Bollywood diva Sonam Kapoor is getting hitched and it is going to be a grand affair. Despite being an intimate event, her marriage is going to be as Bollywood as it can get. It is going to be a two-day ceremony taking place on May 7 and May 8.

The Kapoor house is all decked up and the Punjabi madness has just begun. On one side you have Anil Kapoor, all set to rock the floor with his surprise performance, on another hand you have Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Varun Dhawan and Jahnvi Kapoor prepping for her sangeet.

The couple has been dating each other for a while now. From posting adorable selfies to videos, they have been making the whole nation gush over their quiet love story.

1.       Hailing from one of the most influential families, Anand Ahuja is the son of Harish Ahuja, a Delhi-based businessman, owner of Shahi Exports. 

2.       Anand Ahuja is now the Managing Director of Shahi Exports, which is now India’s largest export house.

3.       He has two siblings Amit and Anant Ahuja.

4.       He completed his schooling from the American Embassy School in Delhi and later got his graduate degree in Economics and International Affairs from the University of Pennsylvania. He also did his MBA from the renowned Business school Wharton.

5.       Anand’s work life is pretty interesting. He has interned with Deutsche Bank. And later to understand more about retail sector he worked in his uncle’s store, Macy’s Inc. to learn more about the retail business.

6.       He has also worked with Last Sportswear and was a Product Manager for Amazon.com in the USA.

7.       His family is considered as one of the most illustrious Delhi based business family.

8.       Anand is obsessed with sneakers and hence co-founded Veg Non-Veg, India’s first multi-brand sneaker boutique.

9.       He also owns an apparel brand named Bhane.

I was telling @virgilabloh about @purevnv and how I used the creative session to create a rough draft of what a collaboration w/ the @nike Air Force 1 could look like. It’s not the greatest but it’s a start… a first draft if you may. The best part to me was writing “Dream” and “Future” on the insoles -to indicate our aspiration to co-create India’s first country-specific release. He said that he too used to dream of doing a collaboration w Nike and he got it. He proceeded to sign the shoe “VNV” and asked me to keep it on display at the store. 10.   Wonder how this love story started? They met through a fashion designer Prernia Qureshi, who is Sonam’s personal stylist.

For all those who follow Amitabh Bachchan and love his sense of humour, we have a new development to report that might interest you a lot.

Let’s start with February, when the megastar, lost thousands of fans. That obviously disappointed him a lot. From that day till today, nothing much has changed, and it seems like Mr.Bachchan can’t get over that loss (we feel you, sir).

Time and again he has used the platform to express his views. Time and again he has been trolled. But the tables have turned and Shahenshah of Bollywood has savagely trolled Twitter, giving us an evil pleasure of sorts.

We always knew he was epic with his one-liners, but this tweet has set the bars even higher.  

Taking to his Twitter, he wrote, ” T 2795 – Arre yaar Twitter ji .. yaar ab toh hamare numbers badha do .. kab se itna kuch dal rahe hain .. kuch aur karna ho, number badhane ke liye to bolo… TJKBM !!!”

While we totally understand the tweet and its intention, people can’t understand what ‘TJKBM’ means. And the users on Twitter have come up with their own explanation which ranges from “Twitter Ji Ki Badi Mahima” to “Twitter Jaldi Karodpati Bana Mujhe”.

However, this isn’t the first time B Big has directly asked ‘Twitter ji’ to increase his tweet.

Just two days ago, he tweeted, “T 2793 – Dear Twitter Management, its quite amazing how you manage to keep numbers of followers CONSTANT, & not moving AT ALL despite maximum activity !!.. well done !! I mean how do you keep the score board from not moving despite every ball being hit for a 6 !!”

Well, it looks like Twitter has highly disappointed the superstar and he ain’t ready to let go of his ire just yet.

For people who wonder, how all this started. It happened in February this year, when the New York Times came with a report claiming that a lot of people ‘buy’ Twitter followers and there are many bots following celebrity accounts. In response to this, Twitter went on a cleaning hunt, reducing numbers of followers for many celebs, including Bachchan. He lost around 60,000 followers and this didn’t go well with him.

Then he tweeted, “T 2599 – TWITTER ..!!!?? you reduced my number of followers .. !!??HAHAHAHAHAHAHA .. !! thats a joke .. time to get off from you .. thank you for the ride .. there are many other fish in the sea – and a lot more exciting !!”

If you have seen clearly, every tweet he puts out has a picture featuring him and it’s amazing to see how most of the picture co-ordinates with the message he writes.

In fact, this is AB’s usually thing as he often goes on a roll tweeting out. A while ago his new victim was Anushka Sharma, who was pulled up for not replying to his message.

All in all, it’s fun to follow Senior Bachchan, because he just never disappoints you.

Growing up would have never been the same if it wasn’t for Rabindranath Tagore’s ‘Kabuliwala’. This beautiful heartbreaking story was a treat that we enjoyed reading as children. 90’s kids will understand what we are talking about.

Giving the classic old tale a new twist is Deb Medhekar’s ‘Bioscopewala’, an adaptation of Tagore’s famous short story. One look at it and prepare yourself for the waterworks. Better to keep a tissues box nearby. Starring Danny Denzongpa as ‘Bioscopewala’, Geetanjali Thapa, Tisca Chopra, Adil Hussain, and Sunil Doshi, the movie will hit the screens on May 25.

For people who don’t know, Kabuliwala (1892) is a story that touches your heart and soul. In Tagore’s story, he was a dry fruit seller from Afghanistan who becomes friends with a young girl, Mini. Their friendship grows and he exchanges various stories with her. All of a sudden he disappears, only to appear once again after a long time. He meets his little friend, only to release things have changed and she is not that young anymore.

Just like any other Tagore’s stories, this is simple and that’s what makes it heart wrenching. It presents a commentary on the human relationship that we often fail to see.

In Danny Denzongpa’s latest adaptation, instead of a dry fruits seller, we see a bioscopewala. The sepia-toned of the frame gives it a soothing feel and intrigues you instantly to get invested in Deb Medhekar’s world.

And of course, Danny Denzongpa magnificent makeover puts everything in place. This little video clip makes us nostalgic, taking us down the memory lane.
