SLMAN The trailer of Salman Khan – Katrina Kaif starer Tiger Zinda Hai released yesterday and literally broke the internet. The trailer promises some intense action sequences, strong plot line and of course the phenomenal spy Salman Khan.
Trade experts, film fraternity and the audience are all praises for the trailer and have already called it a super hit movie of the year.

Tiger Zinda Hai is slated to release on December 22 but even before its release, the film has beaten the record of Shah Rukh Khan starer Raees. Here’s how.

The trailer of Tiger Zinda Ha released digitally on 7th November and in just 24 hours, the film’s trailer crossed 26 Million views. Shattering all the existing records, the film has created history. Tiger Zinda Hai has successfully managed to be the first Bollywood film to receive the highest views in just 24 hours.

On Youtube, Tiger Zinda Hai clocked 17 million views whereas Raees had touched 12.7 million views. Talking about the overall statistics, Tiger Zinda Hai garnered 29 million views in total whereas Raees had received 21 million views.

Shah Rukh Khan’s film Raees entered the 100 crore club in just 6 days of its release. We are waiting to see if Salman’s film will be able to beat this one.

Salman Khan strongly abides by his film ‘Wanted’s famous dialogue, “Ek Baar Jo Maine Commitment Kar Di, Uske Baad Toh Main Apne Aap Ki Bhi Nahin Sunta” (Once if I commit, I do not even listen to myself). The superstar’s no-intimacy policy still remains intact, despite his contemporaries Shah Rukh Khan and Ajay Devgn bending the clause for giving in to the need of the hour. Salman and Katrina Kaif’s upcoming Christmas bonanza, ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ had a sequence of intense intimacy between the former couple. However, a Deccan Chronicle report says that Salman refused to kiss Katrina’s luscious lips.

“Everyone felt that just this one time, just once, Salman would break his no-kissing code because the sequence is vital to the plot and also because, well, it’s Katrina. But Salman refused outright. Director Ali Abbas Zafar tried his best to convince him. However, nothing worked. The scene has been dropped now,” says a source in the know.

The 52-year-old has always maintained the no-intimacy clause with his leading ladies in the thought of being considered a prude. Not only this, he also has another clause, wherein, he’s stated that he would never play an antagonist or any character that has grey shades to it. The film which proved to be a turning point in contemporary Shah Rukh Khan’s career, ‘Baazigar’s this negative character was rejected by Salman Khan for the aforesaid reasons.

Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ is the sequel to Kabir Khan’s 2012 directorial, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, the trailer of which was released on Tuesday at the production house Yash Raj Film’s Studio. The Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer releases on December 22.

With the release of some remarkable movies like ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’, and a couple more lined up for the next two months, 2017 has been quite an eventful year for Bollywood so far. While, most of us are looking forward to Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’, let’s not forget that Salman Khan is right behind him, all set to blow our minds away with ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.

Yash Raj Films today dropped the much-awaited trailer of the movie and we have now officially lost our chill. In 2012, Tiger, an Indian spy came into our lives along with his leading lady, Zoya (Katrina Kaif) who turned out to be a Pakistani agent. The two love birds disappeared from the radar of RAW and ISI and while we were dreaming about the two living a happy life, chilling on a beach with their kids; turns out that spies can’t stay away from beating the lights out of bad guys for long.

Fast forward five years and our lethal duo are back in action, this time for a combined mission to eliminate a common enemy, Abu Usman, whose accent is harder to decode than a doctor’s prescription. But, we guess Salman can decipher his language, so he was summoned (don’t ask how the agencies got hold of him now when they couldn’t in 2012, technology maybe) to take the matter in his hands.

Set in the backdrop of Iraq, an evil dictator and his terrorist organisation kidnaps a group of Indian nurses, Salman’s mission is to save them from their evil clutches. In the first few seconds of the trailer, you realize what you are signing up for –killer fighting sequences, shots being fired and bombs exploding everywhere, cars and buildings blowing up and lots and lots of classic kickass action. Don’t get confused, Rohit Shetty is not a part of this film, other directors too can blow up cars like a pro. The trailer looks amazing and there’s not even a single frame that will make you snooze.

