Ranveer Singh and out-of-the-world outfits go hand in hand. By now, we are so used to seeing him in quirky outfits that when we see him wearing a simple tee and jeans, we just cannot handle it.

So, as expected, the Filmfare Awards saw Ranveer being his usual self in an outfit that would put other ‘normal’ suits to shame. In case you haven’t seen it till now, then we are warning you: it is EXTRA AF.

The novel took the world by storm and when we heard that Spielberg is bringing it on celluloid, our happiness knew no bounds.

The movie is set in 2045 where the Earth as we know it, has basically just reduced down to slum-like cities due to overpopulation, pollution, corruption, and climate change. But people have found an escape and that is to engage in the virtual reality world of the OASIS (Ontologically Anthropocentric Sensory Immersive Simulation).

However, when the creator of OASIS dies, he leaves behind the ownership with the first person who will find a hidden treasure within OASIS by playing games and solving puzzles.

The trailer, for obvious reasons, managed to break the internet and made us desperate to watch the movie. However, since the release seems to be a little too far right now, Spielberg is here to calm us down a little.

With a new teaser, titled ‘See the Future’, the author of the novel, Ernest Cline pays tribute to Spielberg and his work. He confesses that without Spielberg’s movies, he wouldn’t have been able to become the author that he is today and that ‘Ready Player One’ wouldn’t have been born.

Further, we see Spielberg talking about his inspiration behind the film and offer us more insight into his thought process. And we have got to admit; it is always a delight to see a legend like him talk about what goes into making his out-of-the-world movies.

Siddhanth Kapoor says there is no competition with his sister and actress Shraddha Kapoor and that he is very proud of her. Asked if there was any competition with Shraddha because both belong to the same industry, Siddhanth told IANS from Mumbai, “There is no competition with my sister. I really do not see it like that. I think every brother who has a sister doing so well will always be proud no matter what. I am always just so proud of my sister.”

The brother-sister duo featured together in the film Haseena Parkar, which aired on &Pictures on Saturday. Siddhanth played underworld don Dawood Ibrahim and Shraddha essayed the role of his sister Haseena Parkar. Siddhanth described working with Shraddha as “absolutely amazing”.

“Working with my sister was absolutely amazing. I would definitely love to work with her again. It was so much fun. We learnt a lot in life together when we were young and on this film now. So, it was an amazing experience. We played very intense characters but we had a great time for sure,” he added. But the box office response of the biographical crime film, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, disappointed Siddhanth, who is the son of actor Shakti Kapoor.

Was there any pressure to work with a family member? “There is no pressure when I work with my family. It’s just a lot of fun.” He made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with the film “Shootout at Wadala” and since then has featured in films like “Ugly” and “Jazbaa”. Talking about his upcoming work, Siddhanth said, “I have two releases this year. I just finished J.P. Dutta’s ‘Paltan’ and I have got a release with Akshay Oberoi, Ravi Kishan and Radhika Apte in the lead called ‘Bombariya’.”

There have been hushed whispers about the developments on the set of Shashank Khaitan’s Dhadak, starring newbies Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter. On Saturday, producer Karan Johar took to Twitter to say that the film is releasing on July 20. When the project rolled last month, Karan Johar announced that it will release on July 6.

Though the producer did not spell out the reasons for the postponement, it has set tongues wagging about the preparedness of one of the cast members. The said actor is apparently doing a crash course in getting the act right before the next schedule rolls at a later date. The reason for the delay?

Five women have accused Franco of sexual misconduct, including four of his former students and an ex-girlfriend. He has denied the allegations. He has been criticised for wearing a Time’s Up pin to the Golden Globes. “How could a person publicly stand by an organisation that helps to provide support for victims of sexual assault while privately preying on people who have no power?” Johansson said without addressing him by his name. “I want my pin back, by the way,” she said.
