For a long time now, there have been rumours about Ranbir Kapoor dating Alia Bhatt. However, the couple had neither accepted nor denied it.
But now, during an interview with DNA, RK has accepted that he is dating Alia.
When he was asked if he is dating Alia, he said, “It’s really new right now, and I don’t want to over speak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space. As an actor, as a person, Alia is what’s the right word flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I’m aspiring to for myself.”
When he was further asked, ‘What’s the best thing about being newly in love?’
He said, “It always comes with a lot of excitement. It’s a new person, it comes with new beats. Old tricks become new tricks again you know, being charming and romantic, all of that. I think I’m more balanced today. I value relationships more. I can appreciate hurt and what it does to a person much more than I could a couple years back.”

Ranbir Kapoor along with the whole cast and crew of his upcoming film ‘Sanju’ unveiled the trailer amidst fans and media in Mumbai this afternoon.
The trailer promises that the film is going to be RK’s best one so far and also another masterpiece by Rajkumar Hirani.
During the media interactions, Ranbir was asked, his dad and veteran actor Rishi Kapoor had praised his work when he had watched the trailer of “Sanju” for the first time. So Did that make him emotional?
To this Ranbir said that he was really touched and it really made him ’emotional’ as he doesn’t really say all these things after watching his films.
“Besides being my father, he is also an actor whom I really admire and respect, so when Raju sir recorded his reaction and sent it to me, that time I was shooting for another project. My father never tells me on my face that I have done a good job… Not that I am expecting that, but when you hear such words from him not only because he is my father but also he is an actor I love, it was an incredible experience for me.
“It really moved me and made me emotional because every father wants his son to do well but my father is very careful that he doesn’t give compliments for free. He always tells us kasar reh gayi hai, work harder (There is still scope for improvement, work harder)’. So this was a wonderful gift.”
Present at the launch were, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra, Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza and Vicky Kaushal.
Anushka Sharma couldn’t attend the trailer launch today as she is in US shooting for her next film ‘Zero’ starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role. The film is at the last leg and the team will soon be returning India after completing it and Anushka will then join the team of ‘Sanju’ for the promotions.
“Sanju” directed by Rajkumar Hirani is produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and is all set to hit the silver screens on June 29, 2018. The film is a biopic on Sanjay Dutt and will showcase everything he has gone through in his life.

Saawariya’ pair Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor are back and how! The duo made their Bollywood debut together in 2007 with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Saawariya’ and spread winsome charm with their chemistry. Unfortunately, the two actors had not teamed up for any film post that. However, Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘Sanju’ will once again bring Sonam and Ranbir together on screen. Here’s a glimpse of their characters from the film.

Tongues have been wagging that Rishi Kapoor’s tweet could be an affirmation that there is something going on between son Ranbir and Alia Bhatt

A lot is being said about Rishi Kapoor’s tweet about the Bhatts, which he posted last evening. Twitter deciphered from the veteran’s tweet that it is a ‘confirmation’ of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s rumoured relationship. Tongues have been wagging that it could be an affirmation that there is something going on between son Ranbir and Miss Bhatt.

The veteran actor wrote, “Have worked with most of the talented Bhatt family (and relatives). Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt, Robin Bhatt, Purnima ji, Soni Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Emraan Hashmi, Alia Bhatt. Thank you all (sic).” Rishi is shooting for Jeethu Joseph’s film with Emraan Hashmi (Alia Bhatt’s cousin), but fans are convinced that Rishi just dropped a big hint.
“So now you are confirming you are ready to see Alia Bhatt as Alia Kapoor,” a user replied to Rishi Kapoor’s tweet, while another said, “Oh, Ranbir + Alia, confirm.”
Ranbir Kapoor has admitted that he has a boy crush on Alia Bhatt at a recent event in New Delhi. RK candidly confessed that he is fond of his Brahmastra co-actor. Karan Johar, who was also present said, “Awww.”
Whether they are together or not, time will tell.

Aamir Khan, who has clocked 30 years in the film industry, finds Ranbir Kapoor a good actor and he is confident he must have done well in Sanju

Aamir Khan says he was offered to play the role of late Sunil Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju, the upcoming biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt, but he refused it only because he wanted to essay the title character. Aamir interacted with the media on Wednesday. Asked if he was offered to play the role of Sunil Dutt, he said, “He (Hirani) approached me with the script and I loved it. He wanted me to play Dutt saab’s role. It is a fantastic role and the story is largely on the father-son relationship. But Sanju’s role is unbelievable.”
“So as an actor, I told Raju that Sanjay Dutt‘s role is so wonderful that it won my heart. So in this film I can’t do any other role but Sanjay Dutt’s, which of course I cannot do because Ranbir (Kapoor) is playing it. So, do not offer me anything.” Aamir Khan, who has clocked 30 years in the film industry, finds Ranbir Kapoor a good actor and he is confident he must have done well in the film.
“I cannot wait to watch the film now,” said Aamir, who has worked closely with Hirani in films like 3 Idiots and PK. In real life, Aamir shared a strong bond with Sunil Dutt. Reminiscing some fond memories of the late actor, he said, “He always sent me telegrams in those days to wish me on Diwali, Eid, birthday… If my film did well, he sent me a congratulations note.”
What was his favourite memory of Sunil Dutt? Aamir said, “During the riots of 1993, the Hindi film industry took a delegation to the then Chief Minister to stop the riots. Around 40 people went to the CM’s office. After that, we decided that since no immediate action had been taken, we will sit under the statue of Mahatma Gandhi near Mantralaya. All 40 of us came and sat under the statue and we decided until the violence stops, we won’t move from there.”
“For the night, we decided to continue it rotationally. So on the first time, Dutt Saab, Yash Chopra, Johnny Walker, I and one of the film producers, we all sat down together at night under the Gandhi statue. We spent the whole night there… Of course, the next day people came and by the evening the CM took some action. But for me, it was a memorable night where I was listening to the stories of their journey from Dutt saab and Johnny Walker. I remember that night very clearly. He was a very strong, dignified and gentle person.”
Aamir confirmed he was producing the slain Indian music mogul Gulshan Kumar’s biopic with Bhushan Kumar.

