The chirpy, happy-go-lucky girl, Benafsha Soonawalla came into Bigg Boss 11 trying to be as optimistic as possible. But staying in BB house ain’t an easy task, despite not wanting to be part of the dirty politics; she ended up getting involved in it.

Finally, she became quite active when the host of the show Salman Khan started pointing how she wasn’t seen much in the show. The MTV VJ soon started taking sides and started being vocal about her perspectives.

Later she created a buzz in news with regards to her closeness and intimacy with Priyank Sharma. That was something that caught everyone’s attention. While some felt Ben and Priyank looked great together, some also felt she was trying too hard to gain everyone’s attention. And finally she was evicted from the show.

In an exclusive chat with MensXP, Ben revealed, “I got nominated out of the Bigg Boss house because of pulling ahead of the contestants. There are a lot of people who deserve to be out of the house….Puneesh, Bandgi.”

Talking about her experience in the house she shared, “Overall experience was lovely but I think I lost track towards the end. I wish I could change it.”

Giving out details of what was cooking between her and Priyank, a topic that grabbed everyone’s eyeballs and got her flak as well, she went on to say, “There was absolutely nothing cooking between us, this is why it is pissing off. I understand it might have looked little wrong. It might have looked we are more than friends. But we live in that house 24 hours, there is a lot that audience doesn’t get to know. It was all a joke and we did it all for fun and then we used to laugh. Hum ek dusre ki tang khichte the (we were just pulling each other’s leg). It was nothing serious, it was nothing big. I really hope it gets clarified somehow.”

When it came to talking about Puneesh Sharma and Bandgi Kalra’s blooming love she says, “I think it was planned before but now it’s genuine. I hope that they don’t cross any line. Kyunki bohot baatein chal rahi hai un dono ke baare mein bhi (Talks are going on about these two as well). So I really hope they don’t cross any line because of their love story.”

The popular VJ was nominated after she pulled Akash Dadlani’s hair in a fight, something that many of us remember. When asked about revealing one thing about few members of the house that she dislikes she revealed, “Hina: B*****s a lot about people. All the rumours that you see, she only starts it. Puneesh: When he gets angry, he speaks a lot of dirty things about people. Shilpa: She flips out when she gets angry. Bandgi: She should know when she shouldn’t cross her line when it comes to her and Puneesh’s relationship. Akash: Usko apna pagalpan kaam karna padega aur bewakoof ki tarah jo mooh mein aaye woh nahi bolna chhaiye, sochna chahiye (He should not just blather on like a fool, but learn to filter what comes out of his mouth).”

One thing she feels that everyone should know is that, “Priyank and Ben are just friend and whatever you saw was just for fun. We were just pulling each other’s leg.”

Believe it or not, somewhere cinema immensely affects the way we think. Films somewhere leave an impression on our brain, be it good or bad. When we see a hero doing something, it is considered to be alright and we often term it as love when it, in reality, is nothing more than stalking. Karan Johar’s ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ is one of the best examples of stalking a female and audience and makers terming it as love.

You see Badrinath Bansal (Varun Trivedi) literally stalking Vaidehi Trivedi (Alia Bhatt) be it out of love, but following someone is truly not so cool, be it on-screen or off-screen. It might look glorious on the silver screen but in reality, it’s creepy and movies are the medium that often advocates such propaganda in name of entertainment.

Things the makers show on the celluloid often sets up an example and prompt an individual to behave in a certain way, because of the mere thought that when a hero of the film can do it then why not ‘I’?

At times filmmakers don’t realise that they have some unsaid moral responsibilities because what they show to thousands of people make a huge impact and item numbers are something we seriously need to take a look at.

Yes, we do love it. Yes, it’s on our playlist because of the peppy beats. Yes, the woman on the screen is a glamorous actress and looks every bit hot and sexy. But let’s not forget the basic fact that at the end of the day item song is nothing more than a woman dancing in skimpy clothes with people hooting for her and checking her out in all inappropriate ways possible.

These songs in simple terms objectify women and portray misogyny. And that is exactly what’s wrong with Bollywood. Cinema has a lot more potential than just set some negative examples in an individual’s life.

And finally, we have someone from Bollywood who acknowledges this and accepts his mistakes. Filmmaker Karan Johar who has himself made songs like ‘Chikni Chameli’, ‘Shut up and Bounce’, ‘Mera Naam Mary Hai’, admits to his mistake of objectifying a woman in his song and promises to never do it again.

Talking to ‘She The People’ he said, “The moment you put a woman in the centre and a thousand men looking at her lustingly, it’s setting the wrong example. As a filmmaker, I have made those mistakes and I will never do it again.”

Manning up to his mistake he has made a sensible decision. Of course, cinema should be entertaining but not at the cost of setting up wrong examples. Let’s hope more filmmakers follow and understand this basic need.

This week’s elimination might come as a surprise to many as Bandgi Kalra is set to be thrown of out the Salman Khan show. We know many of you might be upset as this might end a blooming love-story (if it was at all real).

Among everyone in the house you will see Puneesh Sharma being the most affected party, after all, he and Bandgi came really close to each other.

Bandgi was in news every now and then for her on-going romance with Puneesh Sharma. From all hands to getting intimate on the national camera, the two tried their level best to grab all the eyeballs. This also caused a rift between her boyfriend Dennis Nagpal, who publicly said that the two were faking love on-screen just for publicity.

Talking about the campaign in a statement, Sunny said, “We live in a world with such amazing advances in vegan materials and options for everyone. There is no reason for anyone to support cruelty in any form. Synthetic leather, mock croc, and even faux fur are some of the many great options.”

Daniel also shared his views and said, “We need to be a voice for animals and make sure we understand that, without them, there is no us. We must co-exist and learn to respect.”

Another Royal Wedding! Prince Harry To Marry Lady Love Meghan Markle in 2018

Royal weddings always manage to grab our attention and now another royal love story is set to go down in the history, as Prince Harry is all set to marry his lady love Meghan Markle. Fifth in line to the throne, Harry secretly got engaged to his long time girlfriend and finally they have officially made an announcement about their wedding.

In a statement issued by Kensington Palace, Markle’s parents said, “We are incredibly happy for Meghan and Harry. Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person.”

Prince Harry, 33, and Markle, 36, started dating 15 months ago and since then the duo has been in news for some or the other reason. The couple was introduced to each other by a mutual friend and it was the beginning of a beautiful adventure.

Some researchers have even uncovered that the couple are distant cousins going back to the late 15th century. As per a media report, Ralph Bowes, an English Sheriff was Meghan’s ancestor who happened to be Harry’s relative through the Queen Mother Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. Pretty interesting fact we must say!

Markle who is popularly known for her role as Rachel Zane in ‘Suits’, spoke for the first time about their relationship in a interview with Vanity Fair where she said, “We’re a couple. We’re in love.
