‘Avengers: Infinity War’ was nothing short of a masterpiece. It has grossed more than $2 billion at the box office and a sizeable chunk of that money may just be because of people watching the movie more than once.

But, even after watching what is being touted as ‘the largest crossover event in history’ twice, there are certainly going to be a few things you still don’t get. If you consider yourself an expert on the Marvel Cinematic Universe here’s a test of your knowledge. How many of these things did you notice about ‘Avengers: Infinity War?’ It took us multiple viewings to notice them:

Dr. Strange’s sword

'Avengers: Infinity War' Facts You'll Eventually Realise© Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

Yes, the Sorcerer Supreme doesn’t just rely on the mystic arts. While there have been multiple occasions in the comics when Dr. Strange has relied on weapons, this is the first time we got to see him rely on one in the MCU. Albeit a magical sword, at the very least, it’s a nod to the Strange of the comics for sure.

There are so many things happening on screen when Iron Man, Spider-Man, the Guardians Of The Galaxy and Dr. Strange are taking on Thanos on his home planet of Titan. But, if you pay close attention, you’ll notice the sword in Strange’s hand while taking on Thanos.

The Chitauri

'Avengers: Infinity War' Facts You'll Eventually Realise© Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

Yes, the Chitauri were in ‘Avengers: Infinity War.’ No, there were no flashbacks of the Battle of New York which you missed. There was no extra end-credit scene you forgot to watch.

Remember the flashback when Thanos met Gamora for the first time? He had ordered the massacre of half the people on her home planet of Zen-Whoberi. Who were those soldiers who did the killing? Yeah, they were the Chitauri. It’s a nice way of tying in with the events of the ‘Avengers’. The Chitauri are Thanos’ army and while they’re all dead in the present, there’s no doubt over whose command they were under.

Gamora isn’t dead

'Avengers: Infinity War' Facts You'll Eventually Realise© Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

Okay, this is a little complicated, so keep track. The Soul Stone was the one Infinity Stone we hadn’t heard or seen in the MCU till ‘Avengers: Infinity War.’ While Gamora seemed to know about it all along, it’s only now that we, the viewer, got to know about its existence and location.

Thanos had to sacrifice the person he loved the most, i.e., Gamora, in order to get the Soul Stone. Everyone thought that was the end of Gamora. But, on closer inspection, we realised that Gamora is actually trapped in the Soul World. She isn’t dead. We even got to see her at the end when Thanos snaps his finger and enters the ethereal plane briefly. Remember?

Vision isn’t dead

'Avengers: Infinity War' Facts You'll Eventually Realise© Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

The only superhero to die twice in ‘Avengers: Infinity War,’ there may just be something you’ve missed when it comes to this android’s death. First, Scarlet Witch kills him to prevent Thanos from getting the Mind Stone, then Thanos turns back time and kills him while also getting his hands on the Mind Stone.

But, if you remember the time in Shuri’s lab, Wakanda’s Head of Science & Information Exchange pushed some buttons just before Corvus Glaive attacked her and Vision. Shuri had already been working on separating Vision from the Mind Stone. Maybe she succeeded? Vision has proven to be quite strong in previous movies and was a shadow of his former self while taking on the Black Order and Thanos in Wakanda. Yes, he was beaten but maybe it’s because Shuri was able to extract a part of him?

Everyone who disintegrated isn’t dead

'Avengers: Infinity War' Facts You'll Eventually Realise© Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

How can we make such an assumption? Well, we have a pretty good reason actually. Remember when Dr. Strange looked through some 14 million different possibilities and found only one in which they could defeat Thanos? We’re guessing that’s the plan they decided to stick with. I mean, why wouldn’t they? Before disintegrating, you’ll remember Strange’s last words to Stark, “there was no other way.” That pretty much means Strange has already set the one possible way to defeat Thanos in motion.

'Avengers: Infinity War' Facts You'll Eventually Realise© Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

It goes without saying that disintegration was a part of Strange’s plan. He knew that was going to be the first thing Thanos did when he got all the Infinity Stones, right? But, he can’t be dead. Why? We’ll have to go back to ‘Doctor Strange’ to answer that. Remember when the Ancient One was dying? Remember what she tells Strange? “I spent so many years peering through time… looking at this exact moment. But I can’t see past it.” She’s basically telling Strange that they can’t use the Time Stone to look past their own deaths. So, that pretty much means, Dr. Strange isn’t dead. Could it be that they have all gone to the Soul World? We’ll have to wait till 3rd May 2019 to find out.

