaptation of Vikram Chandra’s novel by the same name.

Staying true to its theme of Mumbai’s underbelly, the gritty series that also features Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte, was shot in the bylanes of the city. With a 25-year-long career in movies behind him, the actor says there is a marked difference in the way a web series is shot vis-a-vis a Bollywood project. “The art directors and other technicians had a meticulous approach, which is rare to see in films. The locations where we have shot are better and more authentic than most movies that I have worked on, so far. You relate to the character differently when you are in a live location.”

His choice of films – be it the quirky Kaalakandi or the period drama Rangoon (2016) – is proof that he likes to experiment. This time too, Khan says it was his “slightly damaged character” that drew him to the script. “My character is full of angst, which has led to his dependency on sleeping pills. He chews them like chewing gum throughout the day. This is the most dynamic role of my career. So, I had to push myself as an actor. I am energetic and upbeat by nature, but I had to play a depressed character.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan have been happily married for almost six years now. Despite, being together for over a decade now, Kareena revealed that whenever hubby Saif leaves, she cries. This answer was in response to the question of how has her relationship with evolved over the years by Pinkvilla.

Like any other normal couple, Kareena too misses her husband whenever he is not at home. She said, “I cry every time Saif Ali Khan leaves; even if it’s for a shoot.”

Kareena and Saif started dating each other during filming ‘Tashan’ and tied the knot on October 16, 2012. And ever since, the couple has been happily married. On December 20, 2016, they became proud parents to Taimur Ali Khan, who is one of the most-loved star kid on the block.

Even after years of marital bliss, they continue to give relationship and now parenting goals to their fans.

On Sunday, Kareena closed the Summer/ Resort 2018 edition of Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) as a perfect showstopper as she walked the runway for designer Anamika Khanna in a black outfit that was inspired by sari. “It’s a form of sari drape. We teamed it up with pants just to make it a little different and stronger,” Khanna told reporters elaborating more on Kareena’s outfit.

Actor Saif Ali Khan says that his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan has many adorable qualities. “There are so many adorable qualities about her (Kareena) like time management, organization, fitness, discipline and she is very patient also,” said Saif while talking about Kareena on Monday at the promotional interviews of his forthcoming film Kaalakaandi.

Saif and his ex-wife Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is making her Bollywood debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s film “Kedarnath” and the actor says that he has given many advices to the young face. “I have given her so many pieces of advice. I told her to be honest and to find what is special inside her and not to be like other people,” he said.

“She understands all of this. She always wanted to be an actor and I think she will be great. We worry about children as this profession has so much drama to it. So I had thought she will do some normal job because she is brilliant student, but I guess nobody wants that (normal job),” added Saif. Saif Ali Khan has completed 25 years in the industry and he finds his journey interesting.

“As far as my acting journey is concerned, in these 25 years, it has been interesting, full of ups and downs and learning constantly,” he said. “I think from last year, I gave more thought to acting than before. My last year’s films like Rangoon, Chef and now Kaalakandi are better performances than before. “My upcoming film ‘Bazaar’ is also very commercial film but I think its good work and it will be interesting. I am playing slightly dangerous guy in it so it will be fun,” added Saif.

Apart from Saif, Kaalakaandi also features Akshay Oberoi, Deepak Dobriyal, Amyra Dastur, Vijay Raaz, Shobhita Dhulipala and Shehnaaz Treasury. It has been directed and written by Akshat Verma, who is famous for his adult comedy movie “Delhi Belly”, and produced by Rohit Khattar and Ashi Dua. The movie is scheduled to release on Friday.

Saif Ali Khan is known for his offbeat roles in his films, the actor had given a power-packed performance in his previous acclaimed black comedy film ‘Being Cyrus’ and now his next release Kaalakaandi is again a Bollywood Black Comedy written and directed by Akshat Verma.

On the other hand, Tom Hanks is one of the biggest global stars and is known for his performances in his films, he is all set to amaze the audience with ‘The Post’. The Post has already opened to phenomenal reviews in the USA where the film was released.

Saif AliSaif Ali Khan recently shot for Saavn’s upcoming show “Take 2 with Anupama and Rajeev” and during his interaction with the hosts, he shared that he will be a better actor in English as it is his primary language.

The Nawab of Pataudi also spoke about his career choice and revealed why he got into acting.

