Have you ever gotten inked for something you truly love or believe in? Kind of a crazy idea isn’t it? It becomes crazier, when you know the permanence of your tattoo and the fact that’s it’s going to stay with you forever!

The original Avengers did something as bizarre and exciting and it’s really making us question the finality of the Avenger franchise! The 5 original Avengers got matching tattoos to celebrate the cinematic event of the decade- ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, which is a remarkable culmination of 18 films, over the span of 10 years in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Heading the tattooed bunch was Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), as it was totally her idea and she roped in Chris Evans (Captain America), to get inked in New York, by a very successful tattoo artist Josh Lord. After these two got their tats done, they requested Lord to fly to LA, so the rest of the motley crew could get the same tattoo, by the same tattoo artist! That’s when Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) got their tattoos done too. The only one who was missing from the bunch was Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner AKA Hulk) ‘ços, you know body ink is not very ‘Hulk’ like!

Wait, it doesn’t end there though! Guess what these tattooed junkies did right after they got their tattoos? To make this a memorable event and thank the ink-lord, the originals each drew a line on the tattoo artist, with the same tattoo gun that was used on them, creating a complete massacre on the artists body and of course thanking him for inking them so beautifully! Oh wait, I completely forgot to tell you what they got though! They each got the Avengers logo with the number ‘6’ entwined into it, to represent the original 6 members, as body ink! I mean, it’s pretty obvious and also makes us question the fate of the next Avengers movie!

“Five of the original six Avengers got a tattoo and the sixth was the tattoo artist, who gave it to five of us, the one who opted out being Mark Ruffalo.

It was (Scarlett) Johansson’s idea, and she and (Chris) Evans did it in New York. Then, their New York guy, Josh Lord, who is amazing, flew out to LA, he did me, did (Jeremy) Renner, and then we just bullied (Chris) Hemsworth into doing it, and he got it.

And each one of us drew a line on the artist with his own tattoo gun and it was a total massacre. Each of us contributed to giving the tattoo artist the sixth tattoo that he designed for us.

By the way, he’s got another one on him that Scarlett did, which is beautiful, which is crazy, because the line she drew on him, which was just supposed to be a straight line, looked like a lightning bolt. It was a mess.” – Robert Downey Jr. ( as told to a popular entertainment publication).

Despite the crooked lightning bolt Scarlett tattooed on Lord, I am sure the bunch had a ball and I really wish we could witness them all getting inked to see who really flinches with pain and who’s nonchalant about it! I also hope we get to see the final tat the Avengers gave Josh Lord, because apparently it was truly a ‘massacre’ and we love massacres, don’t we?

But, did you know, this isn’t the first time a successful movie franchise team is getting tattooed together. This happened way back in 2001 as well, when the actors who played the 9 members of The Fellowship from ‘Lord of the Rings’, celebrated the end of a fantastic trilogy by getting matching tattoos! Well, everyone except John Rhys Davies (Gimli). They all got the number ‘9’ in J.R.R. Tolkien’s Elvish Tengwar script and I am sure it looked beautiful!

Anyway, we’re super excited to see what’s next in the Marvel Universe and glad to know these guys know how to loosen up and have a lot of fun, despite the tragic end they all were a part of, in Infinity War!

A quick warning: This story contains spoilers from ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and if you still haven’t watched it, then we don’t know what you’re so busy with in life. Seriously guys go and watch it right now, but if you choose to scroll down, do it at your own risk.

These Were the Last Words Of Groot In 'Avengers: Infinity War'© Marvel Studios

I think you all will unanimously agree with me that the ending of ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ was one of the most emotional and heartbreaking scenes in the entire movie. With almost half of the MCU fading away into dust and the remaining fighting it out with Thanos with all their might; even the toughest of us pretended to have something in our eyes just to hide those tears.

While most superheroes were vanishing into thin air, there were only a few who got to say their share of parting words and that was all it took to blow our minds away.

