Shah Rukh Khan joked of having a fourth child while he was shooting for ‘TedTalks India Nayi Soch’.

Shah Rukh Khan, who is hosting ‘TedTalks India – Nayi Soch’, revealed on the show that he is going to have a fourth child and will name her Akanksha. So, this is how it unfolded. A report in Pinkvilla states that SRK was asked to pronounce the name Akanksha, for which the superstar had to take multiple retakes.

Known for his wit and humour, the superstar in jest said, “I am fumbling with this name a lot and it’s really embarrassing because this never happens to me. I think I’m going to have a 4th kid very soon and I’m going to name her Akanksha.”

The 51-year-old is a father of three kids, Aryan Khan (20), Suhana Khan (17) and AbRam Khan (4). On the professional front, Shah Rukh has Aanand L Rai’s Zero, in which he plays a vertically challenged man.

Zero marks the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and Aanand L Rai. The film further reunites the Jab Tak Hai Jaan trio of Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. The principal shoot of ‘Zero’ is ongoing and everyone is having a great time making this one of a kind film, which is touted to melt your hearts.

After the success of its first season, the makers of Inside Edge are gearing up for the second instalment. In a bid to make the cricket drama all the more realistic, director Karan Anshuman is keen that Yuvraj Singh feature in the Richa Chadha and Vivek Oberoi starrer. A source in the know reveals, “The makers were toying with the idea of roping a cricketer for the next season, as it would lend more authenticity to it. Yuvraj’s name cropped up several times.”

Considering Angad Bedi, who also stars in the web series, is a close friend of Singh, the responsibility to convince the cricketer fell on his shoulders. “When Angad requested Yuvi to feature in the show, he jumped at the idea. If the dates work out, Yuvi will be seen in the new season,” adds the source.

Turns out, Singh will be seen as himself in the series. While the script is currently underway, the ace cricketer is likely to be seen in four episodes. Besides Singh, there are few other cricketers who have been approached for cameo appearances. “Their names will be announced once they have signed on the dotted line.”

Even as the makers of Padmaavat have requested police protection in Mumbai and other places, Rani Mahendra Kanwar of Bassi, Chittorgarh, has said that Bhansali is fooling people and would have consulted the Maharana of Mewar if his intentions were honest.

With less than 48 hours to go before the paid previews of Padmaavat on January 24, the protests against Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s drama only seem to be getting more intense. A day after 200 Rajput women held a protest march in Rajasthan, Rani Mahendra Kanwar of Bassi, Chittorgarh (vice-president, Jauhar Smriti Sansthan) told mid-day that distributors have assured her that the film won’t be screened in the state.

“The distributors have promised us they won’t showcase the film. They, too, do not support Padmaavat in any way,” said Kanwar, pointing out how Rajput women have ratcheted up the pressure with memorandums to government officials to give them permission to end their lives, in the event of the film’s release. “We are holding peace protest march every day. But our women have threatened to commit suicide if the movie hits screens.”

The Supreme Court is slated to hear the pleas of Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh today, seeking recall of its January 18 orders allowing the film to be screened across the nation. However, Kanwar said that the Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor-starrer won’t find a place in Rajasthan. “We respect the law, but can’t have anyone dishonouring our community.” When pointed out that the makers had made the necessary modifications recommended by the Censor Board, she said, “Bhansali is saying that it’s a work of fiction. Then why has he named his characters Alauddin Khilji and Rawal Ratan Singh? Bhansali is fooling people. If he had honest intentions, he would’ve sought permission from the Maharana of Mewar, Arvind Singhji.”

A distributor based out of Rajasthan, on the condition of anonymity, revealed that his peers have indeed decided to wash their hands off the film. “Many fringe groups are protesting against it; we don’t want to burn our fingers by going against them. It’s better to earn less than to incur damages,” he said. While protests continued in Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh yesterday, Karni Sena founder Lokendra Singh Kalvi agreed to watch the magnum opus on Bhansali’s invitation before its release.

Actor Ranveer Singh, ahead of the release of “Padmaavat”, shared a collage depicting various avatars of his character Alauddin Khilji, whom he described as a monster. Ranveer tweeted the collage on Monday morning. It features various stills of the actor in Khilji’s role. “Monster. Khilji. ‘Padmaavat’,” Ranveer captioned the image.

“Padmaavat”, after a history of troubles, is finally releasing on January 25. The film, featuring Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati and Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh, is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. The makers have said it’s a film Indians will be proud of.

As we inch closer to the release date of ‘Black Panther’, Marvel and superhero fans are finding it difficult to contain their excitement. And this wait is getting tougher with each passing day as Marvel is busy bombarding us with teasers, TV spots and trailers.

With just a few days left for the movie to hit the theatres, Marvel has dropped a Hindi trailer that is sure to make you shout ‘Ab aayega mazaa’, while sitting in front of your screens watching the video. The trailer begins with a voiceover talking about aliens and other mystical creatures and how something like this has never been seen before. And that’s when our beloved Chadwick Boseman comes on screen and brings along with him some kickass action, a glimpse of which we have already seen in previous trailers and teasers.

This trailer might crack you up, especially in parts where you hear dialogues like ‘Ghar aa gaya’, ‘Beta, ab waqt tumhara hai’ and ‘Wakanda Zindabad’; but the video manages to retain the original essence and the background music and killer action is sure to keep you hooked to it.

Having said that, did you know that this ‘Black Panther’ is connected to Bollywood’s biggest blockbuster franchise, ‘Baahubali’? No, you won’t spot Katappa killing Baahubali, neither will you see the great Mahishmati kingdom popping out of nowhere. Well, the catch is this – Marvel Studios roped in ‘Baahubali’ writer and lyricist Manoj Muntashir to pen the dialogues for the Hindi version. Honestly, we would love to watch T’Challa and Eric Killmonger discuss why Katappa killed Baahubali, but that’s not going to happen.

Back in July 2017, you might have seen photos of Lara Dutta, Diljit Dosanjh and Sonakshi Sinha walking the green carpet at IFFA Awards.

If you found it extremely weird and out-of-the blue, we should tell you that they were actually shooting on the green carpet for their movie ‘Welcome To New York’.

Now we know that Sonakshi and Diljit make for a rather unconventional couple but we were still pretty excited to see what’s in store for us. And boy, we have a lot to absorb!

Just a few days back, we got to see a ‘leaked’ video chat between Diljit and Sonakshi. They were then joined by Karan Johar, followed by Boman Irani, Lara Dutta and Riteish Deshmukh.

This was enough to leave us extremely confused but when we saw ‘Salman Khan calling’ appear on the screen, we were blown away.

Sonakshi plays a fashion designer who meets Diljit and somehow, they become a part of a big event that will take place in New York. This obviously means one hell of roller coaster ride. But that’s pretty much the plot of the story.

After the lead couple, we are then introduced to Lara Dutta, Boman Irani, Karan Johar and Riteish Deshmukh.

Oh, and Sushant Singh Rajput and ‘Baahubali’ star Rana Daggubati also make an appearance, leaving us like…

While the star cast definitely is the major point of attraction in the trailer, you can obviously expect some lame AF jokes including Karan Johar (who btw is playing a double role) making fun of his own movies.
