Salman at Race 3 trailer launch: Neither am I sensible, nor an actor, says star

Amidst much hullabaloo and celebration, the trailer of Race 3 finally got unveiled on Tuesday. A special screening for fans was organised by Salman Khan

After the much hyped wait and delay for one of the most anticipated films of 2018’s film- Race 3 trailer, it was funny unveiled on May 15, Tuesday, at a suburban multiplex.

With Salman Khan leading the ‘Race’ family, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem, Daisy Shah and Freddy Daruwala just followed in at the trailer launch.

Well, knowing it’s a Salman Khan film, the trailer ought to be larger than life, which matches the scale of the mega star’s aura.

While the interaction process with the media was on, a journalist tried asking a question to Salman Khan, and praised the star’s acting skills, he immediately cut her in and quipped, “Neither am I sensible, nor am I an actor.” After which, the crowd bursted into laughter.

Also, speaking about doing Race 3, and carrying the franchise forward, the 52-year-old was asked if he had absorbed any traits from the previous two installments or watched those films. To which, in his witty style, the stalwart said, “I haven’t seen Race 1and 2. However, I knew the format and wanted to change it.”

Adding more spunk to it and taking a jibe on the ‘family’ concept of the film, he continued, “Therefore, I have added the flavour of Hum Aapke Hain Koun!”

While Anil Kapoor is the only actor retained by the previous installments, producer Ramesh Taurani has roped in Bobby Deol on Salman Khan’s recommendation.

Talking about it, Bobby Deol said, “Salman was my angel, he caught me at the right time when I was focussing on myself. I’m happy to be here to see myself in 3d. Working with Ramesh ji just again. I’m happy to be a part of Race. I’ve never seen so many people before in front of me.”

Bobby Deol and Ramesh Taurani have earlier worked in the 2007 thriller film, Naqaab.

Actress Jacqueline Fernandez, Daisy Shah and Saqib Saleem will be seen packing some punches in this action bonanza.

Produced by Salman Khan Films and Ramesh Taurani, helmed by Removing D’souza, the Eid treat will be out on June 15, 2018.

Promo of the Salman Khan starrer Race 3 will have a lot of high-octane fight sequences

The anticipation around Race 3 trailer, which will be unveiled today, is but natural. It has been learnt that the promo of the Salman Khan starrer will be dominated by action sequences. Says a source, “It was decided by Salman and the makers that the trailer will include high-octane fight sequences. It was only after Salman gave a thumbs up to the cut shown to him last week that the makers decide to launch the trailer today.”

The source adds that Salman Khan has picked the pivotal scenes shot during each schedule. “Salman and Jacqueline shot a chase sequence in the forests of Thailand. While the sequence has made the cut, the promo also offers sneak peeks into the stunts that were shot in Abu Dhabi and Mumbai.” Producer Ramesh Taurani says, “It’s a superb trailer, you’ll see Salman in a never-seen-before avatar.”

Race 3: Salman Khan to don 45 custom-made tuxedos in the film

Salman Khan’s Race 3, which is one of the most anticipated films of 2018 will have the actor in 45 different custom-made tuxedos. Like the first two films, this one also boasts of high octane action sequences. While some of the action scenes were shot in Mumbai, the ensemble cast also travelled to Abu Dhabi for other key portions.

What’s interesting to note is that Salman will be donning 45 custom-made tuxedos through the length of the film and even during the action scenes. In fact, the poster of the film featuring Salman showcases him with his suit jacket slung over his shoulder.

Salman Khan will be seen in a stylish avatar in the film and his attire is pivotal to his onscreen persona. However, the franchise requires Salman to perform high octane action as well. So, nearly 45 custom made suits were designed keeping in mind the requirements of his character in the film.

The actor just warned fans as he shared Bobby Deol and Jacqueline Fernandez’s poster on Monday. We wonder what the mystery behind the new still is all about? We are sure like us you too must be thinking – Who is Jacqueline romancing in Race 3?

The action thriller will feature the blockbuster pair of Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez for the second time after the success of Kick.

Race 3’s trailer is one of the most awaited trailers on 2018 as Salman will be seen in an action avatar yet again.

Starring an ensemble cast of Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Saquib Saleem and Daisy Shah, the action thriller is undoubtedly one of the most awaited films.

Produced by Salman Khan Films and Ramesh Taurani under the banner of Tips Films, Race 3 is directed by Remo D’souza and will hit theatres on Eid 2018.

Priyanka Chopra recently set tongues wagging with her recent Instagram post. Dressed in a pale blue skirt suit, Priyanka looked absolutly stunning. The actress, who recently visited Assam, flew to New York and jumped straight into her the promotions of her television show, Quantico’s is defintely dressed to kill.

Priyanka Chopra posted a few pictures of herself on Instagram and her fans couldn’t get enough of her. Styled beautifully, PeeCee wore the suit with straightened hair, white heels and a matching bag, making her looks every bit a ‘Boss Lady’.

On the work front, Priyanka will be seen alongside Salman Khanin the film Bharat. Salman Khan’s decision to team up with PeeCee has raised eyebrows. The two had a fallout during Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004). Later, PeeCee refused to work in Sohail Khan’s production Main Aur Mrs Khanna (2009). In 2011, Sohail had excluded her from his guest list for a party hosted by him during an awards gala. As they say, there are no permanent enemies or friends in Bollywood.