Of all the superheroes that disintegrated, it was Spider-Man aka Peter Parker who won our hearts in literally a time-frame of 5 seconds. FYI that scene and that tear-jerking line ‘I don’t feel so good Mr. Stark, I am sorry’ was completely improvised by Tom Holland.

These Were the Last Words Of Groot In 'Avengers: Infinity War'

If that scene and the climax of the movie is still fresh in your memory, then chances are that you will feel more miserable when you get to know the meaning behind Groot’s last words to Rocket. Recently, a fan asked James Gunn, the director of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ what were Groot’s last words.

@JamesGunn Might be too soon to ask this, but do you know what Groot’s last line is at the end of the movie?

— Joe Green (@TheMoonBearMan) May 6, 2018

Do you want to hear what Gunn said? Are you sure you are ready for this spoiler? Okay. Well, this is what he told Rocket…’Dad’.

Groot was with Rocket when he started fading and as he vanished he said, “I am Groot” and all of us were left on our own to fill the blanks of what he was trying to say to Rocket. And now that Gunn has revealed it, fans couldn’t help but go into a meltdown and these tweets are proof of how crushed they are right now.

The fact that Tom Holland is really, really bad with keeping his mouth shut about movie spoilers is common knowledge now. Remember the time when he gave out a spoiler to an entire theater who had not seen ‘Infinity War’? (Here is the clip if you haven’t seen it yet).

Anyway, what we are focusing on here is another instance. There was an Instagram Live session that Holland had started for his fans, and he actually showed them the brand new poster of Infinity War, that was confidential and was meant only for him.

This is how it started. He opened up a package and got all excited. He took the poster out and showed it on camera.

Then, he rummaged through the other stuff inside the package and got a letter out. The back side of the letter, that was on camera, had the logo of Marvel Studios and read: ‘Confidential – Do Not Share’.

He then read it out loud. It said: “Hi Tom, I’m so excited to be working with you in Avengers: Infinity War. I thought you would like to be the first one to see the poster for the movie. Enjoy, Mark Ruffalo.”

After a second, he turns the letter over and realization creeps in over him. Panic-stricken, he frantically tries to close the live session with a hilarious flurry of “Shit shit shit no no no…”

Oh, Mark, you just couldn’t help it, could you?

Before we get into how Mark Ruffalo actually spoiled the movie last year, there are obviously spoilers in this article, it goes without saying, but still consider this as a disclaimer. And, if you haven’t watched ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ yet, then you should be ashamed of yourself.

Okay, for all of us who’ve watched it already, let’s get back to talking about this great movie. I think everyone would agree that the ending was totally heart-wrenching, even if it wasn’t that unexpected. During the tragic climax, we lost so many superheroes. Actually, we saw a lot of characters die throughout the movie, but it was that last moment where everyone was disintegrating one by one that got the most gasps (and tears, probably).

Mark Ruffalo Gave A Huge 'Infinity War' Spoiler Last Year

Black Panther, Spider Man, Doctor Strange, Bucky Barnes, Falcon, Scarlet Witch, Star-Lord, Drax, Mantis, Groot, Nick Fury and Maria Hill – all died, or ceased to exist, as my brother likes to put it, but we know they’re all not actually dead, simply because of the string of franchises in the future.

While we were aware that we would see many characters die in this movie, no one expected the list to be that long. It’s actually quite impressive how Marvel was able to keep everything a secret until the movie, especially considering they had two of the most untrustworthy characters playing significant roles. Yes, I’m talking about Tom Holland and Mark Ruffalo, of course.

Mark Ruffalo Gave A Huge 'Infinity War' Spoiler Last Year

While Tommy was able to stop himself from giving away spoilers with a little bit help from his friend, Benedict Cumberbatch, Mark wasn’t so lucky to have him on his side. But, at least he was a little lucky since when he gave out the biggest spoiler ever, and no one even believed him.

Mark Ruffalo and Don Cheadle’s interview with Good Morning America from last year has become really relevant again now that the movie is out and yes, Mark really couldn’t help himself from giving out a major spoiler. Classic old Mark, tbh.

