Blast From The Past: This Picture Of Katrina Kaif andamp Neha Dhupia With Gaddafi Is Driving The Internet Crazy

Well, whatever Katrina Kaif does becomes news. It’s fact! From her personal style to her latest film, she is all over social media making headlines. However, this time it’s a strange situation from her past that is taking the Internet by storm.

It’s a throwback photo that is creating all the wrong kinds of buzz on social media. The ‘EK Tha Tiger’ actress is seen seated with infamous Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi.

Before Katrina made it big the Bollywood, she tried her hand in modelling. The picture that is going around the internet was taken 15 years ago when Katrina visited Libya for a private fashion show. The snap also features other Indian models and actresses like Neha Dhupia and Aditi Gowitrikar.

Model Shamita Singha was the one who shared this photo and wrote, “Almost 15 years ago when we all were in Libya for a fashion show and had the privilege of meeting the man Mr. Gaddafi himself! Girls! Remember this trip??”

When this picture was taken, Gaddafi was literally feared as a dictator. He was also known to be surrounded by his female bodyguards. Yeah, the man had a crew of females who were called the Amazonians.

We got to say even then Katrina and Neha looked great. However, now the photo has been removed by Shamita and we wonder why?

On the work front, Katrina is busy promoting her upcoming film ‘Jagga Jasoos’ and has also started shooting for her next flick ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ with Salman Khan.

Sarangi Maestro Dhruba Ghosh passes away

Sarangi maestro Pandit Dhruba Ghosh passed away at his residence due to massive heart attack today morning. He was the Son of late Tabla Legend Pandit Nikhil Ghosh. He was 59.

He had received the Sangeet Natak Akademi award. He had also received the Grammy award for his album with chinese string ensemble.

Besides performing in India and overseas, he was the Principal of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in Mumbai. He was the brother of well-known tabla and sitar maestro Pandit Nayan Ghosh.

Amarnath Yatra terror attack: SRK, Akshay Kumar, other Bollywood celebs offer condolences to victims

Bollywood celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Shabana Azmi, Akshay Kumar and Anupam Kher have offered condolences to the victims of the Amarnath Yatra terror attack and demanded a strong action against the perpetrators.

On Monday night, seven pilgrims — six women, one man — were killed and 19 others injured when militants attacked an unescorted bus at Khanabal, Anantnag district on the Srinagar-Jammu highway. All the victims hailed from Gujarat.

The bus was returning from Baltal to Mir Bazar after darshan. The militants also carried out two attacks on security forces in the area.

Here is what the celebrities have tweeted:

Shah Rukh Khan: Saddening to see innocent lives being taken. Prayers for the victims and may God give strength to the families of the Amarnath Yatra pilgrims.

He will turn 75 this year, but there’s no sign of slowing down as far as work is concerned for megastar Amitabh Bachchan. He says his work diary could even spill into 2019, and he wonders if it’s “too ambitious”. Big B seemed to have been in a contemplative mood when he wrote his blog on Sunday night.

He wrote: “Idleness invites complacency… Begs it to be of immense disinterest and lethargic in nature… Binds you in an embrace that you find difficult to get out of. It is the fortune of goodness that I begin work in earnest again by tomorrow… ‘102 Not Out’ starts again and hopefully shall be the end of the film, by the end of the month or a few days into August.

“And then begins the ABC of ‘KBC’… And then some more projects… And the greater time for ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’… And on and on till most of the end of 2018 and perhaps spilling over into 2019… And then some more for consideration… And you wonder… Is it not too ambitious to be thinking so far and beyond.” Big B will turn a year older in October. His experimentation with films continues and his joy to host ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ seems palpable.

In “102 Not Out”, the actor plays onscreen father to Rishi Kapoor, while in “Thugs Of Hindostan”, he features with Aamir Khan for the first time.

Shalini adds, “I’m blessed to complete nine years of marriage and it all seems so fresh and exciting till date from the beginning. There is no dullness in our life. We are like teenagers, mad and crazy people filled up with love for each other. I feel like have been succeed to balance my acting career with being a wife and mother. My family is happy and thats my reward. This anniversary we both have planned to grow spiritually too. We believe couple who are on the same level spiritually cope much better with each other.”
