After giving us blockbusters like ‘Namastey London', ‘Aankhen', ‘Waqt', ‘Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty', and ‘Singh Is Kinng'; Vipul Shah is all set to wear the director's cap for his upcoming project ‘Namastey Canada'. We know what y'all might be thinking about – is this movie a sequel to ‘Namastey London'? No, this movie does not connect any loose threads left in the 2007 hit film. Vipul has shortlisted Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra as the lead pair of the movie and we are losing our minds already because this couple was on fire in ‘Ishaqzaade' with guns, action and revenge.
Sharing his excitement about the film, Vipul said “I would love to thank Akshay for standing with me and showing tremendous grace in giving me the title ‘Namastey Canada'. I am very happy that Arjun and Parineeti have agreed to join me in this journey and I hope that this film can become one of their best outings.” The actors who are reuniting after a gap of 5 years are equally kicked about this project. Arjun who is working with Vipul for the first time said, “I'm super excited to be a part of this very special film. I've enjoyed all of Vipul sir's films – Aankhen, Waqt, most certainly Namastey London.” He further added, “It's exciting that after working with giants like Mr. Bachchan and Akshay Kumar, he's chosen me for his next directorial venture.”
While we were trying to figure out what the movie is all about, Parineeti gave a sneak-peek and it's now getting harder for us to wait for this movie to release, “‘Namastey Canada' is exactly the film I was looking for! It's desi with a videsi heart (or maybe videsi with a desi heart!).” “Arjun and I are so so excited to get this party on the floor. We will be playing to our Punjabi strengths but speak to the global audience,” she further added.

She was on a plank all this while and was being lifted by someone from the back. This was a really good prank and we have to give it to her for pulling this off brilliantly.

Actor Ranbir Kapoor recently did a podcast with the team members of ‘AIB’ (All India Bakchod’). In the podcast Ranbir Kapoor revealed that he did not want to be a part of Karan Johar’s talk show ‘Koffee With Karan’.
According to a story on ndtv.com, Ranbir claimed that he and actress Anushka Sharma, his co-star from Karan Johar’s film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, had planned to get the rest of Bollywood to band together against Koffee With Karan.
“You know Karan so well and he makes you so comfortable and you are chatting with him and you don’t realise there are a billion people taking every word of yours seriously,” Ranbir said while being interviewed by AIB. “I was forced this season. I told Karan I don’t want to come in. Anushka and I were actually going to protest and get the film industry together to stop this because it’s not fair because he’s making money out of us. We come and we get scr****d through the year. It’s not right,” the actor added.
Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Jagga Jasoos’ tanked badly at the box-office. He will be next seen in Ayan Mukerji’s superhero film ‘Dragon’.

Sonam Kapoor, who is shooting for the Sanjay Dutt biopic in New York, will do a photo shoot for the new collection of her fashion line.
A source says, “Her sister Rhea travelled to New York. When Sonam got free for a few hours, they consulted their in-house designers and conceptualised a theme for the shoot. The idea was to portray a regular working woman. They shortlisted a few NRI models. A five-hour shooting-schedule is planned.”
It will be shot by popular photography firm, The House of Pixels, the fashion line will be unveiled in Mumbai next month. Kapoor’s sister will be curating the designs. The finale will be shot at the Brooklyn Bridge in Manhattan.

Kriti Sanon who is collaborating with Ashwini Iyer Tiwari for the very first time shared a sweet sneak peek from behind the sets of Bareilly Ki Barfi.
Kriti shared an image where she is sitting on Ashwiny’s lap while the cameras were not rolling. The image further exhibits the bond the actor director duo shares.
The image is the testimony of the comfort level Kriti and Aswhiny shared and the comforted creative bonding.
The actress posted a picture on social media captioning, “My favourite seat in between shots! Full pampering and “laad” for Bitti by her adorable director !! These little moments make the film making journey special!! Love you @ashwinyiyertiwari #bareillykibarfi”.
With a picture, Kriti hinted at the love and pampering Aswhiny bestowed upon the young actress.
A glimpse of this healthy collaboration is seen in the trailer which is garnering much love from across quarters.
Bareilly Ki Barfi stars Kriti Sanon alongside Aysuhmann Khurrana and Rajkummar Rao in a quirky love triangle.
The film is directed by Ashwiny Iyer and Nitesh Tiwari who are teaming up for the for the second time after Nil Battey Sannata.
Junglee pictures in association with BR Studios present Bareilly Ki Barfi, The film is scheduled to release on 18th August 2017.

With MS Dhoni's biopic becoming one of the biggest hits of last year, Bollywood has finally realized the potential of bringing sports personalities' lives to the big screen and it seems like the trend is continuing strong. Next in line now is paralympian Deepa Malik, as Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani are gearing up to produce a biopic on her.
Last year, she became the first Indian woman to win a medal in the Paralympics Games, bagging a Silver medal at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in the shot put event. Moreover, she already has 54 gold medals at the national level and 13 at the international level in swimming, javelin throw and shot put and was even honoured with the Arjuna Award back in 2012.
And now her inspiring life story will be coming to the big screen, all thanks to Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani. Reportedly, Farhan was so inspired by her when he met, he felt the need to show the world about the challenges she has faced in her life.
“I had watched videos of her and knew that her life story was unreal, but when I met her and she let me hold her medal, the sheer weight of the silver gave me gooseflesh,” Pune Mirror quoted Ritesh as saying.
“At one point in her life she had to choose between death and life in a wheelchair and she chose the latter. But as she sat in front of me, there was nothing differently-abled about her. She was empowering, a pillar of strength, and I knew that we needed to take her fight to the big screen.”
The movie is already in its initial stages, and the biopic is expected to start production next year. But right now, casting is crucial, as RItesh Sidhwani believes it will be career defining role for any actress, as it's not just about the athlete, but also the person she is today.