Mark Ruffalo Gave A Huge 'Infinity War' Spoiler Last Year

In the video, they are talking about the then-upcoming movie ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ which leads to Mark joking around and revealing what happens in the movie after that, which was ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.

When Don Cheadle warns him after saying “I wouldn’t say too much”, Mark goes on to sum it up by saying, “Every other Marvel movie, it doesn’t end well for the superheroes.”

Then, when the interviewer agrees, Mark proceeds to make a giant goof up and says, “Wait till you see the next one, everybody dies.” Looks like revealing the biggest spoiler of the biggest Marvel movie ever doesn’t matter to Mark. The most hilarious part, though, is Don’s alarmed “D-DUDE!”

Mark Ruffalo Gave A Huge 'Infinity War' Spoiler Last Year

Obviously, Mark realizes his mistake and tries to cover up with “not everybody” and then asks if they can rewind that part and cut it out. At some point you would think that maybe Mark is joking (he wasn’t though, and we know for sure now) but then his minor freak out seems so genuine.

The video was posted in July and at that point everyone thought it was a joke, otherwise it wouldn’t have been posted.

But I would need therapy if it does happen 😟😣😥

Yes, no one knew at that moment that we’ll all be personally victimized by Marvel like this, but we thought even Mark didn’t know. We’ve heard before that apparently Mark didn’t even get the whole script of ‘Infinity War’ since he’s always been known to accidentally reveal spoilers.

So, what is the truth?

May 012018

I have already written so many stories about ‘Avengers: Infinity War ‘and the Marvel Cinematic Universe that I’ve lost count. But, am I bored of it yet? Far from it, and it seems like I’m not the only one.

Everyone will keep talking about this epic movie probably until the next one comes out and everyone knows that their favorite character is coming back to life or not, and I’m not complaining. I’m more than happy to dig out more stuff and more theories about this and share with my fellow Marvel fans and all the people who felt personally victimized by Marvel because of that ending, so we’ll just avoid talking about that.

9 Scenes From 'Infinity War' That Are Only In The Trailer

You know what’s a good suggestion for all the movies you watch in the future, especially Marvel movies? Go back and watch the trailers again, they portray things quite differently in that so as to not give out spoilers.

For months, we were all watching and re-watching the trailers just to look out for anything that we’ve missed, but turns out even Marvel was playing games with us. They changed up so many scenes just for the trailer, so that people couldn’t figure out what will actually go down in the actual movie.

Here are some examples and well, Marvel did do a good job at hiding some scenes, have to give them that.

1. That Running Shot

To paraphrase Robert Downey Jr’s epic Twitter Bio, you know what I’m talking about, the battle charge in Wakanda, with Captain America, Bucky, The Hulk, Black Widow, Black Panther and Okoye running.

9 Scenes From 'Infinity War' That Are Only In The Trailer

Yes, this scene, probably the most popular shot before the movie came out, and even after, tbh. But, it’s not even real. If you’ve seen the movie – obviously you have because why would you reading this right now – then you know the hilarious struggle between Bruce Banner and The Hulk where, The Hulk basically tells Bruce “no”, like a moody teenager.

So, yes The Hulk doesn’t make an appearance in the movie except for the beginning scene and well, this shot is now a lie.

2. Thor Meeting Guardians Of The Galaxy

Since ‘Infinity War’ was pegged as the biggest crossover ever, Marvel obviously showed us all the different characters meeting each other for the first time ever. Remember how in the trailer, when Thor asks the ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ that, ‘Who the hell are you guys?’ and they just smile and wave at him?

9 Scenes From 'Infinity War' That Are Only In The Trailer

In the movie, this meeting wasn’t that civil but was more of a war. Initially, the guardians are so ready to attack the God of Thunder but all’s well when we get one of the most hilarious scenes in the movie where Star-Lord is so jealous and insecure because of Thor. Also, Drax fanboying over the beauty of Odin’s son is unforgettable.

