Salman Khan to shoot Race 3’s Allah Duhai Hai song in Kashmir ?

Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Race 3’ is one of the most anticipated films of this year. The makers are currently shooting for the last few portions of the film. Recent reports have it that Salman Khan and the ‘Race 3’ team will reportedly shoot for two to three days in Srinagar.

Reports also suggest that the team will shoot for a couple of scenes and a few portions of the ‘Allah Duhai Hai’ song in Kashmir. Post the Kashmir shoot, they will head to Leh, Ladakh for a song shoot.Salman Khan had last shot in Jammu and Kashmir for ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.Directed by Remo D’Souza the action flick also stars Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol, Saqib Saleem, Anil Kapoor and Daisy Shah.

‘Race 3’ is all set for an Eid release on June 15, 2018.On the other hand, Salman Khan is also lined up with ‘Bharat’ opposite Priyanka Chopra. The film will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and it is an official adaptation of a South Korean film titled ‘Ode To My Father’. Produced by Salman’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri, ‘Bharat’ will hit the screens on Eid 2019.

Varun Dhawan starrer October accused of plagiarism by a Marathi filmmaker

Shoojit Sircar’s directorial ‘October’ has been earning a lot of accolades from the audience as well as the critics. With moving performances by the lead stars of the film, fans are raving about it being Varun Dhawan’s best performance.

However, as per latest reports, Marathi filmmaker Hemal Trivedi claimed that the film is plagiarised from 2017 Marathi film titled ‘Aarti – The Unknown Love Story’, directed by Sarika Mene. As reported by a tabloid, Hemal Trivedi wrote on a Facebook post, “The filmmakers of ‘October’ never acquired any rights to the Marathi film and they never contacted Sarika.”

Sarika Mene reportedly told the daily that she wants the audience to watch both the films and be impartial towards their opinions. She revealed when she watched ‘October’ the characters that were portrayed in the film were similar to her film except for a few details which were different.

Reportedly, the Marathi film is based on the life of Sarika’s brother Sunny Pawar and his girlfriend Aarti Makwana, who was apparently paralysed in a car accident. Sarika further questioned the authenticity of the story and asked as to how the writer possibly imagined the exact events that had occurred in her brother’s private life. She also emphasised that she wants to know the origin of the idea in Shoojit’s mind about ‘October’.

When the ‘October’ team was asked about the same, the production house said that the story came from Shoojit’s personal space wherein his mother was in a comatose in the year 2004 and he took care of her. The source also revealed that they will be soon releasing an official statement in response to the plagiarism accusation.

Ranbir Kapoor: Have To Change Notion Of Masculinity

Actor Ranbir Kapoor has said the notion of masculinity has to be changed to empower women. Ranbir said this on Thursday while interacting with the media along with Deepika Padukone, Shabana Azmi, and Manish Malhotra. Ranbir and Deepika walked the ramp for designer Manish Malhotra, in an event organised by Shabana Azmi’s Mijwan Welfare Society.

On asking his idea of empowering the women of the country and securing equal rights for them, Ranbir said: “I think firstly, we have to change the notion of masculinity.” “I think the idea which we have in our mind about masculinity… if we could change the feeling of entitlement then that’s the big thing,” he said.

“Once we do that, we should provide a platform to encourage citizen of our country, especially to girls and the women. It will then be a great start and I think Mijwan Welfare Society is just about that,” Ranbir added.

Speaking on his experience of walking the ramp with his co-actor and ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone after so long, Ranbir said: “I think the biggest thing is we have come together to walk for Mijwan Welfare Society. That is the bigger picture here so it’s always wonderful to walk for Manish with Deepika and for Shabana aunty and everybody concerned with Mijwan Welfare Society.”

When Deepika was asked regarding her experience of walking the ramp with Ranbir, she said: “It’s very exciting. This is for the first time I am walking the ramp for the Mijwan fashion show. I started off my career as a model. I walked the ramp many times but this was special. It felt genuine, real and connected.”

“I feel everyone behind the scenes has worked really hard in doing what they do. Not just putting the show together but you can see the work, effort, and craftsmanship,” said Deepika. The “Padmaavat” actress also said it gives her real joy to see the Mijwan group doing so much to empower women and children.

“I think most importantly, the fact that they have empowered so many women and children give me so much joy and it’s inspiring to see the work they do,” added Deepika. Ranbir will be seen next in the biopic of actor Sanjay Dutt titled “Sanju”, directed by Raj Kumar Hirani, and in “Brahmastra” which is directed by Ayan Mukherji.
