There are movies which scare you, there are movies which give you sleepless nights and then there are movies which creep you out in a way that you find the mere thought of finishing them to be pretty uncomfortable. These five movies fall under the super creepy category:

1. Teeth – It is clearly one of the most bizarre and weird coming-of age movie is our modern time. A woman discovers that she has ‘vagina dentata’ ( a condition where her vagina basically has teeth) and life changes for her completely. The power allows her condition to bite off a man’s sex organ. There is one particular scene where a man is bleeding in his bed while talking on the phone. Err, yeah.

2. Raw- This one is relatively new on this creepy list. This movie was hyped to be very uncomfortable where many theatre companies were providing puke bags to the audience. A girl discovers her cannibalistic trait in college and a chicken Caesar salad becomes a dead body salad. There is one scene where a girl eats her finger and that’s when the audience thought oh shit why did we eat lunch today?

3. México Bárbaro- This one literally translates to ‘barbarous Mexico’. This one needs you to have a lot of guts to finish watching it. The creepy scenes include a woman spilling menstrual blood all over the face and a creature which basically has no face. Maybe Arya Stark would like him, but certainly you won’t.

4. Carnage Park- This one has a woman who has been taken as a hostage and is being hunted by a Vietnamese vet. Her escape doesn’t happens, no one is left alive and the whole visual aesthetic is basically uncomfortable.

5. Cabin Fever- This has an original movie and also a remake. The scenes which spell UNCOMFORTABLE include a man with the blood of his dead and rotten dog sprayed on his face.

In case you were looking to creep yourself out or a friend, this is all the help you need.

Post the success of biopics like ‘Neerja’, ‘Dangal’, ‘Padman’, ‘Raazi’, ‘Parmanu’ and historical and period films like ‘Baahubali’ and ‘Padmaavat’, Bollywood seems to have dropped the pen and pick up stories that are already available in the bookshelves or on the internet. So let us look at the list of upcoming releases –

1. ‘Sanju’ – Ranbir Kapoor as Sanjay Dutt

Ranbir Kapoor has emulated Sanjay Dutt in every aspect including his mannerisms and physical looks. Hope this time, Rajkumar Hirani’s film plays a major relief in Ranbir’s career and the audience gives him his well-deserved Jaadu ki Jhappi on 29th June 2018.

2. ‘Soorma’ – Diljit Dosanjh as Sandeep Singh

'Soorma' - Diljit Dosanjh as Sandeep Singh© Sony Pictures Releasing

Diljit Dosanjh as Sandeep Singh looks promising in Shaad Ali’s ‘Soorma’. It looks like another ‘Sultan’, where the sport has changed from wrestling to hockey. We have to wait until 13th July to find more.

3. ‘Gold’ – Akshay Kumar as Balbir Singh

Expected to release on Independence Day, Reema Kagti-directed ‘Gold’ takes us on the journey of India’s first Gold win at the Olympics.

Kangana Ranaut as Rani Lakshmibai looks promising after Sushmita Sen’s dream project never took off. It would be interesting to see her in this brave avatar after playing intense and funny characters in ‘Fashion’ and ‘Queen’ respectively.

5. ‘Super 30’ – Hrithik Roshan as Anand Kumar

With ‘Super 30’, Vikas Bahl also enters into the biopic zone with Anand Kumar’s Super 30 class of IITians. Classes are opening in cinemas on 26th January 2019.

14. Vikram Batra untitled biopic – Sidharth Malhotra

15. Abhinav Bindra untitled biopic – Harshvardhan Kapoor

16. Shakeela untitled biopic- Richa Chaddha

17. ‘Shamshera’ – Ranbir Kapoor

P.S. – Kalpana Chawla’s biopic has not seen the light since Jean-Pierre Harrison, her husband, has not granted the rights to any filmmaker. However, it still remains one biopic that we wish to see someday. Hope Jean gives the nod.

