The trailer of ‘Mowgli’ has just dropped, and it is magical. Before we analyze it and discuss the 6 things that are getting us all excited, let’s address the most common topic of confusion. A lot of people are getting confused between ‘The Jungle Book’ and ‘Mowgli’. The former is a Disney movie that was released in 2016, and was directed by Jon Favreau. This ‘Mowgli’, here, is a Walt Disney Production, and is about to be released in October this year. While both the movies have Rudyard Kipling’s ‘The Jungle Book’ as the base story, Favreau’s Jungle Book had the quintessential cheerful vibe of Disney, while ‘Mowgli’ will be much, much darker and scary. Did you know that Andy Serkis, the director of ‘Mowgli’, is the same guy who gave the voice of ‘Gollum’ in Lord Of The Rings?

Anyway, let’s get to the trailer now. Here are the 6 awesome things that caught our attention:

1. Mowgli himself. Rohan Chand’s casting was perfection. If the Mowgli we grew up watching in cartoons could come to life, he would look exactly like this! It doesn’t get more real.

2. The special effects are making us relive our favourite childhood classic like never before. Right from the wolves to the monkeys to the panthers to the tigers, everything is scarily realistic.

3. The voice artists. From Benedict Cumberbatch as Shere Khan to Cate Blanchett as Kaa, this is a line up of the best actors in the industry.

4. Frieda Pinto is making a comeback in another popular ‘Indian’ story after Slumdog Millionaire (well, technically). Hopefully this one will be just as successful?

5. The Jungle Book originally takes place in the jungles of India, and there is a distinct Holi scene in the trailer. Have they been able to capture the true Indian spirit in all its authenticity in the movie? It is a hard task, but it looks promising.

6. The jungle itself, with all its animals, looks as majestic as it looks scary. It’s grand, but very real.

The original Iron Man suit that Robert Downey Jr. wore in the 2008 movie has been stolen. The prop storage facility in Los Angeles has reported about the theft, stating that it went missing between February and April 25. They have considered it as a burglary.

The iconic maroon-gold suit was worn by Robert Downey Jr. in ‘Iron Man’ that released in 2008, directed by Jon Favreau. Iron Man was the movie that started off the behemoth that the Marvel Cinematic Universe has turned out to be, as the highest grossing film franchise in history.

The suit is valued at an estimated $325,000 (more than INR 2 Crores). Over the course of the movies and Iron Man’s appearances, however, the suit has undergone a major transformation. Starting from the solid AF DIY Mark , it transformed multiple times, according to the characteristics and specializations of the armors associated. In the latest appearance of Iron Man in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, his suit was made out of nanobytes that could envelope his body with the touch of a button.

Well, all we can say is that it looks like the supervillains are at it again. Someone call JARVIS. 

Sonam Kapoor finally got married, and every A-lister from Bollywood was there. This was one big fat wedding turned fashion extravaganza that will be remembered for a long, long time. What caught our eye, however, were seven people, who seem to have attained the mysterious power of not ageing at all. We had our doubts about Ryan Reynolds pulling off those epic moves on stage. Hey, not underestimating him, but let’s be honest – those kicks and pirouettes, in heels? Even Deadpool has limits. So we knew that there’s got to be someone else behind that mask, someone who is a professional. We finally got our answer. The man behind that mask is Yanis Marshall, a man who is an expert when it comes to dancing in heels.

Yanis is quite famous already, to people who are interested in the domain of dance and keep themselves updated. He got famous with Britain’s Got Talent, where he was a finalist. However, it only took him one audition to grab all the eyeballs. Have a look at that audition here.

Yanis is a dance teacher who specializes in a dance form that is super sensuous and requires one to be extremely flexible. His YouTube channel boasts of a collection of fierce dance covers of famous tracks. His talent, clearly, has been recognized by Ryan Reynolds, who is now a fan. Bollywood is all ready for its next big fat wedding. Sonam Kapoor is getting hitched on May 8th, and this is the wedding that B-Town has been waiting for with bated breath ever since the announcement got out. Even though the couple has been open about the relationship in a very tastefully executed ‘we-really-don’t-have-anything-to-hide-so-why-should-we’ manner, they have just been spotted together for the very first time.