‘Avengers: Infinity War’ is the highest earning Marvel movie till date and ‘Avengers 4’ is most probably going to break this record when it releases on 3rd May 2019. But, for people who can’t wait for almost a year to find out how all (or should I say remaining) of their favourite superheroes come together and defeat Thanos, ‘Deadpool 2’ offers some respite.

It goes without saying that there are going to be spoilers for both the movies below. So if you haven’t watched either, head to the cinema then come back and read on.

Now, let me ask you a question. What’s the plot of ‘Deadpool 2?’ Deadpool avenging his dead girlfriend? That’s a subplot at best. The plot of the movie revolves around Cable traveling back in time, to the present day, so he can kill Russell Collins before he turns evil. Pretty straightforward. Just how a comic book movie should be.

But, without knowing it, the movie may just have ended up giving the biggest spoiler for ‘Avengers 4’ yet. What is it? Read on to find out.

Remember the scene when Cable is standing over the burnt bodies of his wife and child? He picks up his daughter’s teddy bear then turns his time-travel watch a few times before vanishing into thin air. Next thing we know, he’s in a field somewhere in the present day.

The next time we see Cable use the watch is at the end of the movie when, instead of going forward in time so he can be with his family, he goes back once more to save Deadpool. Quite the sacrifice wouldn’t you say?

If you haven’t guessed as yet, the focus here is on the time traveling watch that Cable (and later Deadpool) was wearing. It is an integral part of ‘Deadpool 2.’ But, little did we know that it was going to be an integral part of ‘Avengers 4.’ Don’t believe me? Just take a look at this picture from the sets of ‘Avengers 4.’

'Deadpool 2' May Have Leaked The Plot Of 'Avengers 4'© Twitter

There are two things worth noticing here. First, Captain America is wearing what looks like his suit from the first Avengers movie. Second, notice what’s on his left hand. It looks like a timepiece. Hell, it looks awfully similar to… mind blown!

'Deadpool 2' May Have Leaked The Plot Of 'Avengers 4'© Twitter

He’s not the only Avenger who’s wearing this time traveling device. Iron Man and Ant-Man have been spotted wearing the same timepiece too.

Now, compare these timepieces with the one Cable was using in ‘Deadpool 2.’

Putting two and two together, we are pretty sure that the remaining Avengers are going to go back in time in ‘Avengers 4’ in order to save the day.

This is the theory with the most meat, and as much as we would like to believe the Russo brothers are fooling us by letting out such an obvious spoiler, the chances of it being nothing more than a lead on, are slim.

Hold your horses. We’re not done yet. Before you head to the comments to vent your frustration on how much I “don’t know about the Marvel Cinematic Universe” and what a “shitty writer” I am, let me tell you that this is my opinion and you have every right to disagree.

For those of you who believe this theory to be true, here are a couple of ways things could go in ‘Avengers 4’ based on what we know and the photos that have been released from the sets.

'Deadpool 2' May Have Leaked The Plot Of 'Avengers 4'© Twitter

Theory 1

This is the more obvious one, given what we’ve just read. The superheroes, who survived Thanos’ dreaded finger snap, go back in time using the time traveling watches to defeat Thanos before he becomes all powerful.

The only problem with this theory is that, if it turns out to be true, it takes out the very essence of ‘Avengers: Infinity War.’ That movie would end up being nothing but a filler. It would be the longest con ever pulled by a production house on the audience.

Before you start complaining about how I’m stupid to say this, because every movie has consequences and if everyone is saved in ‘Avengers 4’, it doesn’t mean ‘Avengers 3’ was pointless, hear me out.

I am not saying that ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ would be a waste of time if ‘Avengers 4’ fixed everything. What I mean to say is, if ‘Avengers 4’ undoes everything that happened in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ it will be like a master reset on everything we’ve seen since ‘Avengers’, and that wouldn’t be fair to the movie-going audience.

You only reset a timeline when everyone complains about the original movies (ala X-Men). But, when everyone loves every single movie you’ve made, you can’t take yourself out of a jam by resetting the entire timeline. This is not the kind of ending that would give us satisfaction. So no, I’m not saying it’s not been done in the past, I’m saying I expect more from Marvel.

'Deadpool 2' May Have Leaked The Plot Of 'Avengers 4'© Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures

Theory 2

This brings us to theory number two. Here, all the scenes we’re seeing from the Battle of New York are nothing more than BARF (Binarily Augmented Retro-Framing) enabled recreations that the remaining Avengers are using, to figure out where they went wrong and how they can defeat Thanos. If you don’t remember what BARF is, we recommend watching ‘Captain America: Civil War’ again.

