Bigg Boss 11 contestants confirmed: Haseena Parkar's son-in-law to enter house

After a grand launch of ‘Bigg Boss 11’ by Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in Mumbai on Tuesday, makers of the controversial reality TV show have revealed the names of the four commoners who will be entering the house as contestants. Channel Colors TV’s Twitter account posted a video that revealed the identities of the four commoners who will be taking part in the show. Mumbai’s dreaded don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar’s son-in-law and producer of Shraddha Kapoor-starrer ‘Haseena Parkar’, Zubair Khan, is one of the commoners and has caught fans’ attention for his D-connection.

The 11th season of ‘Bigg Boss’ is all set to begin from October 1 and fans can’t keep calm. The list of commoners is officially out and the first four contestants from the list have been disclosed in a video shared by the channel.

Meet the four commoners in ‘Bigg Boss’ house:

1. Zubair Khan
Zubair Khan has co-produced Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor’s film ‘Haseena Parkar’. But, he has a real-life D-connection too! Zubair Khan is Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar’s real life son-in-law.

2. Jyoti Kumari
Jyoti Kumari is a peon’s daughter who is a student of Hans Raj College in Delhi. She hails from Patna in Bihar.

3. Shivani Durgah
Shivani Durgah is a self-proclaimed godwoman who hails from Noida. She reportedly holds two PhDs from Chicago University. Will she follow self-proclaimed godman Om Swami’s footsteps? Fans will have to wait and watch!

4. Sapna Choudhary
Sapna Choudhary is a singer and dancer who hails from Haryana

The principal photography of the film began in February 2016 and the shooting started on 11 October 2016.The film is based on Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena Parkar. The film marks Shraddha Kapoor’s first female protagonist venture as she is essaying the title role.Kapoor’s real brother, Siddhanth Kapoor portrays the role of Dawood Ibrahim, and Ankur Bhatia plays the role of Haseena’s husband.

After charming us with their striking chemistry in Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Piku’, actors Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan are now coming together for Vishal Bhardwaj’s next movie which will be directed by Honey Trehan. For all those fans who were eagerly hoping for them to romance each other in ‘Piku’, their wishes might just come true as the reports state that Deepika will play a mafia queen and Irrfan will be a local gangster in love with her. The shoot is expecting to begin early next year and is apparently based on investigative journalist-turned-author S Hussain Zaidi’s book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. Deepika will play the role of female gangster Rahima Khan aka Sapna Didi who had apparently planned Dawood Ibrahim’s execution to avenge her husband Mehmood Kaliya’ death.

According to a report published in Mumbai Mirror, a source revealed that “The team had been meaning to meet for a while now. Since Deepika wasn’t shooting for ‘Padmavati’ and Irrfan is in town, they decided to gather on Tuesday to discuss the script, how their characters would shape up and their looks.” Talking about the movie, Trehan said in an interview, “Deepika and Irrfan are the final leads of the film. However, right now it is too early to talk about anything else about the film. And about casting the two of course you choose an actor or actors, because they will be able to portray the roles well, and do justice to their characters. That’s the same rule for every film and a case for every filmmaker.”

Earlier we saw Deepika fight with swords as the badass Mastani in ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and have already seen her badass avatar in ‘xXx: Return Of The Xander Cage’. This time around, she will reportedly be learning how to wield a gun, after the wrap-up of shoot for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati. Irrfan, on the other hand, will start training and will be performing his own stunts. Irrfan is currently working on his upcoming project alongside Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar.

It’s exciting to see how Bollywood is gradually shifting towards throwing light on the lives of female gangsters. While, Deepika will place herself in the shoes of Sapna Didi, actress Shraddha Kapoor has already proved her mettle in the trailer of ‘Haseena Parker’. She will play the role of Dawood Ibrahim’s sister and her brother Sidhant Kapoor will play Dawood in the movie.

Shraddha Kapoor starrer-‘Haseena Parkar’, based on underworld don Dawood Ibrahim’s sister Haseena, which was scheduled to release on August 18, has now reportedly been pushed to September 22 to avoid clutter.

According to reports, a statement issued on behalf of the producers read, “The makers wanted to get a better release date as there has been a lot of hard work, research and thought put behind each and every scene of the movie”.

“As a director, it is very important for me to ensure that the film reaches out to the maximum audience as it takes a lot of patience and perseverance to make a film on a subject like this. We are all set to release on September 22 and hope the audience loves it as much as we loved working on it,” Lakhia said.

Produced by Nahid Khan, ‘Haseena Parkar’ also stars Shraddha’s brother Siddhanth Kapoor, who will portray the role of Dawood Ibrahim, while Ankur Bhatia will essay Haseena’s husband Ibrahim Parkar.

The actress will be seen playing the role of a sister to her real life brother, Sidhant Kapoor. She looks fierce and nails the role like a complete badass.

Her brother, who is essaying the role of Dawood Ibrahim looks very realistic as well.

The trailer has definitely changed everyone’s perception about Shraddha’s acting skills and she has owned it.

The movie is set to release on 18th August 2017.
