For all you DC fans out there, Warner Bros. just rolled out the best gift to start this week on a great note – an emotional and action-packed trailer of ‘Justice League’. Yes, all the superheroes are reuniting once again for an epic showdown to save the world and the killer ensemble has already got the adrenaline rushing through our veins.

The trailer opens with a rosy shot of Lois Lane (Amy Adams) waking up to a golden morning where she sees Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) before her talking about their engagement. Pretty sweet right? NOT! Turns out it was only just a dream, as she is rudely awoken to the reality that her boo is already dead and still six feet under.

Superman’s death in ‘Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’ was definitely one of the most emotional scenes in the movie, the memories of which are still vivid in our minds.

Since the beginning, the trailer looms heavily on the fact that Superman is no more and it is not just Lois Lane, but the whole world which is mourning his loss. Meanwhile, violence, war and terrorism are multiplying manifold in his absence and we see Batman in a particularly ‘feels’ moment where he says, “I made him a promise, which is why I brought you together.”

As we go deep into the trailer, our superheroes realize that there are some darker forces ganging up against them and figure out that individually they won’t be able to contain them for long. That’s when Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and The Flash (Erza Miller) take center-stage to show the world who the real badass is by flaunting their combat skills in some kickass intense action scenes.

From Aquaman flaunting his tattooed bare body in icy waters to Diana Prince standing atop a statue overlooking the world…every scene exudes brilliance and draws you more and more into the film. Jason Momoa who earlier stunned us with his intense Khal Drogo look in the ‘Game Of Thrones’ franchise, really took us by surprise as the Trident-bearing Arthur Curry.

Overall, the vibrant action-packed colourful trailer fulfills all the fanciful wishes of every DC superhero fan and takes us on a rollercoaster ride which is fueled by humor, emotions and truckloads of intense action. The movie is slated for a November 17 release and we can now finally say that our Diwali plans are sorted.

What started as a candid mention about a ‘silly ex’ during one of her interviews has become a matter of grave importance and it will be a lie if we say that we are not interested in knowing how the upcoming events will unfold. Almost everyone is curious to know who is telling the truth, and while Kangana has been vocal about her side of the story since the beginning, it is only now that Hrithik has spoken up about the issue. He finally broke his silence on Thursday, revealing certain details that we weren’t aware about.

Ever since this controversy played out in full public view, fans have been taking sides of their respective celebrities and in all honesty most of the views were emotion-driven. Without naming the two parties, Hrithik’s ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ co-star expressed his concern over how some sections of media have “consciously or unconsciously, pushed one side of the narrative WITHOUT having or presenting any evidence to back the claims being made by the woman. They’ve accepted her story at face value.” He even raised the issue of discrimination against the other party.

He further states that “Although it is true that in most cases it is a woman that has been wronged, there is a difference between ‘most’ and ‘all’.” He also points out the various details that most of us either forgot to notice or didn’t care about while taking a stand on behalf of our favourite celebrities. He even urges people to not take sides since no one knows what the truth is. This is what he posted on facebook.

However, carrying out one act seemed too easy for our Gal, so she then went ahead and pulled off a Gigi Hadid with such perfection that we are now genuinely confused!

The parody show hilariously takes a dig at the famous life of the Kardashians and of course the ‘humungous’ house of Kendall Jenner. The house is so f**king big that Kendall often gets lost in her own home. This exaggeration coupled with Gadot’s epic comic timing, has already kicked off our excitement about this show. During her opening monologue, the original ‘Wonder Woman’ was joined by the Wonder Woman from Times Square, Leslie Jones and things escalated real quick from there on. “I’m the Times Square Wonder Woman. You know how you take photos with young girls who look up to you? I do the same with German tourists,” Jones explained. As the two began jotting down their respective powers, we realized that Times Square’s Wonder Woman is actually the need of the hour. Honestly, now everyone else can just go home because our beloved Diana Prince completely owned the show with her epic monologue and THAT KISS, which we don’t think people will forget anytime soon. While the whole world was shipping Diana Prince and Steve Trevor, Gal Gadot seems to have already set her heart on someone else, making us envious of her new found love interest.

But people don’t seem to be too upset about poor old Trevor. As a part of the sketch, McKinnon and Aidy Bryant played lesbians who arrive on the island nation where the beautiful Diana welcomes them.