But, let’s ask ourselves as an audience – Do we really need so many biopics/period films?

via GIPHY

It is good to bring inspiring stories on the silver screen but bringing it in heaps gives the impression of a biopic fest or period mela. Such a trend is not a good one primarily for three reasons –

1. First, everyone knows the true story and there is no excitement or suspense factor in this genre

2. Secondly, such biopics are altered and manipulated to play to the masses

3. With every major actor doing one or the other biopic, it looks like they and production houses are looking only to play safe and not take any risks by bringing something new on the table in terms of content.

Either way, a biopic is not a foolproof business model as there have been major disappointments like ‘Haseena Parkar’, ‘Daddy’, ‘Simran’, ‘Mohenjo Daro’ and ‘Omerta’, which hardly enjoyed more than a week of theatrical run.

via GIPHY

If periodic films or biopics continue to be produced in such a manner, the new screenwriters will never find a voice and creativity shall soon be lost. Bollywood needs to up their game and brew new content.

Nevertheless, we have a breath of fresh air lined up with films like ‘Happy Phir Bhaag Jaayegi’, ‘Fanne Khan’, ‘Manmarziyaan’, ‘Sui Dhaaga’, ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, ‘Zero’, ‘Kalank’ and ‘Brahmastra’ – which are different in their own league.

Bollywood and Hollywood movies have their individual concoctions of action, drama and a unique display of emotions and sentiments. But there also are a lot of movies that teach us to never give up and triumph over any difficulties that life throws at us.

These movies tell us, that irrespective of the many odds, how a person can remain steadfast in his convictions. It not only gives us life lessons but at the same time, changes the way we look at life for the better.

2018 has been an amazing year so far for both Bollywood and Hollywood in terms of putting out great content. While some movies have already hit the screens, some are yet to roll out. Either way, if you have missed out on these movies, then you are missing something that is definitely worth your time.

Right from ‘102 Not Out’, ‘Raazi’ to the upcoming ‘Incredibles 2’, here’s a list of movies you should watch out for to get an entirely new perspective on life.

1. 102 Not Out

‘102 Not Out’ is not your usual father-son love story and that’s what makes it extraordinary. Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor came together after 27 years and that was the reason enough to get us excited for this one.

Dattatreya, (Amitabh Bachchan), a 102-year old father, is an eccentric man and nothing can stop him from living life to the fullest. While Babu, (Rishi Kapoor) is his 75-year-old son who has simply lost interest in life.  Fed up with Babu’s surly attitude Dattatreya threatens to send him to an old age home unless he accepts a list of challenges. Unknown to Babu, the list is made in a manner that will make him re-look the gift of ‘Life’.

img(c) Sony Pictures

The movie teaches us two wonderful things that we often forget:

· “Zinda hai tab tak marna nahi hai.”

· “Aulaad nalayak niklay to use bhool jana chahiye…sirf uska bachpan yaad rakhna chahiye.”

It’s not just a happy entertainer but a movie that teaches us the value of life and our parents.

2. Raazi

Based on Harinder Sikka’s novel ‘Calling Sehmat’, ‘Raazi’ is inspired by a true story set in 1971, before the Indo-Pak war. This is an emotional and inspiring tale of an Indian girl who marries a Pakistani Army officer in order to extract intelligence details that were used during the war.

In the movie, Sehmat (Alia Bhatt) becomes a spy who knows that eventually, she would risk everything, from love, family to even her life. Witnessing her story makes us wonder if we could ever do something like that for our country. This unsung story of a spy actually teaches us the true meaning of determination and selflessness.

3. Pad Man

Akshay Kumar is on a roll and he, as always, came through with ‘Padman’. Directed by R Balki, the movie is a life-inspiring story of Arunachalam Muruganantham (played by Akshay Kumar), a social entrepreneur from Coimbatore, who invented low-cost sanitary napkins in India.

Despite all the difficulties, opposition and humiliation, he doesn’t give up. It’s a courageous story that tells the society that menstruation isn’t a taboo.  Akshay Kumar’s character, throughout the movie, tells us that if one is confident and determined, he/she can change the world.

