SZA Satyendra aka Sattu (Rajkummar Rao) and Aarti (Kriti Kharbanda) meet for a proposed arranged marriage and fall in love in the process. On the night of their marriage, an unexpected turn of events turns their world upside down and marriage does not happen on that day as Aarti decides to pursue her dreams. 5 years later, both cross paths and the story takes an interesting turn when Satyendra, now an IAS officer, is assigned the case of framed PCS officer Aarti. Set in the backdrop of India’s civil services, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana explores the challenges that Satyendra and Aarti face as a middle-class couple in India.

QQS As any single adult would tell you, online dating sites are a minefield of unknowns.
But director Tanuja Chandra goes out on a limb with her new romantic comedy, Qarib Qarib Singlle, and taps into the hook-up between Jaya

(Parvathy) and Yogi (Irrfan Khan) — two misfits who meet through a dating website.

Their first meeting is expectedly awkward; it is a voyeur’s delight.

The perils of meeting a stranger for coffee is delightfully brought out. There are no sparks flying here and that’s a refreshing change for a Bollywood romantic comedy.

Jaya is a workaholic executive, while Yogi is a motor-mouth with boundary issues. Yogi acts overfamiliar, making Jay wonder out aloud if he’s a creepy stalker. Khan, in his wry, dead-pan style agrees with her, saying he does have a stalker-like face.

His agreement with her all-too-real assessment was an icebreaker for not just that couple, but for the viewers, too.

But both these characters aren’t instantly likeable. Jaya is uptight and prudish, while Yogi is full-on, perhaps even narcissistic.

SLB Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, following widespread criticism against his yet-to-release film “Padmavati”, on Wednesday said the film upholds the honour of Rajputs and does not depict anything that may hurt anyone’s sentiments.

A post on the official Twitter handle of “Padmavati”, read: “‘Padmavati’ my tribute to the sacrifice, valour and honour of Rani Padmavati: Sanjay Leela Bhansali.”

In an accompanying video link, Bhansali, who has so far refrained from commenting much on the controversy, says: “I’ve made this film ‘Padmavati’ with a lot of sincerity, responsibility and hard work. I have always been inspired by Rani Padmavati’s story and this film salutes her valour and sacrifice. But because of some rumours, this film has become a subject of controversy.

“The controversy is over the fact that the film has a dream sequence between Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji — something that I have already denied even in written. Now through this video, I am reiterating that in our film, Rani Padmavati and Alauddin Khilji have no such scene together which hurts anyone’s sentiments.

“We have made this film with a lot of responsibility and have kept the pride and honour of the Rajputs in mind.”

The movie, which is being called an epic historical drama, features Deepika Padukone as Rajput queen Rani Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor as her husband Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Delhi Sultanate ruler Alauddin Khilji.

It is slated to release on December 1. But the film has been mired in controversy ever since it was in the midst of being shot, over alleged distortion of facts.

Bhansali was attacked at the Jaipur set of the film by activists of Rajput organisation Shri Rajput Karni Sena. Later, a set of the film in Kolhapur was vandalised and set on fire.

Karni Sena representatives have been voicing concerns over the film’s release, and Sarv Brahmin Mahasabha has protested against its release too. Some political leaders are of the view that the makers must show the film to historians

SLMAN The trailer of Salman Khan – Katrina Kaif starer Tiger Zinda Hai released yesterday and literally broke the internet. The trailer promises some intense action sequences, strong plot line and of course the phenomenal spy Salman Khan.
Trade experts, film fraternity and the audience are all praises for the trailer and have already called it a super hit movie of the year.

Tiger Zinda Hai is slated to release on December 22 but even before its release, the film has beaten the record of Shah Rukh Khan starer Raees. Here’s how.

The trailer of Tiger Zinda Ha released digitally on 7th November and in just 24 hours, the film’s trailer crossed 26 Million views. Shattering all the existing records, the film has created history. Tiger Zinda Hai has successfully managed to be the first Bollywood film to receive the highest views in just 24 hours.

On Youtube, Tiger Zinda Hai clocked 17 million views whereas Raees had touched 12.7 million views. Talking about the overall statistics, Tiger Zinda Hai garnered 29 million views in total whereas Raees had received 21 million views.