The movie may not have time travel in it, but it will feature a time jump. It will take us years into the future, so that we can see the effect of Thanos’ finger snap over time. Was it actually as good for the universe as he claimed it would be? Did the remaining people actually benefit from this move?

It’s quite a serious direction to take a comic book movie in, but hey, most of the MCU audience are adults by now, right? We can handle it.

Also, with the remaining superheroes not racing against the clock to defeat Thanos, it might open up the possibility of some character development. There’s always room for that isn’t there?

On a closing note, if rumours are to be believed and ‘Avengers 4’ really is the last time we’re going to see Chris Evans or Robert Downey Jr., we’d like for them to have as much screen time as possible. Don’t agree? Follow the author on Instagram or chat with him on Twitter about what you think is going to happen in ‘Avengers 4.’

The Brits are known for many things around the world. But today, the focus is only going to be on the way they celebrate weddings. While yes, it is the Prince of England getting married, this event is a very rare occasion, there’s no reason to believe all Brits don’t get married like this. We got to see a Prince of England get married in 2011 and we’re getting round two just 7 years later. Surely we won’t get anymore in our lifetime so let’s make the most of this one. Here are 9 pictures which justify why this is the most watched wedding in the world:

It’s not often George Clooney makes a public appearance. He’s more than happy keeping his handsomeness to himself (and sharing some with his wife perhaps). But, George and Amal didn’t just show up for the Royal Wedding, they gave us all hope. Hope that our looks can improve as we grow older.

David Beckham has worn many suits in his life. He’s also considered one of the most stylish Brits in the world. Hell, he may just be the best-dressed man in the world. It’s hard when you’re the best-dressed everywhere you go. Well, at least he’s trying not to steal the show this time round. It’s not easy, though!

Okay, the Prince of England is getting married. They call him the most eligible bachelor in England. There’s good reason too. Can you imagine what your life would be like if you were the Prince of England? Well, he may be used to it by now but his wife-to-be certainly isn’t. Here’s the man Meghan Markle is marrying. Don’t tell us there aren’t a million girls who would kill to take Meghan’s place.

It makes sense that, after the groom, we’d move on to the bride. What a beautiful bride Meghan is. We saw her get married on ‘Suits’ but who would have thought we’d be seeing her getting married in real life just a few years later? Yes, celebrities get married all the time. But, is the whole world watching when they do?

If you follow ‘Suits’ you’d know that Meghan Markle is romantically involved with Patrick J. Adams in the show. Although they’ve both left the show recently (isn’t it obvious, now that she’s Royalty), they are still in touch. How do we know? The entire cast was invited for the wedding. Boy did they show up!

Tom Hardy is known to be fully invested in any movie he is acting in. He has gone through numerous physical changes over the years for a role. During this time, he rarely makes any public appearances. But, even Hardy couldn’t risk skipping the Royal Wedding. You wouldn’t want to piss off your Queen, after all.

There’s at least one grumpy old man at every wedding. But, when it’s a Royal Wedding, even the grumpy old man is more popular than all of us combined. Sir Elton John, in the kind of glasses that only he could pull off. For your viewing pleasure.

On to a woman who’s hard to ignore. She’s an international superstar. She’s our very own, Priyanka Chopra. Best friend of the bride? One of the best friends for sure. She’s Bollywood Royalty for sure.

We’re going to end with a bang. It’s not often we talk about the Queen of England at MensXP. But, when her grandson is getting married, she deserves a mention too. She’s 92-years-old. Can you believe that? Even at that age, she chooses one of the most outrageous colours for a Royal Wedding. Then again, can anyone really say anything to the Queen?

Spoilers ahead. You have been warned.

‘Deadpool 2’ is one of those movies that is loaded with pop-culture references for both young and old. Some may argue that with so many references crammed into a 2 hour film, it can get a tad bit boring or even irritating. Ignore these idiots. We love when a movie shouts out to another (both good and bad).

There are countless references in this movie and to try and list all of them out here would be painstakingly difficult. So, I’m just going to stick to some of the obscure ones which you surely missed. Here are 9 pop-culture references from ‘Deadpool 2’ you definitely missed:

Barbra Streisand

Okay, starting off with a huge one. Why are there so many ‘Yentl’ references throughout the movie? ‘Papa Can You Hear Me’ is mentioned on multiple occasions and in one scene the movie is playing in the background. That’s all I can remember. But, why? Simple answer: Josh Brolin is Streisand’s step-son. Could it really be that simple? I hope not. Then again, this is Deadpool, so you never know.