“One of the reasons why I got into films unfortunately, I’m being honest, is because I wasn’t interested in my exams and academics and I just ran away from home and said ‘Oh movies sound great’. But I didn’t really know what I was talking about,” said Saif.

“So, this desire and this understanding of acting came a bit late for me if it had always been there. If it had been there earlier maybe I might have chosen to struggle in the US, I don’t know.”

“But I think being sensible about it, you have more opportunities and again it’s that nepotism thing again. Being mum’s son (veteran actress Sharmila Tagore) would give me a more chance here to meet people than in America. But I think in English I speak in English as a primary language, unless I’m speaking to someone who is working for me usually.

“There’s a difference there, so I think I will be a better actor in English because I’ll know when I’m lying whereas in Hindi I’ve never said to a girl ‘aapki aakhein itni khoobsoorat hai’ (your eyes are so beautiful) so I don’t know whether that sounds genuine or not, I’m not used to saying that,” he added.

December 20- a special day for the Kapoors and Pataudis, as they celebrate Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor’s little munchkin, Taimur Ali Khan’s first birthday. The star-kid is a celebrity in his own way and enjoys a massive fan following on social media and otherwise. That Chhote Nawab’s birthday would be a private and intimate affair, was informed by his maternal aunt Karisma Kapoor.

A few days ago, Saif, Kareena, Karisma, Babita and everyone left for Pataudi Palace- the ancestral Palace of Saif Ali Khan, to bring in the adorable kid’s first birthday. Aunt Karisma has been giving us the insights from the grand celebration through her Instagram. And we can’t stop gushing over the lovable picture posted by Karisma. She wrote, “Happy 1st birthday our little bundle of joy! #weloveyou#ourbabyboy #babynawab #familyovereverything #throwback#specialmoments.”

Kareena’s close friend and filmmaker Karan Johar also wished the baby boy in his unique style. He wrote, “Happy birthday Taimur!!! I hope you enjoy your times with my babies as much as i have with your mom and dad!!! (sic)”

Recently, Taimur Ali Khan was seen bonding with Karan’s twins- Yash Johar and Roohi Johar at baby Adira Chopra’s (Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra’s daughter) birthday bash.

Taimur’s maternal grand uncle-actor, Rishi Kapoor also posted a wish for the Chhote Nawab. He wrote, “Happy Birthday dear Taimur,God Bless! This is your grand uncle!”

Taimur’s momma, Kareena’s best friend, Amrita Arora Ladak posted an adorable picture of the little lad and wished him.

Also, Kareena Kapoor‘s dietician, Rujuta Diwekar has dedicated an ecological gift to Taimur. She has built a small forest in the name of Taimur Ali Khan in Sonave.

 

A little forest for Taimur A little boy can never have enough of birds, bees and butterflies and so we have put together a small forest as a birthday gift for the little big boy, Taimur, in Sonave. It’s a special forest, one that thrives on intercropping and i hope that as he grows he too will thrive in and celebrate a diverse society. A society where people live together through and due to their distinctions. The forest has about 100 trees on a 1000 sq ft plot. The trees are as young as Taimur, even younger actually, and each one of them is a local, native, climate resilient specie. It will be a forest of the super foods of the future. There are 3 jamuns, 1 jackfruit, 1 amla, 40 Bananas, 14 Moringas, 1 Kokum, 1 Papaya, 5 Seetaphal, 2 Ramphals, 2 Nimbu trees. Besides these it grows 3 different types of native pulses and many Mirchi, Ginger, Turmeric and kari patta plants. Not to mention the green leafy veggies and the genda phools that grow in between. The forest is inspired by Padma Shri Subhash Palekar’s zero budget natural farming where one tree grows symbiotically off another and thus is thrifty on one’s pocket. The forest will become a home for pollinating agents like the butterflies, bees, birds and earthworms. It will help nurture the soil, fix back the nitrogen and minerals in the soil that it grows on, preserve the water table and look elegant and beautiful while doing it all. South actor Isha Talwar has indulged in an underwater smoochfest with Saif Ali Khan in Akshat Verma’s upcoming film, Kaalakaandi. The scene was shot in a swimming pool in Thane. Saif is a certified diver, so could manage the scenes but Isha had to undergo training in diving. The actors had to stay in the water for hours along with the camera crew.

Managing to breathe in between takes from an oxygen cylinder and keeping the coordination going was a task. Saif and Isha, however, managed to nail the shot in three takes. The film, which courted censor trouble besides theatrical release issues, finally hits the marquee next month.