3. Bruce Banner And Natasha Romanoff’s Reunion

In the trailer, Marvel set the sequence of the scenes so perfectly that at one point, it looked like Bruce Banner and Natasha Romanoff had a very nice and friendly reunion.

9 Scenes From 'Infinity War' That Are Only In The Trailer

But, in reality, their reunion happened in a totally different setting and it was as awkward as Bruce in the entire movie.

4. Thanos And The Infinity Stones

The iconic scene in the trailer where we see the infinity gauntlet in all its glory, well turns out that is kind of a lie, kind of.

9 Scenes From 'Infinity War' That Are Only In The Trailer

If you notice closely, you can see that Thanos is on Titan at this moment, but when this scene actually happened in the movie, he already had four stones, and only needed the time stone and mind stone to wipe out half of the universe with just a snap of his fingers.

5. Loki Giving Up The Tesseract

This one, honestly, is all about the context. The trailer shows Loki with the tesseract, which contains the space stone.

9 Scenes From 'Infinity War' That Are Only In The Trailer

In the movie, he did give Thanos his second infinity stone, but he did that to save Thor’s life. So, it all depends on your perception of the scene in the trailer.

6. God Of Thunder’s ‘Thunder’

In the trailer, there’s a very dramatic scene where Thor raises his hand and there’s just so much thunder.

9 Scenes From 'Infinity War' That Are Only In The Trailer

Yep, this one. What a beautiful scene, it’s a shame it never made it into the movie. But, Marvel did make it up to us by giving us that epic entry by Thor in Wakanda. I’m not exaggerating when I say that literally, every person in the theatre started cheering at that moment. Moreover, look at the gif closely, Thor is not even holding anything when ideally he should have had his new cool axe.

7. The Hulkbuster Scene

Remember when Tony Stark made the Hulkbuster to counter The Hulk. While he never needed to wear it in the movie, since The Hulk was just a no-show, the armor still made an appearance in the trailer.

9 Scenes From 'Infinity War' That Are Only In The Trailer

Well, it’s just so ironic that since The Hulk decided to not corporate with Bruce, he ended up wearing the Hulkbuster while fighting Thanos and ‘his children’ in Wakanda. But hey, when it works, it works.

8. Thanos Crushing Thor’s Head

Well, the trailer made us think that Thor might just die at the hands of Thanos with a one-second scene where he seems to be crushing his head.

9 Scenes From 'Infinity War' That Are Only In The Trailer

As we all know that this scene never really took place in the movie. It was just Thanos using some kind of torture device instead.

9. Thanos And The Infinity Stones ‘Part Two’

I don’t know what Marvel achieved by keeping the number of infinity stones Thanos has a secret at every point in the trailer.

9 Scenes From 'Infinity War' That Are Only In The Trailer

Maybe, they wanted people to think that it was actually really hard for Thanos to acquire all the infinity stones and give us false hope that all our favourite characters will be safe. But, as we all know that during this memorable scene in the movie, Thanos already has all the stones, except the mind stone.

Marvel is back and thankfully, they’re being their playful, colourful, fun-loving selves again. After missing Ant-Man in the recently released ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and not knowing where he is, we finally get some answers.

Actually, we don’t really know where he is and we definitely don’t know what part of the MCU timeline this movie falls under. The only thing we can know for sure is that it’s definitely before Thanos destroys half the universe because all of our favourite characters from the first movie are back and more.

Check it out:

All the things we loved in the first Ant-Man movie make a come back for this one. And we’re pretty sure no good guys are going to die in this one. There won’t be as many deaths as ‘Infinity War’ for sure.

Here’s a second-by-second break down of what’s happening in the trailer along with my two cents on why I’m ready to forgive Marvel for the tragedy that was the ‘Infinity War’ ending:

0:00 – Starting off with Scott Lang with his daughter. Proving he’s a family man and that’s why he had to take the deal to protect his family in ‘Avengers: Infinity War.’

0:03 – No holding back this time around. Giant-Man straight off the bat.

