It’s Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s mother, Vrinda Rai’s birthday, and the doting daughter’s wish for her is as pure as any mother-daughter relationship

It is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s mother, Vrinda Rai’s birthday today, May 23, and the beautiful lady has posted an adorable birthday wish for her on Instagram account. She shared a throwback photo of hers with mommy dearest.

Aishwarya looks like a cheerful little girl with her mother in the photo. She described her feelings through the caption and wrote, “I LOVE YOU, YOU ARE…therefore i am…HAPPY HAAAPPPYYY BIRTHDAY MY ETERNALLY PRECIOUS MOMMYYY darliiinng (sic).”

On Tuesday, the 44-year-old actress went on a dinner date with her mother and daughter Aaradhya Bachchan. Aaradhya is very close to her grandmother, and these pictures are just proof, where, Aaradhya won’t let her grandmom go without hugging her.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made dazzling appearances at the Cannes Film Festival and will be seen in Fanne Khan with Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. She will also be seen in the film Jasmine, and reportedly in the remake of Woh Kaun Thi (1964) with Shahid Kapoor and Raat Aur Din (1967).

Talking about it to mid-day, Aishwarya said, “After I was given a narration of Jasmine, I requested the team to rewrite a few things. So we’ll see where that goes. Woh Kaun Thi and Raat Aur Din remakes are fabulous ideas. Once I return from Cannes, I will sit down with the team and understand how they want to remake the films. Only then will I take a call.”

Boney Kapoor broke down at the Vigyan Bhavan as actress Sridevi got honoured for her performance in the film Mom at the 65th National Film Awards

On Thursday, late actress Sridevi was honoured with a National Award at the 65th National Film Awards ceremony. The actress was acknowledged for her phenomenal performance in her last film, Mom. Husband Boney Kapoor, along with daughters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor reached the Vigyan Bhavan in Delhi to receive the award.

Boney Kapoor got emotional when Sridevi‘s name was announced at the venue. The producer, along with Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi went on the stage to receive the National Award from President Ram Nath Kovind.

On reaching Vigyan Bhavan, filmmaker Boney Kapoorsaid, “We are proud of her, she truly deserved it. She always gave her best for all her films. Sadly she is not around to accept it. But we are proud of it.”

Elder daughterJanhvi Kapoor decided to wear mother Sridevi’s saree for the special occasion. She looked radiant in the off-white and pink silk saree. Designer and close friend of the late actress, Manish Malhotra took to his Instagram account to share about Janhvi wearing her mom’s saree.

Khushi Kapoor was spotted hugging a mystery boy on the streets of Bandra and this has left the fans curious

A month after actress Sridevi’s demise, the family is trying their best to get back to their routine. While elder daughter Janhvi Kapoor resumed the shoot of her debut film, Dhadak and is posing for magazines, youngest kin, Khushi Kapoor was also spotted in all smiles at Bandra. The reason behind Khushi’s glowing face, reportedly is the mystery boy snapped with her in these pictures.

The pictures of Khushi Kapoor have left the fans curious and several apprehensions about the mystery guy being her boyfriend and other interpretations have started to float online. In fact, there were users, who advised her of being careful. “Be careful Khushi. Don’t let people take advantage of you (sic),” read one of the comments.

Some even decoded her facial expressions and wrote, “Yes she is.n she is hiding her face so noone can detect her (sic).”

This has been an extremely tough phase for Janhvi, Khushi and the family to recuperate with this pain. However, siblings Janhvi and Khushi’s courage to move ahead in life prove that they abide by the saying, ‘The show must go on…’

On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor is busy shooting in Kolkata with Ishaan Khatter for Dhadak, a remake of the Marathi film, Sairaat. The remake is being helmed by Shashank Khaitan and is produced by Karan Johar.

Saif Ali Khan’s children Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Khan from estranged wife Amrita Singh did not attend Taimur Ali Khan’s first birthday at Pataudi Palace. Here’s why they skipped the do

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s first child together, Taimur Ali Khan turned one on December 20. The occasion was brought in at Saif’s ancestral Pataudi Palace with the Khan and Kapoor family in attendance. However, what raised eyebrows were Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Khan‘s absence from the family gathering. Sara and Ibrahim are Saif’s children from his first wife Amrita Singh. Though, initially, there were reports of Amrita not in favour of Kareena and Sara’s growing proximity. Their bond proves the truth of Sara’s friendly relationship with Kareena.

Sara was occupied with her debut film, Kedarnath’s shoot and had some prior wok commitments, which couldn’t be avoided. Therefore, the budding actress had to give Taimur Ali Khan‘s first birthday a miss. A source told Pinkvilla, “Fact is, Sara was prepping with the Kedarnath crew as she has been continuously shooting for the film for over two weeks now. While Taimur’s birthday was on December 20, her schedule was for the next few days after that and her director had wanted Sara to stay back for some workshops.”

Talking about Ibrahim skipping the do, the same source told the entertainment portal, “Ibrahim is in town on his Christmas vacay as he’s been pursuing further studies in London and he too decided to stay back with his sister in Mumbai as they are very close and wanted to spend some time with her.” However, Sara and Ibrahim attended Kareena and daddy Saif’s Christmas celebration at their Bandra residence.

Even aunt Soha Ali Khan couldn’t attend the toddler’s birthday as she was busy promoting her maiden book- ‘Perils of Being Moderately Famous’.

Taimur Ali Khan’s birthday celebration was attended by Sharmila Tagore, Babita, Randhir Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor with her kids, Kiaan and Samiera, Amrita Arora with husband Shakeel Ladak and kids.