While Salman was possibly chugging down some magical potion that was originally kept hidden with Rambo, James Bond or Terminator; Katrina Kaif seems to have taken a sip as well before dealing with the bad guys. From killing terrorists with a gun that’s bigger than her face without blinking an eyelid and taking down enemies like it’s nobody’s business; Katrina is the new superhero in the block, sans the power of Wonder Woman.

Salman Khan and epic dialogues go hand in hand and he continues this legacy in this one too. “Shikaar to sab karte hai, lekin Tiger se behtar shikaar koi nahi karta.” We won’t be surprised if this statement goes down in the golden pages of Bollywood as one of the most intense dialogues ever (for reasons most of us are already aware of), after Gabbar’s “Kitne Aadmi The” and Shahenshah’s “Rishte me to hum tumhare baap lagte hai.”

The trailer looks promising and Ali Abbar Zafar has done a commendable job in turning ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ into a spy movie that every Hollywood or Bollywood actor would like to be a part of. The movie is slated to release on December 22.

But the wait is over, as Salman is back on heavy-duty action in his upcoming film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, alongside the beautiful Katrina Kaif. Well, since its official announcement, the film has created a massive buzz and we can’t wait to see the duo together on screen after a long time.

However, what makes us even more excited is the fact that the Sultan of Bollywood is getting into the skin of Tiger and shooting some exceptional action sequences.

Talking about Salman’s role during a press meet, filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar said, “When you feature a superstar like Salman Khan, who is known to pull his weight for a film’s action, you need to have weaponry that suits his stature and also fit in with the scale of Tiger Zinda Hai.”

But bringing this scene to life wasn’t as easy as it sounds. This machine gun weighs around 25-30 kg and when you add magazine of cartridges it just tends to get heavier, so you can only imagine the pressure on Salman.

“This fight sequence is part from a very crucial chapter in the film, and the weapon needed to match the scale and impact of this moment. For this scene, Salman fired around 5000 cartridges, over 3 consecutive days. It actually becomes one of the most iconic shots of the film. Because the gun was being used continuously, we needed to keep two such weapons ready for use. It generates extreme heat and we worked in very hot conditions. We had to flip the gun continuously, and keep both in perfect functioning condition,” he added.

To get this scene the desired look, Zafar took the assistance of action coordinator Tom Struthers who has worked in ‘The Dark Knight’ and ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ fame, which makes us even more excited for it.

Katrina Kaif not in a hurry to choose her upcoming projects

katrina Katrina Kaif’s upcoming film Tiger Zinda Hai also starring Salman Khan is making noise for all the right reasons. Salman has started the verbal promotions for the film’s December release.

Post this film we will be seeing Katrina in Thugs of Hindostan with superstars like Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Fatima Sana Shaikh for which she has already started shooting. She also has Anand L Rai’s untitled film under her name which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma.

So, Katrina’s all the upcoming projects are with the three khans of Bollywood. Now, these projects with the khans appear to be great for Katrina’s career. However, the buzz is that the actress is not in a hurry to choose her upcoming projects.

A source revealed to a leading website, “Katrina is currently busy shooting for her films and she has decided to do certain number of films with only establish actors. So she is taking her own time to decide on her next films”.

News was that Katrina was offered some films with the newcomer actors in the past but she chose to turn them down for reasons best known to her. It is also been reported that the actress is cautious while signing new projects as her latest films Jagga Jasoos, Fitoor and Baar Baar Dekho failed miserably at the box office.

Rumours of Katrina featuring in Vikas Bahl’s next Super 30 with Hrithik Roshan were also doing rounds after her pictures with Vikas went viral on the internet. However, Katrina has denied signing any projects at present.

We can see a wounded Salman holding a gun and his intense look is captivating. The poster has a tagline ‘No one Hunts like a wounded Tiger’ and Salman has truly justified the tagline. Didn’t he?

