As part of her audition for Gurinder Chadha’s film, Partition 1947, Huma Qureshi had to enact a scene of drying clothes. Huma made a video and sent it across to the filmmaker in London. Just one glimpse of Huma was enough for Chadha to cast her in the film.
Those who thought drying clothes was a mundane task, better know that it may sometimes also land you a film.