4. Incredibles 2

How can we ever forgetting meeting the Parrs – Bob, Helen, Dash, Violet, and Jack-Jack in 2004? The crazy family instantly won our hearts in ‘The Incredibles’ and now they are all set to make a comeback with ‘Incredibles 2’,

From Mr. Incredible’s super strength to Elastigirl’s stretchy flexibility, the movie left everyone stunned. What makes this simple story so special is the fact that it’s about a family that sticks through thick and thin. And adding more to the cast this time is Kajol, who is doing the Hindi voiceover for the same, which gives many Indians more reason to watch it.  ‘Incredibles 2’ is all set to release on 22nd June.

5. Padmaavat

The Badass character of Alauddin Khilji (Ranveer Singh) in ‘Padmaavat’ gives a strong message of courage and the determination to succeed.  Even though he is playing the villain in the movie, there is a lot in his character that will teach you, keeping aside the negative aspect of course. You might hate him, despise him but he will make you fall in love with him.

We don’t agree with his violent methods, but his manipulation and diplomatic techniques can come in handy for many. You don’t have to go overboard but can always use it in an intellectual way without hurting anyone. Also, how one should take their sexual preferences in their stride is one thing you just can’t miss.

6. RAID

Based on a true story, ‘RAID’ is an inspiring tale for anyone who wants to make a difference and make his country a better place. Amay Patnaik, played by Ajay Devgn, is a fearless IT officer who carries out a non-stop raid at the mansion of the most powerful man in Lucknow, played by Saurabh Shukla.

For those who don’t know, the story is actually about a real-life high profile raid back in the 1980s during the rule of prime minister Indira Gandhi.

7. Sanju

This upcoming Hindi biographical film is clearly the most talked-about movie of the year so far. There is no one who is likely to miss this film based on the life of actor Sanjay Dutt.

Ranbir Kapoor will be seen donning Sanju’s role. The movie unfolds certain chapters of Sanju’s life that none of us know about. The movie will teach us that even if your life is falling apart you can always have a fresh start. ‘Sanju’ is all set to hit the screens on 29th June 2018.

8. Veere Di Wedding

The biggest USP of ‘Veere Di Wedding’ is that all the four beautiful women are giving it back, not only to the society, but also to all the ridiculous norms it proposes for them. It gives out a strong message to all the women out there to celebrate life and wear their vulnerabilities and failures like a badge of honour.

There are many life lessons one can learn from this bold movie. No matter what your gender is, you can’t miss this one!

9. Hichki

‘Hichki’ revolves around the life of Naina Mathur (Rani Mukherjee), who is suffering from a neurological condition called Tourette Syndrome since childhood. But for those who thought that a disease can break you, wait till you watch her inspiring journey.

She might be ‘suffering’ but that does not stop her from chasing her dream to be a teacher. The movie, in every frame, gives you a small lesson that you can inculcate in your life. It talks about how a certain disorder can make your body functionally weak but that should not stop you from achieving your dreams.

10. Bohemian Rhapsody

Chronicling the journey of Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, the much-awaited movie is one thing you just can’t miss. The film shows the journey of a man who was not afraid to showcase his flamboyant personality and be true to his nature, fighting stereotypes and not caring about the societal norms.

As the first major rock star to die of AIDS, Mercury’s death represented an important event in the history of the disease. Mercury’s life has various chapters and each has a lesson you can’t miss. The movie will hit the screens on 24 October 2018.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are not just mega-celebrities but are also responsible citizens, who do their bit to make a difference. Calling them crusaders of environment wouldn’t be wrong, especially when we look at the work they have done for various social causes.

Img(c) Twitter

And it’s not just a social media portrayal, but they follow the same in real life as well. Remember their wedding card which came along with a sapling as they wanted to promote greenery?

So clearly, if they are ever to find anyone trying to ruin the environment out of sheer stupidy, they will make it a point to teach them a lesson. And they did just that.