Ranbir Kapoor has admitted that he has a boy crush on Alia Bhatt. At a recent event in New Delhi, RK candidly confessed that he was fond of his Brahmastra co-actor. Karan Johar, who was also present said, “Awww.” Earlier, Alia had said that she had the biggest crush on Ranbir for the longest time.
RK also heaped praise afterwards, on her recent release, Raazi. He found the film mind-blowing and felt it was the greatest movie ever made. Too much mush happening here.
In May, pictures of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor went viral with fans wondering if the two were an item. Well, tongues went wagging when Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor made a joint entry at Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s reception.
There has been buzz that the Brahmastra actors are seeing each other. Alia Bhatt, 25, has said that she always had a crush on Ranbir Kapoor, 35, ever since his Saawariya (2007) days. Whether they are together or not, time will tell.
Meanwhile, Alia took to Instagram to share her picture with her rumored boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor and many celebs showered all hearts and awws and smileys on their photo.

There is no smoke without a fire, but in case of Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, there is a massive firework happening right under everyone’s noses. Well, we are glad for all those understood what we are trying to say, and for those who didn’t, we are here to help!
The rumor of the two dating has been creating a buzz for a while, and things did become a little more evident when we spotted the two missing from Sonam Kapoor’s mehendi function and attending the ‘Raazi’ screening together instead.

Later, the two arrived together for Sonam and Anand Ahuja’s reception and the whole attention shifted from the newly married to the next potential couple in B-town. Yeah, we’ve got to admit the two do make a lovely pair.

But things might get complicated considering the fact that Alia and Katrina Kaif are BFF’s. For people who don’t belong from planet Earth, Ranbir is Katrina’s ex and if the rumours of Alia and him dating are true, things might not end well between the besties.

At present the duo is working together for Karan Johar’s production film ‘Brahmastra’ and they are spending a lot of time together. During ‘Raazi’ promotions, Alia openly admitted how Ranbir has always been her biggest crush and how she admires him as an actor and a person.
And now joining the equation is Ranbir, who for the first time admitted to having a crush on Alia too.
It all happened at the IIFA press conference when Ranbir was told how it was dream come true for Alia to work with her crush. He instantly smiled and said, “Well, I have a boy crush on her now.”
And this obviously managed to get an “aww” from Karan Johar, who thoroughly enjoyed this conversation.

For a while now, Alia & Ranbir have been constantly flaunting their love for each other publicly and we hope this doesn’t create a rift between the two divas. The last thing we would want is a guy being a reason for the downfall of their friendship.
Taking about Alia’s performance in Raazi, he said, “I watched the film one week before its release and it blew my mind. It’s one of the greatest films ever made in Indian cinema.”
Will they make their alleged relationship become official or not, is a discussion for another time.

Coming to Karan Johar, when he was asked about what he learned from the IFFA last year (of course, every one of us remembers the whole Nepotism drama), he simply said, “To keep my mouth shut and open it only when the teleprompter comes out and not give my vishesh tippani on anything on the stage.” Good going Mr.Johar.
IIFA is all set to take place this year in Bangkok and we are pretty excited. The 19th IFFA will have some pretty amazing performances by Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt. Even Kartik Aaryan will be seen making his stage debut in the famous awards night this year.

As she spearheads the anti-plastic drive, Dia Mirza on how Bollywood stars’ involvement can lead to increased awareness on the subject

In her role as the UN Environment Goodwill Ambassador in India, Dia Mirza has often voiced her concern over plastic pollution in the country. At the IIFA press conference in Delhi yesterday, she took her campaign — Beat Plastic Pollution — a step further as she found support from her friends in the film fraternity.

Speaking shortly after the event, Mirza said, “With India hosting the World Environment Day on June 5, we are mobilising a movement to beat plastic pollution. We want to create a mindset that outlast the celebrations. Public participation and civil awareness must continue to grow about the single-use plastic pollution.”

Dia Mirza lauded her colleagues for adding their might to the movement, which, she believes, is the need of the hour. “Having celebrities lend their voice to the movement will help us tremendously in expanding the reach of the cause.
