Himesh Reshammiya is all set to marry longtime girlfriend Sonia Kapoor. This is the singer-music composer’s second marriage. He was earlier married to Komal

It’s raining weddings this year. After Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s lavish wedding ceremony and reception party, actress-host Neha Dhupia surprised the nation with the sudden announcement of her marriage with ‘best friend’ Angad Bedi. Well, if you thought you are done with the wedding season, hold your breath, as we have another Bollywood couple tying the knot.

Music composer-singer Himesh Reshammiya is all set to get hitched with girlfriend Sonia Kapoor on May 11, 2018. The couple will have an intimate wedding ceremony with a set of close friends and family. Talking about it, the singer’s spokesperson said, “A simple ceremony will be held on the night of 11th May at his residence. The ceremony will be a close-knit affair with just close family and friends. Himesh’s parents and son Swaym will also be present for the occasion.”

This is Himesh Reshammiya’s second marriage with Sonia after his divorce with ex-wife Komal. They had filed for divorce in 2016 and was granted the divorce on June 07, 2017. Talking about the divorce, Komal had issued a statement, “I and Himesh completely respect each other and are jointly going with this decision to part ways legally but mutual respect will always be there between us as I am a part of his family and will always be, and the same is with him towards my family.”

Talking about her equation with Sonia, she had said, “There are compatibility issues in our marriage but we respect each other immensely. Nobody else should be dragged into this matter and nobody else is responsible for this and the reason for our marriage not working is only and only compatibility. Sonia is not responsible for this at all and our son Swaym and our family loves Sonia just like a family member.”

On the other hand, Himesh had said, “In a statement, Himesh Reshammiya said, “Sometimes in life mutual respect becomes most important and giving due respect to our relationship, me and Komal have amicably decided to part ways legally as husband and wife and there is no problem whatsoever with this decision amongst us and our family as every member of the family have respected our decision and yet Komal is and will always remain a part of our family and I will always be a part of her family.”

The trailer of John Abraham’s film, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran is out

After the legal tiff between John Abraham and Prernaa Arora’s Kriarj Entertainment over Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, the much-delayed film’s trailer has finally been released. The makers of the film chose May 11 as the date to unveil the trailer, as this day marks 20 years of the completion of Parmanu testing been done.

Before giving the audience an insight into the film’s trailer, the makers played the National Anthem and then showcased the trailer. Talking about the film’s release, John Abraham said, “Releasing a film is like conducting a nuclear test.”

Apart from John, also present at the event was Diana Penty. Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, has given a glimpse into the secret mission of the Indian government to test a nuclear bomb in 1998.

Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran is an ode to the Indian army and scientists, who although ordinary people, accomplished truly extraordinary feats in the face of adversity. It salutes, celebrates and truly embraces the slogan- Jai Jawan Jai Vigyan. While the premise of the film is based on true events, the characters are fictitious. Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the film stars John Abraham, Diana Penty and Boman Irani.

The film will release on May 25, 2018.

That television actress Hina Khan is dating Rocky Jaiswal is not a secret anymore. Their relationship went public during Hina’s Bigg Boss stint. Rocky had entered the show as Hina’s family and proposed to her in the show with a ring, and ever since, they have been very open about their relationship.

Now, according to an india-forum report, Hina Khan went live to interact with her fans and followers, where she received severe backlash for dating Rocky Jaiswal. According to those trolls, Rocky isn’t good-looking enough to date Hina. To which, the actress shut them with a befitting reply.

She said that this wasn’t the right kind of thinking and is highly regressive. She also said that looks don’t mean everything and maybe everyone is not adorned with great features but that does not strip away their right to be with someone who is beautiful. Although she further went on to say that it does not mean that she is very beautiful but it’s something she feels is the kind of thinking that no one should have.

Apart from this, in an earlier chat session on Twitter, Hina had professed her wish to do a dance-based reality show, Nach Baliye with Rocky. “It is not like we are actually planning to do Nach Baliye, but may the next season or the season after I’d do it for Ro if things materialize,” she had said.

Now that everyone’s getting married, when she was asked about it, the television bahu had said, “Not at all. We have a long way to go. We just want to enjoy ourselves, but I am glad that it’s finally out in public.”

After collaborating with Celine Dion for an amazing video for the soundtrack of the movie, they now have roped in the football legend himself – David Beckham, for a promo.

The promo starts with a pissed off Beckham sitting on the couch, watching the scene from Deadpool where his accent and voice was being made fun of. He then gets an apology text from Deadpool.

He ignores the text but someone starts knocking the door. It turns out to be Deadpool himself, apologizing with milk and cookies.

As the entire who’s who of Bollywood descended to attend Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja’s wedding, we lesser mortals couldn’t help but feel a little jealous. From binge-watching the celebrity dance videos to dismissing it all as media hype, we went through a range of emotions. As if that wasn’t all, Mukesh Ambani’s daughter Isha Ambani got engaged and it was another party for us to look at and experience FOMO. But after we saw Anand Ahuja awkwardly manoeuvre his way through our boisterous Bollywood stars, we felt a little better. He is one of us. Just when we were making peace with our fate, Neha Dhupia got married to Angad Bedi in a secret wedding and broke our hearts just a little.
