Disclaimer: This article contains a major spoiler from the upcoming movie ‘Thor: Ragnarok’.

The release of ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ is right around the corner, and we are already losing our minds contemplating how the story will unfold in the third installment of ‘Thor’ series. On one hand, Marvel Studios is trying their best to be impenetrable about the movie’s premiere, while others are simply making things tougher by creating loopholes in their plans by dropping massive spoilers.

Earlier, we saw our beloved ‘Hulk’, Mark Ruffalo accidently stream the first few minutes of the film, after he went live from Instagram at the premiere of the film and forgot to turn the video off. Well, this time around too a massive plot-twist was revealed, but thankfully the cast wasn’t responsible for the spoiler.

Blame it on a universal conspiracy or the over-excited junta, there are certain things that probably even Marvel Studios can’t control and spoilers lead that list. Recently, ‘Thor’ and ‘Hulk’ i.e. Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo appeared on an interview with ‘The Project’. In a bid to ask interesting questions, the TV host went ahead and blurted out one major story plot, leaving Chris Hemsworth visibly embarrassed and shocked after this gaffe. The host spoke about Cate Blanchett’s character ‘Hela’, the Goddess of death and referred to her as Thor’s SISTER. (ARE YOU KIDDING US?)

Now this is definitely a massive blow because even in the comics, she has been addressed as Loki’s daughter, which will make her Thor’s niece since Loki is his adoptive brother. Anyway, without digging too deep into their relationship, the point is that Hela might actually be Thor’s sister, if the host’s words are taken into consideration. Hemsworth was also taken aback by this sudden revelation and shot back at the host saying, “You can’t say it’s his sister, you can’t give that away.”

And not just once, the spoiler was dropped three times. So the reporter started the conversation with this bomb and we really have to applaud Hemsworth for not losing his cool completely.

First Spoiler…

“Obviously it’s a star-studded cast, our very own – the gorgeous – Cate Blanchett plays your sister, Chris.”

Second Spoiler…

“Your Sister, Chris.”

Third Spoiler and the most major one…

“And for a lot of this movie, your sister – she’s trying to kill you, your brother…”

This is when Hemsworth interrupted him, but the damage was already done, so he tried to play it cool and said jokingly that “This is not live, is it? We can rewind the tapes…”

We guess after this gaffe, Mark Ruffalo is breathing a sigh of relief as he is no longer the king of spoilers. This host now takes the award home with this epic stint that we’ll most definitely remember for the longest time. ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ is slated for an October 25 release…and only then will we know if this major spoiler is actually true.

If you are a Marvel fan, then the upcoming film ‘Black Panther’ has to be on your mind all day, every day. And, judging by the first full trailer of the movie, we can safely say that this is what dreams are made of, as Marvel is promising us with its most incredible movie till date.

The first full trailer for ‘Black Panther’ gives us a setting of a war-like situation brewing in Wakanda, where T’Challa takes over as the next leader of the nation after the death of his father in ‘Çivil War’.

Black Panther had already made his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in ‘Captain America: Civil War’, where T’Challa was coming to terms with the decision of becoming king. And now, the upcoming movie will pick up shortly after where Civil War left off.

Quite obviously, when he returns to Wakanda-the technologically advanced fictional African nation which happens to be the world’s only source of vibranium- the unbreakable material that is used to make Captain America’s shield- things don’t pan out as per plans.

We get a glimpse of the challenges and threats that T’Challa (Chadwick Boseman) faces as the new leader, specifically from Erik Killmonger (Michael B. Jordan) — a Wakandan outcast who wants to overthrow T’Challa as he doesn’t agree with his methods. He appears to have teamed up with Ulysses Klaue (Andy Serkis), an arms dealer.

The trailer doesn’t give us too much (thankfully) but we definitely notice the ferociousness with which T’Challa defends his nation and people, not only as a king, but as a superhero too.

The star-studded cast includes Oscar- and Emmy-nominated Angela Basset, Oscar winners Lupita Nyong’o and Forest Whitaker, Martin Freeman, Sterling K. Brown and ‘The Walking Dead’s’ Danai Gurira, many of whom we see for the first time in the trailer.

In other words, the trailer will manage to give you an adrenaline rush with its mind-blowing Wakandan technology, including magnetically-levitated trains and an aircraft flown by only using hands in mid-air.

What would happen if Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer? Well, just the possibility of it takes our curiosity to another level. Marvel Studios and director Taika Waititi bring in “Thor: Ragnarok”, where Thor will be running against the clock to stop Ragnarok and get back to Asgard. That sounds quite tricky, but that’s not it. Before doing any of this, he needs to face the Incredible Hulk. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Mark Ruffalo, Cate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson, Karl Urban, Idris Elba, and Anthony Hopkins, the film is set to hit the theatres on November 3, 2017.