0:13 – Did Marvel actually make cars this size or is this all special effects? I hope it’s the former. Would love to play around that set.

0:23 – Hell yeah he does! He always did!

0:24 – Hello, Evangeline Lilly. Long time no see. Still have a crush on you.

0:28 – Awesome ass-kicking skills!

0:33 – Luis is back. We get a preview of his trademark style of storytelling. Michael Pena is <3.

0:40 – Ghost. What an apt name!

0:47 – Take over the world. Really? The universe was just at stake. Good thing it’s a preview.

0:54 – Of course we remember Luis. But, epic nonetheless.

0:57 – Best song choice ever.

1:04 – They could have had a ‘small’ role in Infinity War. Maybe we couldn’t see them?

1:11 – Never seen salt used like that.

1:15 – Hell yeah! An ant playing the drums. Doesn’t get more meta than that.

1:20 – Antony II 😀

1:27 – She’s got a point!

1:39 – Luis is just too good, man!

1:44 – Now that was a crazy move!

1:58 – Laurence Fishburne just crossed over from DC to Marvel. Good for you Morpheus.

2:10 – Love that laugh!

Yes, I know we’re kind of late with this article, but we were a little too busy covering every other news and memes related to ‘Avengers: Infinity War’.

But, better late than never, amirite?

Okay, so here we go. I’m assuming that whoever is reading this didn’t watch the first day first show of the greatest movie of this year, or probably this decade. This would be just a recap of all the movies and everything we’re expecting from the most anticipated movie by Marvel, ever.

With the movie being of just 160 minutes and 76 main characters (is this some sort of world record for having the most number of main characters?), so yeah, there will be a lot to unpack in the movie itself, so it’ll help to be prepared. It’s always good to be prepared.

All You Need To Know Before Watching 'Infinity War'

Let’s begin this MCU masterclass.

First and the most important thing that we need to discuss – What the hell is Thanos’ deal?

After his first appearance in ‘The Avengers’ in 2012, Thanos has mostly lurked in the shadows for the most part, for most of the movies, until now. As everyone knows, he’s the main antagonist of ‘Infinity War’.

The character brought to life by Josh Brolin had been described as “an amoral philosopher. He’s not the Devil, although he sometimes has the devil standing next to him.”

All You Need To Know Before Watching 'Infinity War'

He’s known to his followers as Dark Lord and to his enemies as the Mad Titan and he also controls Black Order, which is made up of Proxima Midnight, Cull Obsidian, Corvus Glaive and Ebony Maw.

Now, let’s talk about his previous appearances. In 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, he joined forces with Ronan the Accuser, but was then betrayed because he just wanted to use the Power Stone to his own advantage.

Then, in 2015’s ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’, Thanos has an uncredited appearance in a post-credits scene. So basically, here’s where Thanos has decided to apparently stop hiring minions to do his bidding, saying, with his hand in the Infinity Gauntlet, “Fine. I’ll do it myself”. I’m pretty sure it’s clear, but if Thanos acquires all six Infinity Stones, he will become the most powerful man in the universe.

All You Need To Know Before Watching 'Infinity War'

Speaking of the Infinity Stones, here’s an explanation of what they are exactly and where all of them are. Yes, we have all been joking about the ‘rainbow rocks’ that this purple alien is doing anything and everything to find, but here’s why Thanos is so adamant to collect them.

First, there’s the Space Stone, or Tesseract, which, as the name suggests, controls space and creates portals. It was last seen with Loki, as he stole it from his late father’s vault at the end of 2017’s ‘Thor: Ragnarok’.

The Mind Stone instils powers and can be used for mind control.

Now, let’s come to the Reality Stone, or Aether, which is a liquid with destructive properties. Remember how that infected Jane Foster in 2013’s ‘Thor: The Dark World’. Now, it is with the Collector.

The Power Stone is a big one as it can annihilate anyone who touches it and level an entire planet. That sounds bad, just imagine it in action. Currently, it’s with the Nova Corps, given to them for safekeeping by ‘Guradians Of The Galaxy’ after they took it from Ronan.