John Wick

A subtle reference. In fact, you’d have to be paying close attention to spot this one. It appears in the credit sequence.

'Deadpool 2' References You Missed© Summit Entertainment

‘One of the men who killed John Wick’s dog.’ Missed it? Sit through the movie again and pay close attention during the credits this time.

Cure for blindness

When Deadpool is rummaging under the floorboard for some cocaine you see a small sack labeled, cure for blindness. This might seem like a fun joke considering Al is, you know, blind. But, it’s actually a call back to the first movie when Deadpool tells Al that he’s hidden 1,600 kilos of cocaine and the cure for blindness somewhere in her apartment.

All the X-Men

Yeah, this was one of those blink and you miss it cameos. Deadpool was busy complaining about why none of the popular X-Men are ever in the mansion and he only gets Colossus and Negasonic Teenage Warhead when you cut to a shot of all the X-Men sitting in a room. They close the door on him, of course. That’s Professor X, Quicksilver, Cyclops, Beast, Storm and Nightcrawler who made an appearance in this film apart from the Wolverine.

Essex House

This is the second time the word ‘Essex’ has shown up in the X-Men Universe. You might remember the guy with a suitcase that said Essex Corp. in ‘X-Men: Apocalypse.’ Here, we get to see Essex House. Now we know for sure that Mr. Sinister exists in this universe. Will we get to see the supervillain in ‘Dark Phoenix?’

Matt Damon

Everyone spotted Brad Pitt as The Vanisher in ‘Deadpool 2.’ Yup, it was a blink and you miss it cameo once again, but that was Brad Pitt’s face you saw for a brief second. But, did you know there was a Matt Damon cameo in the movie too? Yes, this is the second superhero movie Damon has cameoed in after ‘Thor: Ragnarok.’ Where was he? Remember the two rednecks having a chat in the field when Cable arrives in the present day? Yeah, that fat guy was Matt Damon! Woah!

Thanos

We’re all aware that Josh Brolin is playing both Thanos and Cable in Marvel movies. Yes, it’s not the same movie universe but it’s unprecedented for the same actor to play two major characters in different superhero franchises at the same time.

'Deadpool 2' References You Missed© Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures-20th Century Fox

At least I can’t think of anyone else. But in trademark Deadpool fashion, the merc with a mouth calls Cable Thanos at one point. To his face.

X-Force Costume

In the final fight, Deadpool’s costume gets scorched by Firefist. It subsequently has a burnt/black look. No, this isn’t just a cool new look for him. This is a nod to his X-Force costume from the comics.

Everything in the end credits

If you haven’t kept up with superhero movies over the last decade or so, you might not understand what’s going on here. Deadpool gets Cable’s time travel device working again and leaves immediately to fix the timeline. How? First off, he kills the abomination that was Deadpool in ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine.’ Next up, he goes straight for Ryan Reynolds and shoots him in the head right before he’s about to open the script for ‘Green Lantern.’ Yeah, Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) just killed himself. Talk about meta!

There are some movies we just can’t afford to miss. For example, ‘Deadpool 2’ is releasing tomorrow and there’s no way I’m missing that one. I’m pretty sure most of you are going to see it too, be it in Punjabi, English or Hindi. But, ‘Deadpool 2’ isn’t the only movie I’m looking forward to this year. I was looking forward to ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and that didn’t let me down one bit.

So, here are 19 other movies I’m looking forward to this year. They’re listed according to their release date. Also, these dates are tentative and may change:

1. ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’ (23rd May 2018)

In 1977, the world was introduced to the charismatic Han Solo in ‘Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope.’ It’s been more than 40 years and people still can’t get over a young, good-looking Harrison Ford. With Aiden Ehrenreich set to play the main man, we’re really excited to see how audiences will react to the young Han Solo of the 21st century. One more thing, Chewbacca’s in it too.

2. ‘Ocean’s 8’ (07th June 2018)

Let me just go ahead and say it, ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ was a masterpiece. I’m talking about the George Clooney and Brad Pitt starrer. I’ve watched it so many times I’ve lost count. So, it goes without saying that I was pretty bummed when I heard they were remaking it. But, then I remembered that the film I loved was a remake too. So, there is hope for this one. With a cast that includes the likes of Sandra Bullock, Anne Hathaway, Cate Blanchett and Helena Bonham Carter you can expect something awesome.

3. ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ (07th June 2018)

Okay, the first ‘Jurassic World’ movie was a surprise hit. Pretty much how ‘Jurassic Park’ turned out to be a blockbuster in its time, the movie was a delight and managed to become one of the highest earning movies of all time. Whether it was because of the Chris Pratt brand or because people just love watching dinosaurs eat people, ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ looks like it will be another summer blockbuster. Oh, I almost forgot, Jeff Goldblum is returning for this one. WIN!

4. ‘The Incredibles 2’ (14th June 2018)

Okay, a 14-year wait is not unheard of… if you’re waiting to be released from prison! But, waiting for a sequel for 14 years? Let’s just remember that the target audience of ‘The Incredibles’ is well into their 20’s right now. Or maybe that was the master plan. Get another generation of kids hooked while the previous generation still can’t get enough. This may just end up being the highest earning animated feature ever.

5. ‘Sicario: Day Of The Soldado’ (29th June 2018)

Okay, this is one of the three films on this list which may not get huge, international releases but are definitely worth a watch. If you’ve seen ‘Sicario,’ I don’t need to justify myself. If you haven’t, I have 6 words for you: Josh Brolin & Benicio Del Toro. I really can’t put how good the first film was into words. You should watch it before this one releases. Although, I’m not sure whether it will come to Indian cinemas.

6. ‘The Purge 4: The First Purge’ (04th July 2018)

This is number two of the three films that I would recommend you to watch, even though they aren’t going to get international releases. If you’ve kept track of the ‘Purge’ series, you’ll already know what to expect. One day in the year where all crime is legal. It’s set in a truly dystopian future. But, given the way the world is today, would it be all that bad? This is the question the series will make you ask. Now’s the perfect time to get into it because ‘The First Purge’ is actually a prequel. So, you can watch them in order.

7. ‘Ant-Man & The Wasp’ (05th July 2018)

I’m sure I don’t need to tell you guys that this is a must watch. It’s a Marvel movie? We’re all going to watch it. We missed Ant-Man and Hawkeye in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ and this movie will definitely tell us where Ant-Man was while Thanos was trying to destroy half the universe. We might also get to know about Hawkeye’s whereabouts. So, don’t skip it.

8. ‘Skyscraper’ (12th July 2018)

When The Rock (or should I say Dwayne Johnson?) makes a movie, you have to watch it. Why? Well, it’s The Rock, that’s why. I have no idea what ‘Skyscraper’ is about but I am getting a ‘Die Hard’ vibe from what I’ve seen so far. Does this mean it’s going to fail miserably at the box office? Does this mean I won’t go see it? Of course not!

9. ‘The Equalizer 2’ (20th July 2018)

It’s not often that Denzel Washington returns for a sequel. Wait, scratch that. Denzel Washington has never made a sequel. If that’s not a testament to just how good ‘The Equalizer 2’ is going to be, then I don’t know what is. If you haven’t seen the first one yet, you must. This is the third movie I snuck into this list even though the chances of it getting an international release are slim. But, I know it’s going to be awesome.

10. Mission: Impossible Fallout (26th July 2018)

Tom Cruise, high-flying stunts, crazy storyline. Seems impossible how these movies are still making millions, right? Well, with the re-invented ‘Mission: Impossible’ story arc that we’ve got over the last 2 movies, it’s safe to say, like the ‘Fast & Furious’ series, ‘Mission: Impossible’ is here to stay till Tom Cruise is grey and old.

10. ‘The Meg’ (10th August 2018)

They say once a movie becomes a blockbuster, everyone starts copying it. That’s what happened with ‘Jaws.’ No one thought a movie about a shark terrorizing fun-loving beachgoers was ever going to work. But, in the great mind of Steven Spielberg, that’s precisely why it was going to work. Well, more than 40 years later, we know it did and that’s why we can’t write off ‘The Meg’ just yet. Another reason for watching this movie… I hope Jason Statham fist fights the shark. Now, won’t that be awesome?

11. ‘The Predator’ (14th September 2018)

If you’re an Arnold Schwarzenegger fan, you’ve probably watched ‘Predator.’ The movie which proved Arnie was such a huge guy at the time they needed an alien just to make it look like Arnie might lose. Well, he didn’t and the movie gave birth to a number of sequels including a couple of crossovers with the ‘Alien’ franchise. Yes, they started sucking after the first one, but I have hope because Shane Black is returning to direct.