On joining the Bharat family, Priyanka Chopra shares, “Bharat it is! I’m looking forward to begin shooting this film and working with Salman Khan and Ali again after a considerable time. Ali Abbas Zafar and producer, Atul Agnihotri travelled to New York to meet Priyanka and gave her the narration of the film. Priyanka loved Ali’s script and she was convinced immediately to do the film. Salman and Priyanka will be teaming up after 10 years making the association all the more special. Atul Agnihotri who is collaborating with Priyanka for the first time shares, “We are all very happy to welcome Priyanka to the Bharat family. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better than her to play this role.”

Busy with concert prep, rumours suggest Salman Khan has opted out of special track for Katrina Kaif’s sister’s debut film

Salman Khan was rumoured to feature in a special dance number for Isabelle Kaif’s debut film, Time To Dance. However, it has been learnt that the superstar has decided to sit it out.

The Stanley D’Costa-directed movie will see Kaif as a ballroom dancer to Sooraj Pancholi’s street dancer. A source reveals, “The protagonists will be seen performing various dance styles including waltz and Tango.”

“Salman is not comfortable with these dance forms. Also, he wants to focus on his Da-Bangg Tour, and then, Bharat. Since the movie will demand most of his time, Salman decided to bow out of the commitment.” Khan’s team remained unavailable for comment.

Salman Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and ‘Race 3’ team head to Leh on bikes

The cast of ‘ Race 3’ has just wrapped up their two-day Kashmir schedule and have headed to Leh and Ladakh for their next segment. Reports suggest that Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez along with director Remo D’souza and the team wrapped up the Sonamarg schedule and left for Leh on motorcycles.

While Salman and Jacqueline paired up for the long ride, producer Ramesh Taurani and director Remo D’souza were joined by other m embers of the crew. Of the nine bikes, five were high-end ones which the team reportedly brought down from Mumbai.

Jacqueline documented moments from her enjoyable day in videos that she later shared online. The clips not only give fans a peek at some of the breathtaking locals but also at the lead stars’ cute antics while riding down the winding roads.

It is not all work and no play for the team. Reports state that before zooming off, Jacqueline visited a few exotic places in Sonamarg and rode snow bikes to Zero Point. The cast and crew were in Kashmir to shoot a song which is reportedly a last-minute addition to the film.

2002 hit and run case: Mumbai court cancels bailable warrant against Salman Khan

A Mumbai court on Saturday cancelled the bailable warrant against Bollywood actor Salman Khan in connection with 2002 hit and run case. The bailable warrant was cancelled after Salman’s bodyguard Shera stood as his surety.

Last week, the court issued a bailable warrant against Salman as he did not complete the procedure of providing surety on the past two dates. However, the bailable warrant stayed later after the lawyer had assured that the actor would complete the procedure.

On October last year, the Supreme Court heard the plea filed by the Maharashtra government, challenging the acquittal of Salman in regard to the case. In December 2015, the Bombay High Court acquitted Khan of all criminal charges on account of lack of substantial evidence in the case.

The Bollywood actor is accused of running his Toyota Land Cruiser over people sleeping on a sidewalk outside a bakery in Mumbai’s Bandra on September 28, 2002. One labourer died, while four others were injured in the accident.

Actor-comedian Sunil Grover is set to star alongside Salman Khan in his upcoming film “Bharat”. The film, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, features Priyanka Chopra as the female lead. Grover, who was last seen on the big screen in 2016 film “Baaghi”, will play a pivotal role in “Bharat”.

“I am very excited to welcome Sunil Grover to the ‘Bharat’ family. Sunil Grover is one of the most loved names in the Television industry, he has an immense fan following owing to his commendable work. ‘Bharat’ has him playing a very pivotal part in the film and he along with Salman Khan is sure to create magic on screen,” Ali said in a statement.

“Bharat” is an official adaptation of 2014 South Korean film, “Ode to My Father” which depicted modern Korean history from the 1950s to the present day through the life of an ordinary man and events such as the Hungnam Evacuation during the 1950 Korean War, the government’s decision to dispatch nurses and miners to West Germany in the ’60s and the Vietnam War. Produced by Atul Agnihotri’s Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series the film is scheduled to release on Eid 2019.

Sunil Grover is on a roll in the television world and has earned a considerable fan following for himself. Now, if reports are to be believed, the ace comedian has been roped in for a major Bollywood film.

Reportedly, Sunil, who has joined the cast recently, will be playing Salman’s friend in the film and his role will veer away from the conventional comedic role seen in most B-town films.

Of course, working in films is not very new for Sunil as he has been a part of movies like ‘Ghajini’, ‘Gabbar is Back’, ‘Baaghi’ among many others.

Reports also suggest that the team will shoot for a couple of scenes and a few portions of the ‘Allah Duhai Hai’ song in Kashmir. ‘Race 3’ is all set for an Eid release on June 15, 2018.On the other hand, Salman Khan is also lined up with ‘Bharat’ opposite Priyanka Chopra. The film will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and it is an official adaptation of a South Korean film titled ‘Ode To My Father’. Produced by Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, ‘Bharat’ will hit the screens on Eid 2019.