1. Darr (1993)
In a time when most leading actors wouldn't want to experiment with their roles with the fear of getting rejected by the audience, Shah Rukh Khan stepped out of his comfort zone and played an antagonist in the film. He played Rahul Mehra, the obsessive lover with such finesse, the audiences loved hating him.
2. Baazigar (1993)
Breaking the ‘lovestruck chocolate hero' image of his, Shah Rukh Khan took vengeance to a whole new level with ‘Baazigar'. He played his part so well, effortlessly switching from Vicky to Ajay. So, it can be easily touted as one of best performances.
3. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)
DDLJ is the only Bollywood film to have complete 1000 weeks in a theatre, and it wouldn't have been even half as awesome, if it was not for Shah Rukh Khan's superlative performance. Even though there are a couple more romantic films SRK won many accolades for, like ‘Mohabbatein', ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and ‘Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham', ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' was the one that changed Indian cinema forever! Be it the drama, or the romance, SRK aced every bit of the emotional spectrum like he was born to play Raj. If romance exists in Bollywood today, Shah Rukh Khan is the reason.
4. Dil Se… (1998)
One of the most underrated films in Bollwyood, ‘Dil Se…' proved SRK was not all about the Yash Raj glamour and candyfloss romance. ‘Dil Se…' was dark and gritty, and SRK cast himself in a completely different mould for this one. The film speaks volumes about the sincerity with which it was made. SRK's performance as Amarkant Verma was sheer brilliance. Sadly, the film never got its due.
5. Devdas (2002)
If Bimal Roy's ‘Devdas' (1955) has to be remade, it had to be done with Shah Rukh Khan as the new lead hero. No one else could have played the alcoholic lover better than this man. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's love for detail and Shah Rukh Khan's heartfelt performance made ‘Devdas' the iconic film that it is.
That Shah Rukh Khan has a goofy side to him was pretty evident in all the blockbuster romantic comedies he delivered previously. But with ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho', he literally mastered the art of comedy and took entertainment to a whole new level. His comic timing was simply impeccable in the film. And not to forget those tear-jerking moments towards the end. SRK is one man who can make you laugh and cry at the same time.
7. Veer Zaara (2004)
An India-Pakistan love story at its tender best, ‘Veer Zaara' showed ‘Shah Rukh Khan' as a brooding lover in an unforgettable performance. He captured the old world charm of romance so brilliantly well, the film transported the audiences to a different time altogether. With due credit to the director and the dialogue writers, SRK owned ‘Veer Zaara', one of the most epic Bollywood romances ever.
8. Swades (2004)
SRK played Mohan Bhargava in ‘Swades', an NRI who visits his village and is taken aback by the state it is in. One of the most revolutionary films of all times, ‘Swades' had SRK five up his superstardom and step into the shoes of a common man. The sincerity in his eyes was enough to have us know the emotions were coming straight through his heart.
9. Don – The Chase Begins Again (2006)
To remake a film that made Amitabh Bachchan the megastar that he is today was a huge feat and only Shah Rukh Khan could have made it possible with his performance. There were a lot of speculations about whether SRK would be able to fit in to the Amitabh Bachchan's shoes. But not only did he bring certain freshness to the character, he shut all the critics up with his outstanding performance. Also, considering how he was never known to be an action hero, he did a splendid job in ‘Don'.
10. Chak De India (2007)
Undoubtedly one of the best performance of his entire career, Shah Rukh Khan showed an entirely new, authoritative side to his otherwise happy, charming personality in ‘Chak De India'. He was controlled, affirmative and powerful. The famous ‘sattar minute' dialogue is one of the most inspiring scenes in Bollywood films! Need we say more?
11. My Name Is Khan (2010)
Shah Rukh Khan as a man suffering with Asperger Syndrome was so unbelievably nuanced; it proved his calibre as an actor like never before. He set the standard so high; it was unthinkable to imagine someone else playing even a remotely similar role. Watch the film and you will know there is no end to this man's talent.

In a shocking twist of events, the Hyderabad police have arrested a man, who is the manager of actress Kajal Aggarwal in his connection with drug peddlers. In a report of TOI Ronny, the manager of actress Kajal Aggarwal was arrested on Monday.
Ronny worked as Manager for other actresses such as Lavanya Tripati and Raashi Khanna as well. The drug racket case has taken an unexpected turn with his arrest.
His residence in Hyderabad was raided by the SIT officials. They suspect that he has close links with the drug peddlers. As a celebrity manager, he has connections with some heavyweights in film industry, and his arrest may create tremors in their backyards. He is currently being questioned by the authorities.