12. ‘Venom’ (04th October 2018)

While ‘Venom’ isn’t shaping up into the cool, good guy antihero that Deadpool is in the movies, we’re going to get a darker tale of what an antihero is supposed to be. Tom Hardy is a great casting and the first reveal of him as Venom was spine tingling. While this movie might not live up to expectations, I’m still going to watch it and so should you.

13. ‘Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald’ (16th November 2018)

For everyone who has ever watched a Harry Potter movie or has even the slightest interest in the ‘Harry Potter’ series, this is what J.K. Rowling has to offer this year. There was a chance that ‘Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them’ might fail since it didn’t have any main characters from ‘Harry Potter’ including the titular Harry Potter himself. But, it outperformed at the box-office and with a young Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore making an appearance in this one, it’s hard to believe it’s not going to be good.

14. ‘Robin Hood’ (21st November 2018)

There have been multiple adaptations of the ‘steal from the rich, give to the poor’ hero in the past. But, the one I most remember is the cartoon. The Russell Crowe one was so bad that I don’t even remember it. But, ‘Robin Hood’ looks like it has the perfect mix of fun and action. That’s why I’m going to watch it.

15. ‘Creed 2’ (21st November 2018)

Let’s admit it, the first ‘Creed’ movie was a masterpiece. Sylvester Stallone once again proved that when the chips are down and he’s producing flop after a flop, the ‘Rocky’ franchise will step in to save the day. ‘Creed 2’ (or Rocky 8) will docus on the career of Adonis Creed once more. Rocky will be there too. But, isn’t Michael B. Jordan’s acting talent enough reason to give this one a watch?

16. ‘Bumblebee’ (21st December 2018)

No matter how many shitty ‘Transformers’ movies they make, I’m still going to line-up to watch the next one with the hope that it will be better than all the rest. Honestly, it’s been all downhill ever since the first ‘Transformers’ movie. But, with Michael Bay nowhere in sight, this movie might just stand a chance. John Cena is in it too and while ‘Big Match John’ might not be the best actor, he’s a great entertainer. So, you never know…

There are no official trailers for the movie yet, so we’ll just have to wait and hope for the best.

17. ‘Aquaman’ (21st December 2018)

The last movie on this list is also the one I have the most expectation from. Being a DC fan, I want all their movies to earn billions. Unfortunately, that’s not how the box-office operates. With only one commercially successful film in the DCEU so far, a lot is riding on Aquaman to keep the franchise going. That’s a heavy burden to carry, but then, have you seen the size of Jason Momoa’s shoulders? Easy-peasy.

Again, no trailer for this one, so just keep your fingers crossed.

If you want to know what happens when I actually watch all these movies, follow me on Instagram. I’ll throw in some light-hearted laughs too every now and then.

Marvel is known for making excellent comic book movies. But, while we give them credit for a lot of things, not many talk about the awesome CGI in their movies. Yup, as much as some people would want to argue about how practical effects are way better than CGI, this list will prove that when CGI is done right, there’s no competition at all.

Let’s not waste any more time. Here are 4 of the best uses of CGI in the Marvel Cinematic Universe:

1. Steve Rogers (‘Captain America – The First Avenger’)

Where else were we going to start this list? It had to be here, right? If you remember ‘Captain America: The First Avenger,’ you probably remember pre-super soldier Steve Rogers. He was a puny man with a heart of gold and courage for miles.

But, since we don’t actually have a super soldier serum and there is no way Chris Evans can go from a skinny guy to a buff dude overnight, Marvel had to come up with some other way of showing an immense transformation.

This is where CGI came into the picture. Just look at what CGI did for Chris. It’s flawless too. Here’s the first time we really got to see that Marvel was not just into the storyline but into creating cinematic masterpieces as well.

Here’s how they went about the transformation:

2. Ultron (‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’)

It would have been very easy to mess up a villain made only from CGI (Steppenwolf anyone?). But, Marvel has always been ahead of the curve and there’s no way they were going to mess this up.

Apart from getting a brilliant actor (James Spader) to play Ultron, they also got a spectacular special effects team to turn the legend into one of the most expressive robots ever seen on the big screen.

Just take a look at this:

3. The Hulk (‘Avengers’, ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’, ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ & ‘Avengers: Infinity War’)

They have tried to make the Hulk look realistic in the past. I’m not going to say that ‘The Incredible Hulk’ or ‘Hulk’ are examples of bad CGI, but when you compare them with Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk there’s only one clear winner.