The film stars Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Angad Bedi, Sudeep, and Paresh Rawal in the leading roles. Directed by Ali Abbas Zaffar, “Tiger Zinda Hai” is scheduled to release on 22nd December, 2017.

Ali while talking about this film had said in an interview, “Shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai was grueling, challenging and a whole lot of fun. We’ve shot across pristine, relatively unseen locations in Austria, Morocco and shot on a huge lot in Abu Dhabi along with other spots”.

“Right from the infrastructure, to the support that the local military has given us, shooting here was smooth and a great collaborative experience. Tiger and Zoya’s second outing is going to be larger than life, and the shoot lives up to that”, he adds.

Filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar has thanked the Abu Dhabi Air Force for the support they gave for the shooting his upcoming film ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, and for felicitating him.

Zafar on Wednesday shared a photograph, where an official is seen felicitating him with a trophy. “Thank you Abu Dhabi Air Force for all the support for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ and special facilitation (felicitation),” Zafar captioned the image.

The team of ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ was shooting in Abu Dhabi for a 65-day schedule from May 4 at multiple locations in the city. A set wabeing designed by some of those workers who helped to build the ‘Star Wars’ set in 2013.

The Yash Raj Films (YRF) project is a sequel to the blockbuster film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. It stars superstar Salman Khan and actress Katrina Kaif. This is not the first time Salman and Katrina will be seen together. The two have previously worked in films like ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, ‘Yuvvraj’, ‘Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya’ and ‘Partner’.

Deepika Padukone to romance Salman Khan in Kick 2 ?

After the Jai Ho debacle, Kick paved way for Salman to reign supreme at the box office and since then he hasn’t looked back. There have been talks of a sequel being made since a couple of years now and recently reports claimed that the script is being worked upon with the film hitting the floors soon and releasing during Christmas 2019. Fans got excited and thought Salman and Jacqueline, who shared a sizzling chemistry in Kick, would set the screens on fire once again. However, let us tell you that you might not see Jacqueline Fernandez in the sequel. Apparently, the makers want a fresh pairing for Kick 2 as this one is going to be a very different film with a few new characters. To take the franchise forward and to make the film bigger and better, they wanted an actress who hasn’t worked with Salman yet. And looks like they have found their match. According to our sources, Deepika Padukone will star in Kick 2 in place of Jacqueline and will be seen romancing Salman.

Several Salman and Deepika fans have wanted them to collaborate for a film since ages. In fact, Salman had even joked about it when Deepika had visited him on the sets of Bigg Boss 10. And looks like everyone’s wish might finally come true. As a source close to the development revealed to us exclusively, “Deepika Padukone is being considered for Kick 2 with the film going on floors sometime next year. As Jacqueline and Salman are already working together in Race 3, it only makes sense to give audience a fresh pairing. However, the final call is up to Sajid and Salman.”

In the meantime, Salman Khan is currently shooting for Tiger Zinda Hai, post which he will begin the shoot for Race 3 along with Jacqueline. Salman Khan wraps up Abu Dhabi schedule of Tiger Zinda Hai

Superstar Salman Khan has wrapped up a “great schedule” for his upcoming film “Tiger Zinda Hai” in Abu Dhabi.

Salman, 51, on Thursday tweeted that he had a wonderful time shooting in the country.

“Leaving Abu Dhabi after a great schedule of 50 days for ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, had a wonderful time,” the “Dabangg” star tweeted.

The team of “Tiger Zinda Hai” was shooting in Abu Dhabi for a 65-day schedule from May 4 at multiple locations in the city. A set was being designed by some of those workers who helped to build the “Star Wars” set in 2013.

The Yash Raj Films (YRF) project is a sequel to the blockbuster film “Ek Tha Tiger”. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, it also features actress Katrina Kaif.

This is not the first time Salman and Katrina will be seen together.

The two have previously worked in films like “Ek Tha Tiger”, “Yuvvraaj”, “Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?” and “Partner”.
