Superman’s death in ‘Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’ was probably one of the most emotional scenes from the movie. In fact, the memories of his death are still vivid in our minds. And even before ‘Justice League’ was released, we knew that our beloved superheroes will battle against a newly awakened villain, in a world where Superman is dead.

While we all got very emotional at the scene where Cyborg and The Flash were digging up Superman’s body, it looks like there was more to it, which the fans were clearly unaware of until now.

Zack Snyder, who is possibly still not done with all the fame and money that ‘Justice League’ ended up with over the months (it was released on November 15), is now teasing us with deleted scenes from the movie.

If you have been following him or the movie closely all this while, you will know what we are talking about. For the rest of you, I am here to help you out. Snyder recently posted a deleted scene where The Flash and Cyborg are seen along with Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and Aquaman (Jason Momoa) with Clark Kent’s coffin. The movie just shows the first two superheroes digging the coffin out.

It wasn’t a smooth sail for ‘Justice League’ at all, given how people were busy talking about Superman’s moustache, which was removed not-so-perfectly using CGI. Let’s keep other controversies for some other time. But honestly, I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that Warner Bros. spent $25 million to remove a single moustache, which Henry Cavill was flaunting for his role in ‘Mission: Impossible Fallout’. For the back-story, click here.

Snyder shared this scene on Reddit with the caption, “This crew.” Well, this picture kind of makes sense especially because of an interview from last year, which revealed that Aquaman and Wonder Woman were present in a scene that was shot in the Kansas graveyard. In fact, in the interview, Momoa also mentioned how he was supposed to offer Wonder Woman a drink from his flask, which she declines.

After this picture, it clearly seems Zack Snyder has zero f**ks to give.

Wouldn’t it be great to see an epic clash between Wolverine and Batman, Wonder Woman and Mystique and Superman fighting it out with Magneto? We know what you guys will say – this person is a weirdo who does not know that these superheroes do not exist in the same universe.

Well, we would have thought the same, had we not come across this genius fan and this exceptionally awesome trailer he made for us to watch on a loop. What do you do when you want the best of both worlds to be pitted against each other? You, don’t wait for Hollywood to make it happen. You go ahead and make the movie (or at least the trailer of it) yourself.

This YouTuber who goes by the name, Stryder HD, created this ultimate mash-up trailer of ‘Justice League vs X-Men’ and the fact that he put 2018 as the release date, makes us hopeful that at least someone will now think on similar grounds and make this ‘dream’ come  true for all the ‘Justice League’ and ‘X-Men’ fans out there.

This man imagines Jean seeing Superman, Justice League and an impending battle in his dream, which can destroy humanity.  Logan is picked to be sent back into the past and meet up with the mutants to destroy them before then cam team up and come to full power. Magneto incites Lois to get Superman involved and causes destruction. The X-Men will need to control him and get him to destroy the league.

Later, Flash crosses paths with Quicksilver and the epic battle between two forces ensue. Can someone give him an award already to come up with such a killer plot?

Fan theories or fan-made trailers are nothing new, yet each time someone or the other creates something so brilliant that we forget that the plot is a fragment of someone’s imagination.

Although, ‘Justice League’ has been making several headlines and getting mixed reviews from all corners of the world, we still can’t get over the fact that the makers spent a whopping $25 million to get rid of Superman’s moustache using CGI. Honestly, more than the plot or the characters it was Henry Cavill’s airbrushed moustache that made us go and watch the movie again.

After looking at this trailer, we desperately want someone to make this turn into a real movie. Raise your hands if you too want to see the X-Men battle it out with the Justice League in an earth-shattering clash.

You know your movie is in trouble when people talk about an airbrushed moustache more than the plot and powers of the superheroes in the film itself. When you release a movie that has a powerful star-cast, it often gets difficult for viewers to focus on each and every actor, at least not all the time. Well, it was tough to imagine anything outshining the superheroes’ powers in the movie. If at all we had to focus on someone, it would have either been Wonder Woman Gal Gadot, or Khal Drogo from ‘Game Of Thrones’, i.e. Jason Momoa who played Aquaman.

But, for most people, it was Henry Cavill who managed to stand out from the crowd and it’s not because he is Superman; but because he has a moustache that cannot be removed. At least not for the time being!

Amidst mixed reviews, ‘Justice League’ will most definitely be remembered for only one thing – Henry Cavill’s moustache and the botched result of using CGI to remove it digitally.