While the Hulk we saw in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’ was perhaps the best example of motion capture in movie making history (we could actually see Ruffalo’s face) it’s the first ‘Avengers’ movie which we’re going to be focusing on here. After all, that’s where it all began, right?

It’s a two-part video, so strap in:

4. Iron Man (‘Iron Man’, ‘Iron Man 2’, ‘Iron Man 3’, ‘Avengers’, ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, ‘Captain America: Civil War’)

Now, this is no easy task. First of all, Iron Man probably has the most screen time of all the CGI characters we’ve listed here and in the entire MCU as well. While Tony Stark hasn’t always been in his Iron Man suit, the times when he has, have been tough.

There’s a 27-minute documentary on this for crying out loud. There are no words which I can use to get across the amount of work that goes into making Iron Man.

So, why don’t you take a look instead:

A lot of us are still reeling from the tragic ending of ‘Avengers: Infinity War.’ How could Marvel do that to us??? Don’t worry, if you’re one of the select few who still haven’t gotten around to seeing the movie, we won’t be spoiling it for you here.

Even though ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ was probably the darkest Marvel movie to date, there’s no reason why the cast couldn’t have had a lot of fun during filming. Here’s a taste of what went on behind the scenes.

This is the closest thing we have to a blooper reel right now and while we’re sure they will release more behind the scenes footage over the next few months, this is the only thing we have to hang on to right now.

But, don’t worry, we’re not going to let you go without some laughs. No one is perfect and it’s pretty obvious that the actors would make some hilarious mistakes while shooting. Here’s a collection of multiple blooper reels from the past Marvel films.

If you aren’t laughing or haven’t at least cracked a smile after watching that, we apologise. Promise to try harder next time. 😀

Sonam ki shaadi is all over the internet right now. You can’t scroll through any form of social media without seeing something related to Mrs. Ahuja’s wedding. It only makes sense that the who’s who of Bollywood would be at the wedding. Yes, the internet is flooded with a lot of familiar faces.

But, we’re not going to be talking about those faces here. Instead, we’re going to talk exclusively about some faces we just couldn’t recognize. These gorgeous ladies might not have been the center of attention at Sonam ki shaadi but we’re pretty sure all eyes are on them everywhere else they go. They’re just so beautiful. Let’s begin:

5 Gorgeous Ladies We Didn't Recognize At Sonam Ki Shaadi Who Are Now Stuck In Our HeadsSource: Instagram

Let’s start off with a face that some people may recognise but most won’t, Swara Bhaskar. You probably remember her from the recent’Veere Di Wedding’ trailer. Well, this time around it’s not a movie. She’s at her actual ‘veere’ di wedding and she’s looking gorgeous. If you are one of those people who know the name Swara Bhaskar but have no idea what she looks like, here you go. Infact, gorgeous is an understatement. Just look at what Swara’s life looks like:

You have tea on your balcony? Swara has tea on the beach!

It’s like she’s perpetually getting ready for a wedding!

Moving on to lady number two…

Here are a couple of ladies who have stayed out of the limelight brilliantly. That’s his wife Maheep on the right and daughter Shanaya on the left. Although, you could very easily mistake Maheep for Shanaya’s sister. What they’re wearing is probably what every Indian man would want his bride to wear on their wedding night. Really, we’re having a hard time believing it was neither of them getting married.

On to number three…

Yeah, yeah, we all recognize the lady on the right. But, while most people would be able to guess that the woman on the left is Isabelle Kaif, if you saw her alone, we bet you wouldn’t have been able to. But right now, we’re going to make sure you never forget her.

Is this the stuff of dreams or nightmares? Either way, it sticks with you.

Okay, one face you’ll recognize in this for sure. That must mean the woman on the right is his wife and the one on the left his daughter. You’ve hit the nail on the head so far. The stunning damsel we’re talking about here is Athiya Shetty. She looks like she’s dressed to impress and that’s not something we’re going to complain about ever. She has a pretty active social media presence too with more followers than the rest of the ladies on this list combined. What does she post? Something like this:

What happens when we get two event invites for the same day? While some of us loners won’t know the feeling, for the more popular ones among us, it can be quite a pain. How do you make it for two events on the same day? It’s even harder if both events are on different ends of the city or maybe even in different cities.