The Time Stone is what was used to trap Dormammu, an evil inter-dimensional entity, in a loop in 2016’s ‘Doctor Strange’. Right now, it’s with Doctor Strange himself, as he wears it around his neck.

All You Need To Know Before Watching 'Infinity War'

Okay, we’re down to the last one and the most mysterious one. The Soul Stone has not yet made its debut in the MCU and its location is also unknown. So, we just have to watch ‘Infinity War’ to find out more about this stone.

In case you don’t have the time to binge watch every movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, here’s a little recap with the main highlight from each movie.

Iron Man (2008) – The movie that started it all! It was pretty smart of Marvel to start off the franchise with Robert Downey Jr, because who will not love him.

All You Need To Know Before Watching 'Infinity War'

The Incredible Hulk (2008) – The highlight of this one is Tony Stark aka Iron Man briefly showing up and hinting at forming a team.

Iron Man 2 (2010) – Not a fan favourite sequel, but hey, it did introduce us to the character of Black Widow.

Thor (2011) – This movie marked the first appearance of Loki

Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) – This movie laid some groundwork for the first Avengers movie that would come out the following year, and it also introduced us to Bucky Barnes. But, the main part is that this movie is the first one where we saw the first Infinity Stone, the Space one, in the form of a glowing blue cube called the Tesseract.

All You Need To Know Before Watching 'Infinity War'

The Avengers (2012) – Now, this one was Thanos’ debut as he appeared in a post-credits stinger scene.

Iron Man 3 (2013) – Fans actually loved this sequel.

Thor: The Dark World (2013) – This movie introduces us to the Reality stone in the form of red goo, which was given to The Collector and is assumed till now that he has it still.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) – This one introduces us to the character of Falcon and also marks the return of Bucky, who resurrects as a super assassin known as the Winter Soldier.

Guardians of the Galaxy (2014) – Now, this is the first movie to give us a lot of insight about Thanos.

All You Need To Know Before Watching 'Infinity War'

Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015) – This movie acts as an introduction to Scarlet Witch and Vision, with Vision being created by the Infinity stone from Loki’s scepter and an Iron Man suit.

Ant-Man (2015) – Well, this one has Paul Rudd!

Captain America: Civil War (2016) – After all the damage done in the last Avengers movie, this one shows the government wanting to establish the Sokovia Accords to keep the Avengers under U.N. oversight. While Iron Man likes this idea, Captain America doesn’t. This is also T’Challa aka Black Panther’s first appearance.

Doctor Strange (2016) – An origin story that basically introduces us to the Time stone.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)

Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017) – Well, this is Tom Holland’s big debut as Spider Man.

Thor: Ragnarok (2017) – In this hilarious movie, we meet Valkyrie, who will also pop up in Infinity War.

All You Need To Know Before Watching 'Infinity War'

Black Panther (2018) – I guess this one is still fresh in everyone’s mind so don’t even need to recap it.

Wow, that was a lot of movies. I’m going to end this somewhat educational journey about the Marvel Cinematic Universe by saying that everyone should be prepared for some deaths in ‘Infinity War’; we’ve known for a long time we’ll be losing some people, but if you’re still in denial, it’s finally time to face it.

Abhishek Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor were recently in Singapore for a charity football match when ‘Kala Chashma’ was played on the field, but the men ended up doing the ‘Kajra Re’ instead.

When it’s Kala Chashma but you wanna go Kaje Ra Re 😂👌💃 @juniorbachchan#AbhishekBachchan #RanbirKapoor #AllStarsFC #Football #Magicbus #Singapore #AB_Junior #Bachchan #friends #Dance #kala_chashma #kajerare #celebrities #Bollywood #India  #ABcrew #ابهيشيك_باتشان pic.twitter.com/IYoiZAlUG4

When someone tweeted about it, Abhishek had a funny explanation for the same.

Hahaha. Ranbir and I just couldn’t get the steps so we did one that we knew.

If you personally ask us, we love both the songs but we’ve got to give it to Aish, the true OG.