Img(c) Twitter

Recently, Anushka slammed a man in Mumbai for throwing garbage on the road. The actress was in no mood for nonsense and gave an earful to the person.

She stopped her car, called out the man saying him, “Why are you throwing garbage on the road?” But the man didn’t pay any heed to her words, to which she said, “Please be careful, you cannot go on throwing plastic on the road. Please use a dustbin next time.”

Img(c) Twitter

It was shameful to see how the man still didn’t feel the need to acknowledge his mistake and instead decided to argue. Virat recorded the entire incident and shared it on social media.

Img(c) Twitter

He tweeted, “Saw these people throwing garbage on the road & pulled them up rightfully. Travelling in a luxury car and brains gone for a toss. These people will keep our country clean? Yeah right! If you see something wrong happening like this, do the same & spread awareness. @AnushkaSharma.”

— Virat Kohli (@imVkohli) June 16, 2018

He also pointed out how people don’t have the courage to do something like this and it’s a shame.

Lot of people who don’t have the courage to do something like this find it funny. Everything for people nowadays is meme content. Shame.

— Virat Kohli (@imVkohli) June 16, 2018

Well, incidents like these make us applaud our celebrities for doing the right thing, but it also makes us sad thinking about how irresponsible people can be. We hope people understand that saving the environment is vital and everyone can see its importance. It’s time each one of us does their bit to make a difference.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are Bollywood’s ‘IT’ couple at the moment, and their blooming romance is the talk of the town. Not only did he finally open up about dating her, Alia was also seen spending quality time with Ranbir’s family.

The news of the two superstars dating threw many off and also broke millions of hearts. However, we are uber excited to see how they keep giving us couple goals. The pair will be seen together on the big screen for the first time in their upcoming movie ‘Brahmastra’.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt(c) Twitter

While Alia has always been vocal about her love and admiration for Ranbir, he finally spoke about her in an interview with a leading magazine.

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt (c) Twitter

Talking about this new equation, Ranbir said, “I think every human being does extraordinary things only when they are in love. So I believe that love is something which is a privilege if it comes in your life and to be in happy, beautiful positive place a relationship with it could be with a girl a guy, with a friend your mother your father or anybody but when there is some genuine love, it’s really beautiful.”

Also recently, in an interview with Rajeev Masand, Ranbir credited Aloo for bringing positivity into his life. He said, “It’s only positive and more so because we are working on a film together and I really admire her as an actor. To see her have so much of colour, so much of spontaneity, so much hard work, so much of discipline (extremely disciplined) is quite rare. It’s amazing. It’s been 10 years for me in this industry, little lethargy, a little chalta hai type attitude comes in. So it’s rejuvenating for me as an actor to be with Alia.”

Well, that’s an interesting revelation for sure, and something that definitely proves that they are indeed growing and moving full steam ahead in this relationship.

Drenched in patriotism, the new teaser of Akshay Kumar’s ‘Gold’ is finally here, and it is giving everyone goosebumps and a surge of patriotism as well. Saying that we are impressed would be an understatement because by far, this is the best movie teaser we have seen this year.

Img(c) Excel Entertainment

With every movie, Akshay Kumar keeps setting the benchmark higher and this teaser only proves that he can give any actor a run for their money. If you haven’t seen the teaser yet, get ready to feel a rush of emotions.

The teaser begins with a statement which says, “Please stand up for the national anthem”. While most of us wait to hear the familiar strains of our National Anthem, it begins with the British anthem ‘God Save The Queen’ instead. First few seconds and we are already unsettled.

The 54-second clip clearly sets the fact straight showing how for 200 years, Indians were being forced to stand for the British national anthem, taking us back to colonial India and the British oppression.

Gold(c) Excel Entertainment

Soon we get a glimpse of Akshay Kumar and we just can’t help but whistle. With a burning passion in his eyes, he is seen taking out the Indian national flag and that gives us an idea of his goal. The teaser then focuses on ‘one man’s dream’ that ‘made the British stand up for our anthem’.