But they are disappointed to know that they are the only lesbians there and Bryant even remarks that “It’s like porn but the plumber is genuinely there to save the pipes.” Now what will you do if two lesbians come to your island in search of love, but are welcomed by disappointment after seeing the Amazon warriors. Well, being a great host, chances are you will try to make them feel good and that’s exactly what Gadot did by landing a kiss on McKinnon’s lips. The earth, however, didn’t move as both ladies did not seem to be much affected by the kiss (we can’t even…..), but that moment is sure to be burned in the brain of every viewer.

Director Shankar is spreading his Midas touch on ‘2.0′ and thanks to him our curiosity and excitement is growing with each passing day. Since the start of this month, we have been witnessing the kids of Derry, Maine being haunted by a bloodthirsty clown who will stop at nothing to make them his meal. Yes, we are talking about our beloved villain, Pennywise, who has redefined fear for this entire generation (although the brave hearts think otherwise and aren’t scared of him). But, it seems that kids aren’t the only ones who are frightened by his deadly charm. Gotham City’s protector, Batman, seems to be intimidated and is suffering sleepless nights because of him. While we could not have imagined this even in our wildest dreams, a die-hard fan sure did and created a kickass trailer where Batman aka Ben Affleck gears up to wage war against Pennywise aka Bill Skarsgard in an epic showdown.

Fan theories of any show are possibly one of the best things to watch out for, even better than spin offs. But things get a little more interesting when someone takes it a notch higher and creates a fan trailer, which is so good that we start hoping for someone to make it happen for real. This ‘Batman vs IT/ Pennywise’ trailer is one such masterpiece and the entire credit goes to the YouTuber Adeel of Steel. Taking stills from ‘Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’, ‘Suicide Squad’ and ‘It’; this guy has created an insane trailer focusing on the psychological impact that Pennywise has on Batman, which originally were scenes of Affleck coping with nightmares of his parents’ death and fighting with Superman, among others. We are honestly in love with this guy’s editing skills, which makes the trailer look so flawless that we now want someone to make a movie where Pennywise plays Batman’s nemesis.

While Stephen King did a great job with the novel, Andrés Muschietti did a fabulous job in resurrecting Pennywise’s terror. So much so that the movie became the highest grossing horror movie of all time, beating ‘The Exorcist’ in the US. Well, we hope that the ‘It’ sequel gets only bigger and better than this.

Dealing with clowns isn’t anything new for Batman, but if both Pennywise and Joker mess things up for him, then even Bruce Wayne will be pushed to the limits and will lose his mind! So, who else wants Batman to go head-to-head with Pennywise? Well, we definitely want this to happen.

Terms like cringeworthy, bizarre and sleazy don’t even begin to define these iconic horror movies, which at one point were the only source of entertainment for us. Although our film-makers have come a long way from where they began, back in the day we loved to watch a white saree-clad pyaasi chudail in some shady puraani haveli, taking revenge from some lustful zamindaar who possibly murdered her.

But, we have to give the 80s or 90s movies some brownie points, because they didn’t have any of the latest technology or VFX to f**k things up, they just ruined these movies solely with their acting along with baseless and senseless scripts. We agree that some films were truly amazing and way ahead of their time, but then these movies were released and we lost our hopes in Bollywood (in making good horror movies) all over again. While others would talk about ‘The Exorcist’, we were scratching our heads deciding which DVD to burn, ‘Amawas Ki Raat’ or ‘Khoon Ki Pyaasi Daayan’.

1. Do Gaz Zameen Ke Neeche – 1972

A disloyal wife and her boyfriend kill her rich husband and bury him 6 ft under the ground. So is the key to the locker that has all the cash, which they desperately wanted. The man now returns as a zombie to avenge his death. Don’t even try to find any logic here because it was buried with that man.

2. Dak Bangla – 1987

A man moves into a mansion as a caretaker along with his wife, and suddenly finds himself being haunted by a mummy in the dungeon with a dark past. Don’t look around for a man wrapped in white toilet paper, because Indian mummies don’t follow dress codes. The guy with the red face is ‘mah man’.