How do you know that the person in front of you is filthy rich? When that person sleeps on a bed of money since his bed sheet has gone in for a wash. Yeah, we know the comparison is weird but that’s exactly what happened here. Warner Bros. spent $25 million to digitally remove the moustache using CGI and the result is this!

JUSTICE LEAGUE EXEC: We can just CGI Henry Cavill’s mustache out it will be fine and not look weird at all

Did they not know about razors? Or was it some ‘vaastu’ trick that required Cavill to not shave while filming the scenes?

So, here’s what happened. Henry Cavill was simultaneously shooting for ‘Justice League’ and ‘Mission: Impossible 6’. For one he had to be clean-shaven and for the other he had to have a moustache. Maybe, Paramount Pictures was so impressed with Cavill’s moustache, that they forbade him from shaving it. Given how the whole world looks up to Hollywood when it comes to use of wigs, fake beards, moustaches or other accessories; it’s funny that Paramount did not settle for anything else but the real one. Things would have been really easy for everyone had Paramount come to terms with Warner Bros.

So, while Cavill was busy shooting for ‘Mission: Impossible 6’, the visual effects team of ‘Justice League’ too were involved in an impossible mission – to remove Cavill’s moustache using CGI and botch his face in the process.

Twitter is tough to impress and has no favourites when it comes to meme-ing the hell out of someone. This time around too Twitter was savage in pointing out the error and let’s just say, we now have one more reason to watch the movie again.

This is really disturbing. The CGI reshoots of Henry Cavill as Superman in #JusticeLeague make him look like human Shrek. pic.twitter.com/jM9kSuVDKn

Honestly they should have just let Henry Cavill keep the mustache. I mean look at him. pic.twitter.com/DejTC16uNu

I wish Justice League was just a full length documentary about how Henry Cavill had to keep a full mustache during reshoots that they had to CGI out

The only mildly entertaining part of Justice League is the shitty CGI they used to cover up Henry Cavill’s mustache.

For all you DC fans out there, Warner Bros. just rolled out the best gift to start this week on a great note – an emotional and action-packed trailer of ‘Justice League’. Yes, all the superheroes are reuniting once again for an epic showdown to save the world and the killer ensemble has already got the adrenaline rushing through our veins.

The trailer opens with a rosy shot of Lois Lane (Amy Adams) waking up to a golden morning where she sees Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) before her talking about their engagement. Pretty sweet right? NOT! Turns out it was only just a dream, as she is rudely awoken to the reality that her boo is already dead and still six feet under.

Superman’s death in ‘Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice’ was definitely one of the most emotional scenes in the movie, the memories of which are still vivid in our minds.

Since the beginning, the trailer looms heavily on the fact that Superman is no more and it is not just Lois Lane, but the whole world which is mourning his loss. Meanwhile, violence, war and terrorism are multiplying manifold in his absence and we see Batman in a particularly ‘feels’ moment where he says, “I made him a promise, which is why I brought you together.”

As we go deep into the trailer, our superheroes realize that there are some darker forces ganging up against them and figure out that individually they won’t be able to contain them for long. That’s when Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Batman (Ben Affleck), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Aquaman (Jason Momoa) and The Flash (Erza Miller) take center-stage to show the world who the real badass is by flaunting their combat skills in some kickass intense action scenes.

From Aquaman flaunting his tattooed bare body in icy waters to Diana Prince standing atop a statue overlooking the world…every scene exudes brilliance and draws you more and more into the film. Jason Momoa who earlier stunned us with his intense Khal Drogo look in the ‘Game Of Thrones’ franchise, really took us by surprise as the Trident-bearing Arthur Curry.

Overall, the vibrant action-packed colourful trailer fulfills all the fanciful wishes of every DC superhero fan and takes us on a rollercoaster ride which is fueled by humor, emotions and truckloads of intense action. The movie is slated for a November 17 release and we can now finally say that our Diwali plans are sorted.

Hollywood has already given us some really unusual movies this year. Films like ‘Split’, ‘It’ and ‘Logan’ have already raised the bar for filmmakers. Some much awaited films from Hollywood biggies like Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott, and Clint Eastwood are on their way. Here is a list of those films which are slated for release over the next few months:

Battle of the Sexes

It seems like Emma Stone is eyeing another Oscar worthy performance, this time opposite Steve Carell. The 1973 tennis rivalry between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs is infamous and is believed to be a watershed moment in the history of tennis. Directed by Jonathan Dayton and Valerie Faris, the biopic is a brilliant effort in capturing the audience’s attention towards an issue that is less spoken about.