Img(c) Excel Entertainment

Despite us already knowing the basic theme of the story, which is freedom from British oppression, there still is a sense of mystery as to how this one man will get the gold for India.. The teaser ends with “Vande Mataram” leaving us with millions of thoughts and unsaid emotions.

Gold(c) Excel Entertainment

For those of you who don’t know what ‘Gold’ is all about,  it is the story of a Bengali hockey player, who wants to win a gold medal for India, during the British rule.

If the teaser alone has managed to shake us to our very core, we can only wonder what the trailer has in store for us.

Directed by Reema Kagti, the film traces the journey of a hockey player and talks about what it meant to be patriotic during the pre-independence era. This will also be TV actor Mouni Roy’s Bollywood debut.

Gold(c) Excel Entertainment

Earlier, it was being said that ‘Gold’ is a biopic on former hockey player Balbir Singh Sr. However, clearing the air, Producer Ritesh Sidhwani stated in an interview that, “It is not a biopic. It is a completely fictional story but it is set against a real backdrop between 1933-48 India about what the country was, the sports…about hockey. It is not based on any character.”

Check out the teaser here and let us know what you think:

So no one told you life after F.R.I.E.N.D.S. was gonna be this way? We know it sucks after you watch that last episode. It’s like you suddenly don’t have anything to do anymore. Well, we can help you with that void. Here are 5 TV series which you can binge watch with a beer in hand and fries on your lap:

Two And A Half Men

If there’s a show which can make you laugh at every dialogue, it has to be ‘Two and a Half Men’. It’s a story of a womanizer who is lucky enough to be rich, handsome, charming and funny. Yeah, the complete package! Women want to be with him, men want to be him.

TV Series To Binge Watch On The Weekend© Warner Bros. TV Distribution

The story starts when his lifestyle takes a funny twist as his miser brother and adorable nephew come to live with him. How he has to curb his Caligula adventures, live with the brother he was never fond of and teach his nephew a thing or two about life is purely amusing. Though the show takes a toll when Ashton Kutcher replaces Charlie Sheen as a lead but first 8 seasons are just too good. We recommend you watch first 8 seasons at least.

Seinfeld

Simply put, this show has a great sense of humor and you’ve got to have one to understand the comedy.

TV Series To Binge Watch On The Weekend© Sony Pictures Television

The story revolves around a standup comedian, Jerry Seinfeld, and his three not-so-normal friends. One of them, Kramer, is jobless, socially awkward and weird. Another one, George, has a job, has fine people skills but is weird most of the times. The third one, Elaine, ex-girlfriend of Jerry, is… weird too. A sitcom with 8.9 IMDB rating must have something to offer!

Coupling

This is similar to F.R.I.E.N.D.S. as it also portrays day to day life of six friends. But here, they don’t have that great a bond and that’s what makes it funny. The show is full of discussions on sex and relationships and we get to see the humorous incidents revolving around either of the aforementioned topics.

TV Series To Binge Watch On The Weekend© BBC

This is a mini British series so a great accent and funny punch lines like “Why is it that if a woman thinks something is a turn-on, then it’s erotica. If a man does, then it’s porn’ will be on the plate. The show basically shows same things from a man’s and woman’s perspective.

Californication

This is not an all-comedy show but has a great storyline nevertheless. It’s a story of a fucked up guy who somehow lands in fucked up situations and gets out of it by using his charm. The story revolves around an alcoholic writer who still loves his ‘baby mama’ even though they are separated.

TV Series To Binge Watch On The Weekend© Showtime

It’s full of sex, drugs and rock & roll. Simply put, strictly for the 18+ audience. It’s a perfect blend of comedy and romance which you can watch while drinking your whiskey in this rainy weather. Just try not to call your ex after getting drunk and listening to some exceptional romantic dialogues like “At the end of the day, it’s all about her. It has always been about her.”