3. Mahakaal – 1993

Archana Puran Singh, known for her *ahem* ‘subtle’ laughter, is the lead actress constantly under the attack of a man wearing steel claw gloves. Yes, this one is apparently based on the American horror film ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’. They tried copying the West but then the Ramsay brothers saw the Bollywood signboard and rerouted the script to fit in magical snakes, sacrifices and a bloodthirsty evil magician, Shakal.

4. Papi Gudia – 1996

Who needs Annabelle when you have a ‘Papi Gudia’ at your disposal? The gist of the movie is that a black magic practitioner transfers his soul to a doll, which then starts to walk, talk and kill people. We bet even Karishma Kapoor will not remember being a part of this film.

5. Purani Haveli – 1989

Call it budget constraints or love for underground dungeons, but Bollywood seems to be fascinated by purani havelis and the various victims it draws to the monsters locked in there. Add a tinge of a soppy love story and a spoonful of a lustful butthurt loser plotting against the main leads and there you have the recipe for a classic, f**ked up horror movie.

6. Khoon Ki Pyaasi Daayan – 1998

A tantric tells a man to sacrifice two girls to improve his sex drive and manliness. Again don’t ask us about logic, we just lost it at the baseless connection between killing women and improving one’s sex life. It’s like charging your friend’s smartphone in hopes of getting a full battery for yours.

7. Pyaasa Shaitan – 1990

Literal translation – thirsty Satan! We understand some men are thirsty, but you don’t really have to make it obvious with such crappy movies. The film tells the story of a demon who sacrifices young women to attain immortality, just like the directors wanted us to sacrifice our brains before watching this insanity!

8. Khooni Panja – 1991

We know people are possessed by ghosts, but this movie is special because here a girl gets possessed by the scary hand of a woman who was murdered by her in-laws, hence the name panja. The woman then seeks revenge against those who killed the owner of that ghost hand. *Facepalm*

9. Phir Wahi Raat – 1980

Who wants to celebrate their birthday with their friends, when you can celebrate one in a haunted house in the countryside? Well, at least Asha and her boyfriend Dr. Vijay consider it a ‘killer’ birthday plan. Quite literally, because Asha is soon haunted by a grotesque woman, who wants to kill her. Sounds fun!

10. Khooni Murdaa – 1989

What’s worse than an obsessive lover? A dead, obsessive lover who comes back to kill his murderers one by one. We hope Bappi Lahiri’s music can help us sit through this one.

Notorious Criminal Charles Bronson Wants On Screen Avatar Tom Hardy To Father His Future Kids

And when we say bizarre offers, we mean being offered to be the father of future kids of none other than Britain’s notorious criminal Charles Bronson. We don’t know if it is Tom Hardy’s powerful performance in 2009 release ‘Bronson’ or his handsome face, but apparently Charles Bronson wants Hardy to be the “surrogate daddy” and father his child. He wrote this in a letter to his friend.

According to a report in Mirror, Bronson wrote, “The powers that be seem to think I can’t have a baby with my Paula. But you know…I always come up something special. Maybe a surrogate daddy. There are certain movies which gain attention after their release, while there are some that enjoy an unparalleled attention even during the nascent stages of its making, thanks to the innumerable controversies attached to it. Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming project ‘Padmavati’ fall in the latter category, after we saw the film’s sets being vandalized and posters and banners being burnt in retaliation against the movie. However, all these controversies couldn’t deter Bhansali from moving ahead with his magnum-opus period drama and despite several delays and protests, we finally got to see the first look of goddess queen Rani Padmini.

While we were still dumbfounded over Deepika’s regal look and the beauty she is, Bhansali dropped another bomb on us, which will take really long to recuperate from. Hold your breath guys, as Maharawal Ratan Singh aka Shahid Kapoor’s look from the movie is here. Yes, the first look was released today and the ‘Udta Punjab’ actor is looking every bit fierce and dangerously handsome as the King of Chittor and Rani Padmini’s husband.

‘Padmavati’ is slated to release on December 1 and now that we have seen the first look of Deepika and Shahid, we can’t wait to see Alauddin Khilji aka Ranveer Singh’s look. This movie is said to be the first collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and Sanjay Leela Bhansali, as Deepika and Ranveer have already worked with him in ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
