The much-awaited TED Talk India is all set to premiere on 10th December and fans are incredibly excited to see what it’s all about. Just a day before it airs, host Shah Rukh Khan has shared a new promo for the show.

In the latest promo, King Khan is seen giving advice to kids on how to escape when your parents scold you. A thing each one of us wanted to know when we were kids. SRK says, when your parents scold you for being engrossed in your smart devices the entire day, you should tell them how you just don’t play games and chat on the device but also watch ‘TED Talks’.

SRK states how saying this can be your golden ticket and they will definitely feel proud of you.

The actor shared the promo on Facebook and captioned it, “For kids and their parents… Ideas are currency for everyone! #TEDTalksIndiaNayiSoch, Starts 10th Dec, 7pm STAR Plus TED.”

Talking about the concept of the show, the ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ actor said in a statement, “Ideas are the new cool currency, the new rock n roll. This show is a unique and powerful initiative towards opening people’s minds to the power of ideas and encouraging ‘Nayi Soch’. An idea can inspire you with limitless possibilities, give you an alternative perspective to look at oneself, one’s surroundings and future.”

For people who haven’t watched TED Talks, the show features speakers from diverse fields where they give a short and powerful talk following the show’s signature style and pattern.

The episode will simulcast on various channels in India like Hotstar, Star Gold, Movies OK, Star World, Star Jalsha, and Star Plus.

On the work front, Badshah is busy shooting Aanad L Rai’s film where he will be seen playing a midget, which we are looking forward to. The film also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.

One will be held at Florence and other at Milan. It is going to be a proper Indian wedding with the priests and Indian wedding rituals.”

And of course, Virat’s coach Rajkumar Sharma who once taught him. There were others too but they can’t make it for the day.”

'Fukrey Returns' Review: 3 Reasons Why This Slacker Of A Sequel Shouldn't Have Returned

It all starts with the familiar story that we all remember from ‘Fukrey’ (2013). The gang of four—Choocha (Varun Sharma), Honey (Pulkit Samrat), Lali (Manjot Singh) and Zafar (Ali Fazal) are still in the lottery business. However, Bholi Punjab (Richa Chadda) is out of the jail and wants to start from where they left off.

To understand ‘Fukrey Returns’, you don’t need to watch the first part, as the director explains the gist of the previous part in the opening credits.

But the factor that made ‘Fukrey’ such an entertaining watch is totally missing in the sequel which ruins all your expectations that you might have after watching the fun-filled trailer. And here’s why it shouldn’t have returned.

Deja Vu Or Dejaa Choo?

Call it what you want, it doesn’t matter. The feeling of it hangs throughout the film, as it fails to shake away the effect of the first one. ‘Fukrey Returns’ is nothing new and looks almost the same. But those elements are far less impactful and ruin all the fun.

Moves Aimlessly

The whole drawback with the film is that it moves from one point to another aimlessly, making us tired of the loose ends. There are scenes when you feel it might grow but it remains intact, making literally no progress at all. It gives you a feeling of an unplanned circus that wants to do so much in so little time.

A Painful Comedy

‘Fukrey’ was indeed a fun comedy but the same can’t be said for its sequel. Of course, it has its moments but they are just not enough. The only ones who fare well are Choocha and Honey, who will leave you in splits. But rest are pretty disappointing; even capable actors like Richa Chadda and Pankaj Tripathi can’t do enough to hold our attention. If not an original, the sequel could have been some fun but there is hardly anything in the story that can keep the actors going. And now we understand why Ali Fazal mentioned to us in an interview that he didn’t want to do this film, but did it because it was being made.

MensXP Verdict

Coming quickly to the point, this movie that could have been a full-on laughter riot but unfortunately, it just slogs. Blame it on the box office success of ‘Fukrey’, but coming back with a sequel after a four-year gap makes you realise that ‘Fukrey Returns’ is not even one percent as entertaining as the original. Some things are just best left untouched. Choocha, Honey, and Bholi Punjab return after a hiatus, but it makes us wonder: should they have?

Our recommendation: skip this one and better watch the original again!

Mujhe nahi baat karna.” And it is surprising to see that all this happened while Puneesh was there, but the man decided to just watch the show that was unfolding before his eyes.

'Kaalakaandi' Trailer: Saif Ali Khan's Latest Flick Is About Life, Lust, Murder & Karma

The 2-minute 22-second clip starts with a man decked up in a suit talking to a doctor. He has never smoked, consumed alcohol or tried drugs and yet has been diagnosed with stomach cancer. Left with just some time to live, the doctor kindly suggests him, “Whatever makes you happy, do it.” And that’s exactly how the roller-coaster ride of Saif Ali Khan’s character in ‘Kaalankaandi’ begins.