That ’70s Show

The show has Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis and Laura Prepon. That would be considered a huge star cast nowadays.

TV Series To Binge Watch On The Weekend© 20th Century Fox

It revolves around the everyday life of six teenagers and their holy circle of pot. It is a magnificent show as every character delivers its best. A must watch!

So, what are you waiting for? Go buy some booze, turn on the TV and enjoy the weekend!

No matter how many movies released this year, the first half was owned by Ranveer Singh for his exceptional portrayal of mad king Alauddin Khilji, in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmaavat’. And if the wedding rumours are anything to go by, then the second half of the year too will be pretty much owned by him. Although the movie received mixed reactions, Bollywood lovers stood unanimously in favour of this being Ranveer’s best performance so far.

Ranbir Kapoor wants to do a film with Ranveer singhViacom 18 Motion Pictures

But, after the release of the jaw-dropping trailer of ‘Sanju’, things changed and so did people’s interest. What was meant to be a movie that will take us through the life of Sanjay Dutt has now become a movie about “Who did it better: Sanjay Dutt or Ranbir Kapoor?” And for this, the entire credit goes to Ranbir Kapoor for looking so convincing.

Now while the two actors are doing great in their own respective acting careers and possibly two of the best actors in Bollywood right now, they have never come together in any movie. Call it lack of an interesting script for them, their personal equations (in the past) or just the fact that the directors never thought of it; but there’s no denying that we all have been secretly wishing for the two to come together in a movie.

Ranbir kapoor wants to work with raveer Fox Star Studios

And we guess we are not the only ones wishing for it, Ranbir Kapoor too thinks on the similar lines. Reportedly, in a recent conversation with Rajeev Masand, the actor said that he is a big fan of Ranveer and wants to work with him in a movie that’s similar to ‘Karan Arjun’ or ‘Andaz Apna Apna’. He said, “To cast two actors who have their own sensibilities is very hard because both have to like the material, it can’t just be another project. But I really want to work with him also because I am a big fan of his work. I thought he was spectacular in Padmaavat and every other thing that he has done.”

He also spoke about Ranveer’s acting prowess and his energy. “Every advertisement he does, he stands out, his energy stands out…his talent speaks so much. So, I want to do a film with him but it has to be the right film. It could be like a ‘Karan Arjun’ or a ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ or a ‘Deewar’, it could be any genre but it has to be something that both od us connect to and like,” he said.

To all the directors – Guys, are you listening? Now that even Ranbir wants to do a movie, can we please get one soon.

We bet Abbas-Mustan, the creators of the ‘Race’ franchise, have already watched this film and are probably on a hysterical ride right now. Well, not because the film is funny or anything but at how effortlessly the makers just wrecked the once-successful franchise.

Despite the promising ingredients of a star-studded cast, high octane sequences, seduction and betrayal, the film, unlike its previous installments, hardly manages to leave any impression on the viewer whatsoever.

Talking about the first two installments, the movies were not only perfectly packaged but Saif Ali Khan’s fantastic acting and the gripping plot made it one of the best thriller films Bollywood has ever made. However, every good thing does come to an end, and so did ‘Race’.

Everything about ‘Race 3’ screams the word ‘new’. The creators of the franchise were replaced with Remo D’Souza, who for no reason has bullets flying in every direction as if it was ‘Flying Jatt 2’. Of course, one of Bollywood’s biggest Khan was replaced with another Khan, which served as the last nail in the coffin.

The movie has clearly been dumped with Salman’s favourite B-town stars and that’s what exactly cost the film. In an attempt to follow the old formula, this movie is just an old cocktail poured into a new, expensive, fancy bottle, which still tastes horrible. No amount of picturesque locations, sultry dance moves, shirtless guys, sexy divas, and unwanted action sequences can make it better.

If Salman Khan thought that ‘Race 3’ was going to made this Eid extra special for his fans, I am disappointed to say that this is just another damp squib of a chapter from his ‘Tubelight’ textbook.