Shah Rukh Khan’s film Raees entered the 100 crore club in just 6 days of its release. We are waiting to see if Salman’s film will be able to beat this one.

Deepika Padukone REVEALS the DIFFICULTIES she faced for Ghoomar

deepika-padukone-ghoomar Deepika Padukone says shooting the song “Ghoomar” for the film “Padmavati” was challenging for her as it needed delicate moves with the right emotions.

Deepika was on Tuesday present for the promotion of the song at a leading radio station here.

She said: “I think the toughest part of this song is the fact… As you all have seen the song, we did the steps keeping in mind the minute details — the hip movement and the hand movement. They are not traditionally seen. They are not big, loud steps… It is very fragile and delicate, but at the same time emoting or connecting with the audience… That was really difficult experience for me.”

“Ghoomar” is the first song to come out from the forthcoming movie “Padmavati”.

“This folk dance was actually the first time I went to sets as Padmavati, and this is the very first thing we shot. It was really difficult for me because I was just getting to understand the character which I am playing — what is the character, who is she, how she dances and looks, what would be her body language and mannerisms.

“I was straight away thrown into this song, so it was very challenging for me,” added Deepika.

At the event held in Mumbai, Deepika even danced to the song with fans.

“Padmavati” is an epic period drama film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

The film features Shahid Kapoor as Rawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji, with Aditi Rao Hydari and Jim Sarbh in supporting roles. The film is scheduled for release on December 1.

Jhanvi Kapoor to make her Bollywood debut before Sara Ali Khan?

Sara_janvi Sara Ali Khan and Jahnavi Kapoor are two star-kids who will mark their Bollywood debuts in 2018. The two before entering the competitive world of Bollywood, remain friends and are often seen hanging out together.

While, Sara Ali Khan is making her debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Kedarnath, Jahnavi will be seen in her first film opposite Ishaan Khattar in Marathi film Sairat’s remake. Although, Sara has almost finished filming for Kedarnath, her film is scheduled to release on December 21, 2018.

However, Jahnavi’s film has been delayed for almost a year now but now reports suggest that Jhanvi and Ishaan will start shooting for their debut film from first week of December.

According to the schedule, Jhanvi’s film will go on floors in December and will have a June-July release which is way ahead of Sairat’s release. It’s also reported that Sairat remake will be wrapped in just two schedules. Sairat remake will be under the banner name of Dharma Productions.

Earlier reports of Jhanvi miffed with Karan for delaying her debut project were also doing round. It was so annoying for Jhanvi that she asked her mom Sridevi to intervene in the issue and have a word with Karan Johar.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has been named as part of the leaks, regarding shareholding in a Bermuda company acquired before the 2004 Liberalised Remittance Scheme kicked in.

A day before the big story broke, Amitabh had penned his thoughts on being named in the Bofors scandal and the earlier Panama Papers leaks.

“Tomorrow there could be more… And the process of our cooperation shall continue,” he wrote in a blog post on Sunday.

On the Panama Papers of last year, he wrote: “We were asked for reactions, for responses, for justification or not, for replies to their investigative queries… Two instant replies were given out by us… Of denial and misuse of name. They were printed… but the questions continued.

“The fullest cooperation has been extended at all hours as dutiful citizens.. And even after, if there is any more query that needs to be addressed, we shall comply.”

She was finishing some patchwork but he asked her to attend the event and complete her shoot after that. The moment she got done she left for the Padmavati shoot. Nobody questions Bhansali and she has worked with him in three films and understands where he’s coming from. The filmmaker is very clear on what he wants and there’s apparently a marketing strategy that the three of them will be promoted at different dates.

A promotional schedule has been chalked out and Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh’s teams have been informed who will attend what and where; so what was the fuss about? Shahid was not upset at all. Stars who work with Sanjay Leela Bhansali know that he controls the publicity and the actors have no hand in it at all. Nor was Ranveer Singh upset as he and Deepika Padukone were seen flirting with each other on Instagram just yesterday after he put up a picture of his.”

The makers have been keeping the excitement soaring by regularly sharing interesting stills from the film’s set.
