Earlier this year it was announced that Salman Khan and Karan Johar would collaborated together and produce a film which would star Akshay Kumar. Obviously, Bollywood buffs couldn’t contain their excitement.
However, it looks like that excitement was just short-lived. If rumors are to be believed, Salman Khan, who was supposed to co-produce the film has opted out of the project which was supposedly based on the ‘Battle Of Saragarhi.’
Apparently, the reason behind it is Salman’s alleged fallout with his manager Reshma Shetty, who is now Akshay Kumar’s manager and also the failure of his recent film ‘Tubelight’. And now Salman doesn’t want to do another war based film. Furthermore, some reports even claim that the film is shelved.
This is not the first-time reports of Salman backing out of this project have come up. Earlier, when Ajay Devgn announced a film based on the same subject, it was heard that given Salman’s equation with Ajay, the ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actor had opted out of the film.
However, at that time Salman took to his twitter and wrote, “Don’t follow rumors. follow me. ek baar jo maine commitment kar di toh phir……vry much doing film with @akshaykumar.”
Well, we are waiting for one more such tweet from the ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ star to rubbish off this news.