Remo’s film is a circus of six oafs and dolts, except for Anil Kapoor, who delivers as always and is a true entertainer. The movie has too many players trying to take control, but the script is so flawed that no amount of acting can stop it from crashing and burning.

The story is an inheritance drama that revolves around the family of a ruthless global arms dealer, Shamsher Singh (Anil Kapoor). He has his eye on a particular hard disk in order to blackmail Indian politicians and Shamsher’s nephew Sikandar (Salman Khan) has been given the job to get the hard disk. Shamsher has twins (Saqib Saleem and Daisy Shah) and a bodyguard (Bobby Deol). Rana (Freddy Daruwala) is the enemy. But the main problem is a will that leaves most of the property to Sikandar instead of Shamsher’s own kid.

You are also introduced to Jessica (Jacqueline Fernandez), a pole dancer whose loyalty changes direction just like the wind. She is seen romancing Sikander but then has Bobby next up in her list.

Looking at the movie, it seems like Remo was so enthralled by Salman’s presence alone, that he forgot his job to dole out instructions on how to act.

Salman simply comes across as a character who is doing whatever he wants and going in his own direction. Yeah, maybe Salman can do that, but how about following some basics? The dialogues are ‘blah’ and the amount of cars blown in this film can even beat Rohit Shetty’s record. Nothing seems in place and there are a lot of mindless gunshots and bullets flying around.

Most of Salman’s fans will assert that this is Bhai’s best performance till date and claim it was a thrilling watch. Some of you might accuse me of being too critical, but shouldn’t the movie at least make some attempts to follow the footsteps of its predecessors?

It’s brilliant to see how the entire cast cracks you up when that wasn’t even their intention in the first place. While Salman is busy trying to be the macho man, it is only Anil Kapoor who actually bothers to do some justice to his role and the movie. He knows what he wants, how he wants things to take place and has a great command over his character, which makes him the best in the clan of dunces. About the rest of the cast, the lesser we say, the better.

By the time the plot is set in motion, we see a duel, some twists in the climax, Bobby and Salman stripping their shirts off, but by then it’s too late for us to even bother.

No matter how much you love Salman and his gang, even a loyal fan will have a hard time getting over this shabby flick which takes up three hours of your precious life. Maybe it’s time we take Daisy’s suggestion seriously and understand that “Race 3 is just Salman Khan’s business, none of the viewers’ business.”

Salman Khan will soon start shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s Bharat, co-produced by brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. It’s also believed that he will juggle the schedule with Dabangg 3, directed by brother Arbaaz Khan. While producer Boney Kapoor’s Wanted 2 and No Entry Mein Entry were also in the pipeline, sources suggest that the star has put them on the back burner. He is likely to start work on brother Sohail Khan’s next directorial venture, Sher Khan, instead.

A source tells mid-day, “Writer Kona Venkat, who scripted Salman’s No Entry (2005) and Ready (2011), has finished writing Sher Khan’s script. It’s an out-and-out commercial drama. As soon as Salman Khan returns from the US and Canada leg of the Da-Bangg Tour in July, he will start shooting for Bharat, followed by Dabangg 3. Sohail is currently busy with the pre-production work of Sher Khan. Once he is done finalising the cast, Salman will start shooting for it.”

Khan, who is flooded with offers, says Boney Kapoor’s films are not on his calendar yet. “There is no Wanted or No Entry sequel happening,” he says, adding, “I’m doing Bharat, Dabangg 3 and Sher Khan. I want to do something that I instantly like. I take up films only if they excite me immediately. If something is narrated to me and I am like, ‘I will tell you tomorrow’ or ‘I need some time to think’, it’s never happening.”

When contacted, Kapoor sounded annoyed. He said, “You have already heard it from Salman, so you should go with his word. I don’t want to comment on this further.” Meanwhile, talking about his other projects, Khan says, “I am waiting for the Kick 2 script to be finalised. Then there is a dance film with Remo D’Souza and one with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He will narrate the script to me soon.”
