It is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s mother, Vrinda Rai’s birthday today, May 23, and the beautiful lady has posted an adorable birthday wish for her on Instagram account. She shared a throwback photo of hers with mommy dearest.

Aishwarya looks like a cheerful little girl with her mother in the photo. She described her feelings through the caption and wrote, “I LOVE YOU, YOU ARE…therefore i am…HAPPY HAAAPPPYYY BIRTHDAY MY ETERNALLY PRECIOUS MOMMYYY darliiinng (sic).”

On Tuesday, the 44-year-old actress went on a dinner date with her mother and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. Aaradhya is very close to her grandmother, and these pictures are just proof, where, Aaradhya won’t let her grandmom go without hugging her.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made dazzling appearances at the Cannes Film Festival and will be seen in Fanne Khan with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. She will also be seen in the film Jasmine, and reportedly in the remake of Woh Kaun Thi (1964) with Shahid Kapoor and Raat Aur Din (1967).

Talking about it to mid-day, Aishwarya said, “After I was given a narration of Jasmine, I requested the team to rewrite a few things. So we’ll see where that goes. Woh Kaun Thi and Raat Aur Din remakes are fabulous ideas. Once I return from Cannes, I will sit down with the team and understand how they want to remake the films. Only then will I take a call.”

Amitabh Bachchan rung in the new year with his granddaughters Aaradhya Bachchan and Navya Naveli Nanda. The Bollywood megastar posted the pictures of his granddaughters celebrating New Years with him. Aaradhya is the daughter of actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, while Navya Naveli is Shweta Bachchan and Rahul Nanda’s daughter. Shweta Bachchan is a columnist and a socialite, while Rahul Nanda is an industrialist.

Amitabh is very fond of his granddaughters and has posted these adorable pictures with them.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has been suffering from pain due to an aggravated old injury and was advised bed rest, says his health is improving and he will be back in action soon. Earlier this week, the 75-year-old actor, said he was suffering from excruciating pain on the left shoulder due to an extra tear in the rotor cup. He was also seen sporting a sling and an ice pack. On Friday, he had indicated to fans that there is trouble in the “body system”. “It revolts, it uneases, it demonstrates and it succumbs,” Amitabh had posted. The veteran actor will next be seen in films like “102 Not Out” and ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’.

In accordance with Amitabh Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai’s muted birthday celebrations this year, owing to the death of the latter’s father Krishnaraj Rai, daughter Aaradhya too will mark her special day with a low-key celebration. While the little girl, who turns six today, usually enjoys elaborate themed parties, a small get-together is in store this year. The celebrations will be held on Saturday to suit the calendars of the guests.

A source says, “It will not be a grand bash this time. An intimate party at [Bachchan’s Juhu bungalow] Prateeksha is being held on Saturday. Invites were sent out last week. Given that the bash will take place in the garden, parents Abhishek and Aishwarya have added floral motifs to the cards.”

On the guest list, the source says, are star kids, including Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao’s son Azad, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh’s son Riaan, Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna’s daughter Nitara, Sanjay Dutt’s twins Shahraan and Iqra and Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty’s son Viaan Raj.

Bollywood power couple Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently celebrated their tenth marriage anniversary.

And, the picture shared by photographer Atul Kasbeskar on Instagram proves that their love has not faded.

The photographer-turned-producer shared an awwdorable photo on the photo-sharing app.

He captioned the snap, “Just a beautiful candid moment from some time ago between two lovely people. I love this image.”

In the monochrome picture, Abhishek is seen planting a kiss on Aish’s head.

Recently, the duo recently returned from New York where they were accompanied by daughter Aaradhya Bachchan for a vacation.

On the work front, Aishwarya will next be seen in ‘Fanney Khan’ opposite Anil Kapoor which is being directed by Atul Manjrekar and produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, KriArj Entertainment and T-Series.