One look at the video and you just know that this is the Saif Ali Khan we have been dying to watch. The trailer of the film is finally out and it can be called anything but conventional. This thriller-dark comedy, which has been directed by Akshat Verma who also wrote ‘Delhi Belly’, already looks like an intriguing watch.

The crux of the story forms after Khan is informed about his cancer. You see a suited-booted man turned into an entirely different person. ‘Kaalakaandi’ is about life, murder, lust, gunshots, passionate kisses, karma and everything in between.

The film takes you through the journey of six characters on one monsoon night in Mumbai. Plus Saif’s yellow fur, weird hairdo is enough to get you down with a hard case of the giggles. And a special mention to the awesome score that just perfectly adds up to all that’s happening in the trailer.

All set to hit the screen on 12th January 2018, the film also features Vijay Raaz, Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raaz and Deepak Dobriyal Sobhita Dhulipala, Akshay Oberoi and Isha Talwar in vital roles.

Bigg Boss 11: When Arshi Khan Had An 'Alia Bhatt Poor GK' Moment

Bigg Boss 11 is quite an entertaining watch and we must give full points to the contestants, who are doing everything in their ability to raise the amusement quotient and are actually succeeding in making us cry tears of laughter.

Talking about the most entertaining contestant, Arshi Khan is definitely the one who will top the list. The woman just knows how to grab eyeballs and be in the news. She is full of entertainment and ‘Awaam yeh jaanti hai’.

And what happened this time around is even more hilarious. It all began with Vikas Gupta who turned into a quiz master, putting Arshi on the hot seat and the answers that she gave were just unbelievable. Luv Tyagi was shocked while Vikas couldn’t control his laughter.

It all started when Arshi talked about how beautiful Bhopal is to Puneesh and ended up calling it Delhi’s capital. Well, we never knew Delhi had a capital. Maybe we read the wrong syllabus book or maybe it was the other way round.

However, soon she corrected it but it was too late, as she suffered the infamous brain-fart moment that Alia Bhatt had on ‘Koffee With Karan’. Vikas looked into the camera and said, “Hi Alia, please meet your fan who wants to be like you, Arshi Khan.” To which Arshi promptly responded, “I am smarter.”

And that’s how Vikas donned the cap of a quiz master and then asked, “What is heavier — one-kilo iron, one-kilo cotton or a kilo of gold?”

Arshi replied, “Iron” while Hina Khan replied, “Gold”. Vikas rolled his eyes at their answers and said, “Mar jao jake tum dono. Hi Alia, wapas miliye aapne bahut ache do fans se. Dono hi Khan hai.” To which Hina tried to safely cover-up claiming she knew the right answer and was just joking.

Vikas again came up with another question and asked, “Which one is the biggest planet – Moon, Pluto or Mars?” Arshi first replied Earth but later decided to settle with the moon. This became the talk of the house and everyone started ridiculing her for her general knowledge.

Arshi first said it should be Earth because, well, we live on it but then settled for moon. Hard to argue with that logic.

Vikas also threw a bizarre question at her asking in which country Bhutan is situated, to which she answered, “Nepal”. While she failed at giving many answers, she was successful in once again entertaining everyone with her answers.

But our favourite bit was when Vikas asked her India’s national insect and she decided to pick the ‘mosquito’. Right or wrong, it can truly be declared one!

The Bigg Boss house is on fire and things are turning pretty ugly. The contestants can no more say who their friend is and who is their foe. But this is what the house does to you; it brings out the worst in you.

With Bandgi Kalra leaving the house, Puneesh Sharma is having a hard time. Friends Arshi Khan and Akash Dadlani just had a messy fight as she didn’t save him from the nominations. Things are getting pretty intense inside the Bigg Boss house and viewers are thoroughly enjoying it.

Monday saw the biggest twist ever expected in the house. Everyone was ready to nominate one for eviction, but BB decided to take a different turn and asked them to save one contestant. That was one hell of a curve ball the organisers threw.

Despite getting saved via votes, Shilpa was nominated as Vikas Gupta (Captain of the house) voted against her. And Akash was already on the nomination list as no one voted in favour of him. Vikas voted against Shilpa on the mere fact that she is a very strong contender. Well, we all know that Vikas is the mastermind and is playing smart!

However, Shilpa is strong and popular and one can vouch for the fact that she is not going out of the house anytime soon. But if reports are to be believed, Akash won’t be getting eliminated as well. As per media reports, the makers have come up with a new strategy to keep Akash in the game.

They will be sending him in the secret room and that’s not just it, a wild card entry is supposed to happen as well who will be joining Akash in the room. We wonder who the wildcard entry will be.

We wrapped up the film in 38 days. October is more than a film to me. I don’t want to say much about it, but this film has definitely impacted me so much as a human being. I think it has definitely changed me as a human being.”
