Madonna: I want to reinvent pop tours

Singer Madonna says she is exploring the idea of doing a show that doesn’t travel the world, but stays in one place and is more intimate.

Back in 1990, Madonna set the template for modern pop concerts with her Blond Ambition world tour. From its hydraulic stage to Jean-Paul Gaultier’s iconic costumes, it raised the bar for stadium-sized spectacle.

Now, after seven world tours, the star says she is “exploring” a smaller-scale show in the future. “I’ve done so many shows and tours in stadiums and sports arenas that I feel like I have to reinvent that now too. I like doing intimate shows and being able to talk directly to the audience,” said the singer.

“This is something I’m exploring the idea of doing a show that doesn’t travel the world, but stays in one place and utilises not only humour and the music in a more intimate setting, but other people’s music, as well, and other entertainment,” she adds.

“A revolving door of amazing, gifted, unique talent — dancers, musicians, singers, comedians and me. I don’t know. I’m trying to come up with all those ideas now,” Madonna adds.

Kareena Kapoor Khan has put speculation to rest about Taimur being part of Veere Di Wedding. In a video shared by the film’s Instagram handle yesterday, the actor says, “No, but his mother is in the film.

I think that’s enough na? It’s either me or him. Rhea (Kapoor, producer) can’t afford both.” The video also has Rhea say, “It’s out of my budget.” As the nine-month-old accompanies Bebo on the set, there was talk of him doing a cameo.

Sona Mohapatra Calls Out On Kangana's Controversial Interview In An Open Letter

Kangana Ranaut left everyone in utter shock and disbelief when she gave one hell of an interview last week, with Rajat Sharma, the host of India TV show’s ‘Aap Ki Adalat’. She was definitely in a tell-all mood as she didn’t shy away from any of the allegations or questions that were posed to her. However, what caught everybody’s attention were her candid answers concerning her ex-beau Hrithik Roshan.

Fans and the Bollywood fraternity went into frenzy as the actress revealed personal details about their relationship and didn’t mince her words, at all. Some appreciated her for having the guts to speak so openly on a public platform, whereas the interview didn’t go down well with others. One of them is Bollywood singer, Sona Mohapatra.

Sona, who is known for her bold and outspoken personality, took to her Facebook account to address Kangana’s latest interview. In an open letter to Kangana, she revealed what all she feels about her revelations.

She is of the opinion that the interview was a “part of a professional PR campaign” before Kangana’s next film, ‘Simran’ is released and says that the PR stunt was “in bad taste”.

She goes on to inculcate the issue of topic of feminism by saying that, “it does a big dis-service to the cause of feminism & fair play.” She even went ahead and called the entire situation as “circus” and ended the post on an unrelated note, by wishing the readers a “Happy Onam”.

The allegations made by Kangana in this interview also received a rather ‘subtle’ response from Hrithik’s ex-wife, Sussanne Khan. The ace interior designer came out in her ex-husband’s support and posted a selfie on her Twitter account. The whole Kangana-Hrithik feud came into the limelight last year, when Kangana received a legal notice from Hrithik asking for an apology for referring to him as her ‘silly ex’ in an interview. Kangana then began to share the details of an alleged affair with Hrithik, which was repeatedly denied by latter.

Although Hrithik has not responded to the interview yet, the open letter from Sona has definitely added fuel to the fire and we can only wonder what Kangana has to say on this.

Things didn’t just stop there though, as she slammed the Roshans and revealed explosive things about Hrithik, shunning all the rumours once and for all.

In an interview, she went on record and said, “He runs away when he sees me. In fact, when we broke up in 2014 and after that one year when he was harassing me and stalking me, I complained to his father. I told him that his son is harassing me, stalking me, has hacked my account and he’s not letting me get into any other relationship. So his father said I’m going to arrange a meeting for you. Since then, I’m hoping to get a meeting with him to have a two-word conversation with him and ask him that he’s telling the world he doesn’t know me.”

She also said, “I’m still waiting to meet him face-to-face and exchange two words on this and sort this out, but he’s been running and hiding from me. He and his father have made fools of themselves, they should apologise to me in public. Even if they don’t, I will clarify to the world what happened to the case. The case has not died down. They couldn’t prove anything.”

Talking about sleepless nights she said, “I have faced so much humiliation. I cried for nights. I was unable to sleep. Emails on my name were released and people still Google them and gossip. Mujhe is badtameezi ki maafi chahiye.”

Well, looking at these interviews one got to say that she is a badass woman who isn’t frightened to speak her mind. She openly slammed Hrithik and now it looks like ex-wife Sussane Khan has come to his rescue. The Sussanne Khan-Arjun Rampal ‘frienship’was at one point very talked about in Bollywood. It was due to Sussanne and Arjun’s friendship, which some claim to have caused friction between Hrithik Roshan and Sussanne, which ultimately led to their divorce. Arjun Rampal’s marriage with former model Mehr Jesia was also rumoured to be on the rocks, because of his ‘friendshiop’, it seems like he stuck to his wife and decided to give it another shot. Arjun had reportedly distanced himself from Sussanne Khan and she took keeps cordial relations with ex-husband, Hrithik Roshan. In fact, there was a story that Sussanne Khan and Mehr Jesia had gotten into a fight at a party, which led to the latter storming out of the party.

Arjun Rampal, who is currently promoting his film ‘Daddy’ is going all out with the promotions. He posted a poster of his film, introducing the other characters in the film. And guess who liked this poster! It was none other than his one time ‘good’ pal, Sussanne Khan. She liked the poster, even though Arjun and her don’t follow each other on social media. Guess, she decided to go out of her way to extend an olive branch towards Arjun.

Apart from Arjun, the film also features Farhan Akhtar and Aishwarya Rajesh. Daddy is co-written and directed by Ashim Ahluwalia. Daddy will hit theatres on September 8 and is all set to clash with Saif Ali Khan’s Kaalakaandi and Sunny Deol-Bobby Deol starrer Poster Boys.

Hrithik Roshan inks a whopping Rs 100-crore deal

According to reports, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan has inked a massive Rs 100-crore deal with Indian health and wellness startup company Cure.fit.

The Economic Timesreported that Hrithik Roshan will have a five-year association with the company and the amount paid to him includes his equity stake in the company in lieu of cash investment, promotions and royalty from his personal brand HRX’s specialised workout plan.

The report further states that HRX Workout offering is expected to rake in Rs 250-crore annual business in the coming years.

“The idea behind this workout is to help people move better, faster and feel athletic by progressing gradually. Since its introduction the response to the HRX Workout (at Cult fitness centers) has been welcoming with an ever increasing roster of participants. We are delighted with this initial response and it also gives us great confidence to look at reaching out to newer markets and further the HRX vision through this partnership,” Hrithik Roshan told the newspaper.

On the Bollywood front, Hrithik Roshan was last seen in ‘Kaabil’ that released in January this year. He will next be working on Krissh 4′, followed by Vikas Bahl’s biopic on Patna mathematician Anand Kumar.