Blade Runner 2049

The mere sight of Ryan Gosling wearing a rusty metal jacket makes the movie worth watching. Though we have never seen Gosling in such an avatar, Ridley Scott’s direction makes this film a must watch. We can surely expect some futuristic space adventures here. ‘Blade Runner 2049′ is all set for release this October.

The Mountain Between Us

Starring Kate Winslet and Idris Elba, the movie is based on the bestselling novel by Charles Martin, of the same name. The plot depicts the survival story of Dr. Ben Bass, a surgeon (Idris) and Alex Martin, a photojournalist (Kate), when their charter plane crashes, and the two get lost in the wilderness. Directed by Hany Abu-Assad and written by Chris Weitz and J. Mills Goodloe, the film has already received good reviews at TIFF and is set to be released in theatres in October.

mother!

This Darren Aronofsky horror offering adds to the list of creepy movies that thrilled us this year. Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Javier Bardem, Michelle Pfeiffer and Ed Harris, the film presents a mysterious storyline and offers some unexpected twists and turns. Even after watching the film’s trailer, you just won’t be able to predict the level of insanity the film offers.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer

‘The Lobster’ director Yorgos Lanthimos brings us this intense psychological thriller. Starring Nicole Kidman and Colin Farrell, this is the story of a boy Martin (Barry Keoghan), who develops a strange relationship with his cardiologist. But unlike any other film, the results are disastrous. Alicia Silverstone also plays a small but interesting role in the film.

Thor: Ragnarok

Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Cate Blanchett, Tessa Thompson, Jeff Goldblum, and Mark Ruffalo take us to a different world with the action and fantasy studded flick ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ directed by Taika Waititi. With special effects to die for and the unusual virtual world, trademarks of Marvel Studios, the movie may just end up being a treat for ‘Thor’ fans.

Murder on the Orient Express

This Agatha Christie mystery is expected to have an absolutely engaging story, especially with Kenneth Branagh directing the film. Featuring Judi Dench, Michelle Pfeiffer, Olivia Colman, Penelope Cruz, Willem Dafoe and Johnny Depp (special appearance), this investigative version of the book, will surely keep the audience gripped.

Wonder

A film starring Julia Roberts is never to be missed and here comes another film with an altogether untouched theme, where Julia and Owen Wilson play parents to a child with facial abnormalities. Jacob Tremblay plays the child. This is supposed to be the most emotional movie of the year.

Justice League

Gal Gadot will return as Wonder Woman in Justice League. Her union with Batman (Ben Affleck), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) will hopefully bring the year to an end on a high.

The Greatest Showman

There is already a lot of hype surrounding Hugh Jackman’s ‘The Greatest Showman’. Starring Zac Efron, Zendaya and Jackman, this musical is set for a December release. We can’t wait ti see Logan in a different avatar.

Comic Con is in full swing and new trailers have been hitting the net faster than the Flash. First, we got news of some incredible ‘Infinity War’ footage from Marvel Studios as they revealed the Black Hand of Thanos. Not to be outdone, DC Comics had their own warhead up their sleeve in the form of the brand spanking new ‘Justice League’ trailer.

JL(c) Warner Brothers

Look, we all have to admit that ‘Batman v. Superman’ kinda sucked. It was disjointed and the end battle was a huge CGI fight against a cave troll from the ‘Lord of the Rings’ series that just wandered off the set of the latest Tolkien film. Naturally, fans were disappointed and were jumping off the DC bandwagon. Then came the travesty that was ‘Suicide Squad’ and it seemed like the end was near. But, DC had a small miracle in ‘Wonder Woman’ and it wasn’t a monumental shift or anything but it did help steady the ship.

JL(c) Warner Brothers

So, in light of all that we’ve now got 4 minutes of insane footage from the new ‘Justice League’ film and boy does it look crazy. Ok, we can’t say what the story and pacing of the film are but looking at the footage, we can sure as hell say that it looks like a lot of fun.

We get a look at Steppenwolf, the newest villain to be introduced to the DC Universe. He looks menacing enough and sets up the arrival of Darkseid perfectly.

Also thrown in are a few cool moments with Cyborg taking control of the Batmobile and going apeshit and Aquaman using a poor Paradaemon as a landing platform.