Ranbir is currently trending big time thanks to his jaw-dropping avatar in ‘Sanju’ , the Sanjay Dutt biopic where he is playing the titular role.

With just one week to go for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, fans are already beside themselves with anticipation to see what Thanos does to their beloved superheroes. Of course, Marvel is doing what it does best, teasing us endlessly with teasers and TV spots and I don’t think I can take it anymore.

2018 has already begun as a remarkable year for Marvel fans, with the makers promising to roll out one spectacular movie after another, and soon it will be time to witness the biggest superhero crossover in history.

MensXP's Exclusive Interview With 'Black Widow' Scarlett Johansson About 'Avengers: Infinity War'

Iron Man and Star-Lord, Black Widow and Okoye, these are just a few names among the many, which we never imagined to see on the same screen. But I guess, the end of the world changes things.

Anyway, we were losing our minds in the process of waiting to see the Avengers in action again, and when we couldn’t take it anymore, we decided to take matters into our own hands and reach out to a crucial member of the team.

Badass, fierce, smart, sexy, lethal, intelligent (we can go on forever with the adjectives). Black Widow is a character who has struck a chord with both male and female fans alike, not just because she can kill you with her looks (literally), but because she is a deadly weapon, minus any superpowers, with an array of skills that make her one of a kind.

Scarlett Johansson, aka Natasha Romanoff, better known as Black Widow is literally the best spy/assassin/superhero there is, and when we got a chance to speak to her about the fate of the Avengers in ‘Infinity War’, it sure was an illuminating chat.

Where Do We Find Your Character At The Start Of ‘Infinity War’?

Black Widow: It’s hard to say because there is a two-year period between ‘Civil War’ and the start of ‘Infinity War’. There’s a lot to explore there, but certainly, I built a backstory for my own character that really finds her in a place where she is more determined than ever to be as strategic as possible and to keep everything under control as much as she possibly can. She’s kind of gone rogue. She and Cap are trying to monitor and take care of as much as they possibly can without having the structure that they had in the safety of the Avengers. They’re operating their own team so to speak. It’s kind of rough when we first find them. I imagine that Natasha is a little bit hardened from what she’s experienced and what she’s had to go through.

Where Are Steve Rogers And Natasha Heading In Their Friendship?

Black Widow: I think Steve and Natasha have a very fluid communication between them (smiles). They’ve obviously been on hundreds of missions together, in life or death situations. They operate very much like teammates. It’s a kind of unspoken communication that they have at this point.

Tell Us About The Stellar Cast & How Do You Feel At This Point?

Black Widow: It’s been really exciting to get to work with some of the actors from different franchises that I have just admired. I guess you would say we are sort of an extended family. And then, of course, there are new characters that are also being introduced to the family. That part of it is wonderful because certainly what Marvel has really championed for, I think, is hiring actors who are unexpected, are dedicated and are fresh. They advocate for new, and that part of it is so exciting. Of course, it’s bittersweet for me because I look around and see the cast and crew that have really become very close friends of mine and like a movie family, and I know that perhaps this could be the last time that all of us are together in this kind of way. It’s a bittersweet feeling, but I’m really proud of the work that we’ve done. And I’m proud of what we’ve built. I really feel like I’ve taken this character as far as I can go within this context, and I’m proud of that.

Let’s Talk About Coming Face-To-Face With Thanos

Black Widow: The Avengers talk about him so much before they see him that we’re sort of fighting this faceless evil, so when they finally see him I think it’s just the likes of something that Natasha could not even possibly imagine. These are the highest stakes that the Avengers have ever faced, and with that, she is willing to give it everything she has.

Ten Years, That’s A Long Time, What Does It Mean To You?

Black Widow: It’s been an incredible opportunity for me to be able to continue to come back to a character that I love so much and be able to peel back the layers, so to speak, of a character that I think in many ways kind of reflects myself and reflects my own growth and my own challenges. I really feel it’s been an incredible gift as an actor to be able to have that experience.