This is exactly what the who’s who of India has to deal with right now. Two huge events happening at the same time, Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja’s wedding and Isha Ambani-Anand Piramal’s engagement. If you had to choose, which one would you go for? The Ambani’s engagement, of course. You have to appease one of the richest men in the world, right? Sonam will surely understand. If Anand was your bro, he would too.

Also, it’s not like you’re missing the wedding. Just the sangeet. That’s an event meant for uncles who want to go crazy on the dance floor. Given, uncles at the Sonam-Anand sangeet included the likes of Anil Kapoor, but still, it’s not reason enough to skip what’s possibly going to be the most expensive wedding of the year.

Here are 5 celebrities who feel the same way as you. Or maybe they weren’t invited for Sonam ki shaadi. Either way, they were at the most important event of last night, if not for everyone, at least for them:

Sachin Tendulkar

Isn’t it obvious Sachin would be here? Whenever Nita Ambani is at a Mumbai Indian’s match, Sachin Tendulkar is also there. He does have a lot of free time on his hands now that he’s retired from being the God of cricket. The two things he has in abundance right now are time and money. After decades of selfless service to the country, none of us have a right to question what he does with either, right?

Aamir Khan

The man has kept a low profile in Bollywood over the years but that’s what makes these appearances more special. Yes, Aamir Khan chose to come out in public last night for Isha Ambani’s engagement. Who knew there was a connection? Or maybe daddy Mukesh just paid for his presence? Either way, he’s not one to shy away from the paparazzi as seen below.

Ranbir Kapoor

For the second day in a row, Ranbir Kapoor has skipped Sonam ki shaadi. He wasn’t there on Sunday and wasn’t there yesterday either. Then again, most of us would feel the same way about going for our ex’s wedding, right? We’re not even sure if he was invited. Yes, we all say that we’re over past relationships but, are we really? Would you want to hang around with your ex? Would you want them at your wedding?

Shah Rukh Khan

Unlike Aamir, this man really doesn’t like being clicked by the shutterbugs. Or at least that’s the feeling we’re getting considering how it’s so hard to get a decent picture from the event. This is the best we could find:

It’s like SRK doesn’t want anyone to know he was at a rival IPL team owners daughter’s wedding. But, there’s no way the paparazzi would miss King Khan. We managed to get a pretty decent video of him:

Karan Johar

Wherever SRK goes, Karan Johar isn’t far behind. Or maybe it’s the other way around. We don’t know for sure. The one thing we do know is he doesn’t need the photographers because he’s cool like a millennial. So, selfies are the way to go for this father of two.

While most of Bollywood and the country is busy talking about the Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja wedding, Ranbir Kapoor didn’t seem to care much about his rumored ex’s Mehendi. He thought we wouldn’t notice. But, when you wear a pink sweatshirt and a Barcelona cap, it’s hard not to be noticed.

Alia Bhatt, on the other hand, looks more than happy to be clicked with Ranbir. Or maybe her film, ‘Raazi’, got really positive reviews at the screening and that’s why she can’t stop smiling.

There have been rumors of the two being a ‘thing’ in Bollywood and as much as they try to sweep, all the time they’re spending, under the rug using ‘Brahmastra,’ a movie they’re co-starring in, it’s pretty obvious what’s going on here. The two are wearing the same colour for crying out loud. Does anything scream “couple” more?

Ranbir Kapoor was listed as a ‘special guest’ for the screening and even though ‘Sanju’  isn’t slated for release till 29th June, it’s never a bad time for some publicity right? Although we doubt we’d ever see Sanjay Dutt in a pink sweatshirt.

There’s been a lot of buzz around ‘Raazi’ in recent weeks and it’s shaping up into something most moviegoers might just watch. That is, if ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ stops its monopoly (pretty much) on box office collections in India. Plus, ‘Deadpool 2’ releases next week so ‘Raazi’ will really only have one week to shine. Let’s hope it makes the most of it.

No, there aren’t two different audiences for both movies. Hollywood has managed to capitalize on the Hindi speaking audience too nowadays. The Hindi version of ‘Deadpool 2’ has roped in Ranveer Singh for the voiceover. Why would 20th Century Fox care as much if they didn’t want to capture a huge chunk of the Hindi speaking audience?

Back to Ranbir. We’ve spotted him with Alia on numerous occasions in the past and the only thing on our mind is, what’s the excuse going to be once ‘Brahmastra’ releases and they don’t have a professional obligation to be seen in public together anymore? Maybe Ranbir will go for something a little more subtle than bright pink?
