Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh are no more clashing at the box office. If fresh reports are to be believed, the two actors have averted the clash.

Previously, SRK’s next that’s directed by Aanand L. Rai was set to have a face off with Ranveer Singh’s “Temper” directed by Rohit Shetty. The two films were to release on the same day, i.e December 21, 2018.

But, now, the clash has been dismissed and Ranveer’s film is releasing a week later, i.e. on December 21, 2018.

Looks like the two actors do not wish to repeat the history! For those unaware, last year in December, SRK’s “Dilwale” and Ranveer’s “Bajirao Mastani” helmed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali had released on the same day and that hugely affected the box office numbers of both the films. So, looks like they have now learnt from the mistakes of the past and have taken a wise decision.

A source has been quoted by a popular daily, “Rohit Shetty’s film has been titled Temper and the release date has been pushed further by a week. It will now release on December 28 and not Christmas week. While earlier it was to release on December 21, now two films are coming on that day – Shah Rukh Khan’s untitled next directed by Aanand L Rai and Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath. Rohit has never been someone who likes his films to clash with others as he believes they cut into the box-office business. Also, he knows SRK well and the two had a word with each other about it. Both are big films in their own way, hence Rohit, who is co-producing the film with Reliance Entertainment, decided to postpone Temper by a week.”

The source adds, “There have also been reports that Ranveer may lend his name as a co-producer, under his mother’s (Anju Bhavnani) name, along with the producer of the Telugu film Temper, Bandla Ganesh. He has always supported young, first-time producers himself like Vikramaditya Motwane for Lootera and Zoya Akhtar for Gully Boy and may lend his name, without investing in it like Akshay Kumar and have a share in the back-end profits.”

Salman Khan have always life vicariously and has been controversy’s favourite child. His life has constantly been under the media scrutiny, owing to the kind of controversies he has been involved in. Inspite of that, Salman is still considered to be one of India’s most bankable stars and is riding on superstardom that one can only imagine to achieve.

Salman, who was present at the HT Summit 2017, an event sponsored by Hindustan Times, had a lot to say about his personal life.

“I live a boring life, but journalists make my life interesting,” he said. A lot of people are opinion makers these days because they are called on TV channels. They are shouting there. If one person screams then you may hear him, but you can’t hear 15 people screaming together.”

Asked if he was talking about a channel in particular, Khan let the question pass, saying he was not talking about anyone in particular. “For last 30 years, I am told I am misunderstood. How can someone be misunderstood for decades,” said the actor. Kind of life I have led is the kind everyone has led. I have been working 24 hours, seven 7 days a week. The rest you hear is because people are running their own shows… It’s a hardworking life I have led. I still live in a one-bedroom apartment,” said Khan, who started his career in 1988 as the second lead in Farooq Sheikh-Rekha starrer ‘Biwi Ho To Aisi’.

The actor, facing multiple court cases, said, “I have to smile, go to interviews, romance onscreen even if I am worried about my court cases.” Salman Khan will be next seen in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and ‘Race 3’.

Tiger Zinda Hai, which sees Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif as undercover intelligence agents, is probably director Ali Abbas Zafar’s most ambitious film to date. Since the film is inspired by the real-life incident of Indian nurses being taken hostage by the ISIS in Iraq in 2014, the director is making sure that his offering is as authentic to the setting as possible.

In his bid to ascertain that the characters in the background are speaking fluent Arabic, replete with the right pronunciation and diction, Zafar flew down to Dubai last week to supervise the recording of the background sound. He roped in voiceover artistes from Iraq and Syria. The director says, “We are doing background dubbing with many artistes who are fluent in Arabic to get the right texture of voices. This process will help us in creating a true- to- life feel for the audience.” The thriller marks Zafar’s first attempt at a story that has its roots in real- life events. ” Since the film is set in Iraq, it is important that the language and diction are authentic. It will add impact to the plot.”

Tiger Zinda Hai’, the action mega entertainer from Yash Raj Films, has wowed everyone first with its record-smashing trailer and then its blockbuster swagger of a party anthem. Now, the audiences are set to be treated with a Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif love song! Titled ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’, the song features the two superstars in their most romantic song to date. The highlight of the song is Salman painting a portrait of Katrina on ice! Talk about freezing a moment in time!

‘Dil Diyan Gallan’, a beautiful song that sums up the love story of super spies Tiger and Zoya have been shot across extreme climes of Austria. While the mountains were difficult to film in because of bone-chilling, subzero temperatures, the song has turned out to be a visual treat set in the gorgeous Alps. Director Ali Abbas Zafar sums it up as “It is a romantic track that captures the beauty of a mature love story. We have filmed ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ in an old school, vintage way to bring alive the romance that two mature people share. It is like a classic Yash Chopra song.”

Just like filming for action sequences on this remote Austrian mountainside had its challenges, shooting this ballad didn’t come easy either. Ali adds, “Salman and Katrina shot this song on some very difficult terrain in the Alps. The biggest highlight of this song is the unique Katrina portrait that he has drawn on a frozen lake. We had to shoot on this lake and Salman converted it to a canvas. We had to source natural colors, as ice doesn’t catch all kinds of paints, which didn’t come easy. But once we got hold of this, he created a huge 20 feet by 20 feet portrait that features Katrina’s face. It’s a sight for sore eyes, this painting, and it makes Dil Diyan Gallan a truly unique romantic song visually.”

Salman and Katrina’s scorching chemistry has become the talk of the town. Their onscreen romance makes Tiger Zinda Hai even more anticipated. The high octane action thriller is set to release on December 22, 2017.