Justice League

This comic character totally dazzled us when he appeared on the big screen for the first time in ‘Captain America: Civil War’. And as one would expect, this superhero got his own feature film within no time. Chadwick Boseman is all set to play the powerful role of the Black Panther who is from Wakanda, an African nation that has remained isolated for a very long time. It’s time for Wakanda to get introduced to the rest of the world. Get ready for some dangerous conflict as Black Panther is all set to face an old enemy on February 16, 2018.

Avengers: Infinity War

Upcoming Movies Based On Comic Books© Marvel Studios

Finally, Marvel has heard the fans and we are soon going to get the Infinity War storyline. There will be two movies made revolving around the subject. Thanos (Josh Brolin) will take the lead and will be joined by his Black Order aka the “Children of Thanos”. Obviously, the film stars nearly every single character who has appeared in the MCU before in what’s said to be a “culmination event.” Directors Joe and Anthony Russo are directing both the films. Infinity War will be releasing on May 4, 2018.

Deadpool 2

Man, we just can’t catch a break, can we? After the madness that was the Justice League trailer, the reveal of the Infinity War footage and just a ton of crazy shit, Marvel have just gone and stomped everyone’s sand castles down into the dirt and slapped us with the latest ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ trailer. And it looks good, it looks damn good. I mean, just look at the bloody poster!

Thor

Y’all know the drill. Hela, played by a scene stealing Cate Blanchett, is pissed off and lays waste to Asgard, flinging the God of Thunder all across the galaxy (pun intended) and smashing Mjolnir. Thor lands on a backwater planet where he is kidnapped and forced to fight in a gladiatorial arena. The Hulk shows up and proceeds to kick the Thunder God’s ass! And it’s freaking glorious.

The footage looks very cool with that awesome synthwave beat pulsating in the background. Marvel, my heart and soul are ready! I’m no Marvel fanboy, always been a DC stable, until Geoff Johns destroyed the company, but their trailers always manage to appeal to the nerd in me.

Thor(c) Marvel Studios

Thor(c) Marvel Studios

Oh, did I mention Loki? Yeah, he’s back. The fan favourite villain is back with that sly smirk and is ready to kick some serious ass alongside his brother.

Thor(c) Marvel Studios

And what can I say about the Hulk? Wow, If Marvel aren’t getting the rights back for Universal for a solo Hulk film, I’d just rather they do a whole bunch of Hulk team up movies. For sure! That final shot of the Hulk leaping into a fight with Surtur, the fire demon, is the bloody money shot.

Thor(c) Marvel Studios

The action is kinetic and the colours pop out of the screen. If there is one thing we know about Marvel is that they know how to get your blood flowing with a damn good fight scene. We can’t wait for November.

Since 2008, Marvel has been known for building their huge cinematic universe, introducing tons of comic-book characters to the world — ranging from rich billionaire philanthropists to talking raccoons. A superhero army hit the stage on Saturday at D23 Expo for Avengers: Infinity War.

Thor (Chris Hemsworth), The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.),  Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch), among other super-stars, took the fan convention stage along with archvillain Thanos (Josh Brolin).

Marvel Studios chief, Kevin Feige has soaring expectations for the film, which he describes as being – “by far the biggest production in the history of Marvel Studios.”

“I’ve got to admit, these guys have not been together on stage for a long time, and even I find myself geeking out,” said Feige before introducing world-first Infinity War teaser footage.

According to io9, Marvel started by playing a fast recap of where all the Infinity Stones have come from, featuring footage from previously released films. The footage unveiling was the beautiful culmination of the Disney live-action presentation, which left the crowd standing on its toes giving applause that rivaled Thor in its thunder.

After the studio logo, the Guardians of the Galaxy are seen flying around, Chris Pratt’s Star Lord telling the crew to “put on your mean faces.” Something then smashes against their ship’s window: Thor. The footage then starts to explain the unexpected coming together of the various Marvel superhero worlds: It begins aboard The Milano, the spaceship utilized by Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) and his crew in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Spider-Man has Spidey-sense and the iron spider suit.

Asgardian is suddenly tossed violently against the windshield of the Star Lord’s Milano, leading Rocket (Bradley Cooper) to comically exclaim ‘get it off!’

Holy shit, the Avengers Infinity War sizzle reel is unbelievable. The scale is unlike anything I’ve ever seen in franchise filmmaking.

— Eric Vespe (@EricVespe) July 15, 2017

Iron Man, Captain America, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange strike defensive poses, then Thanos emerges from a smoky portal – and then comes Brolin’s voice-over: “Fun really isn’t something one considers when balancing the universe. But this … does put a smile on my face,” the space-tyrant says.

Infinity War footage! Looks incredible. Thanos basically beating the shit out of everyone and ends with him pulling down a planet to throw!

— Empire Magazine (@empiremagazine) July 15, 2017

Although guests were treated to the sneak peak, fans still have a while to wait, as the first half of Infinity War hits theatres May 2018.
