Shah Rukh Khan to dance on Shashi Kapoor’s Humko Tum Pe Pyar Aayain in Aanand L Rai’s next!

SRK-dancing-on-a-mashup-of- Shah Rukh Khan has already begun shooting for his next film with Aanand L Rai. The actor will be seen playing a midget in the movie that also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

We had already told you earlier that SRK’s team at Red Chillies VFX is working on the special effects of the film and will be using the same technology as was used in Hollywood movies like The Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit. This is surely going to change the use of technology in Indian cinema.

Now, if latest reports are to be believed then Shah Rukh will also be seen dancing on a hit song of Shashi Kapoor in the film. A MidDay report suggests that the film will have a special revisited version of Shashi Kapoor’s popular track Humko Tum Pe Pyar Aaya. A source close to the film’s development informed the tabloid, “SRK will be seen dancing to the classic from Jab Jab Phool Khile (1965). It’s an amusing sequence.”

In fact, the movie couldn’t even cross the Rs 100 crore mark in the first five days, which is quite unlikely for a Salman Khan starrer, especially, when it’s released during the festivities of Eid.

But did you know that certain cinema halls abroad are trying to cash in on the name of Shah Rukh Khan to bring in the audience for the Salman Khan film? Yes, that’s what’s happening in Brussels, Belgium. A MidDay report suggests that when a Salman fan went to catch a show of his latest release Tubelight, he was in fir a shock on seeing that the theatre was referring to Tubelight as a Shah Rukh Khan starrer.

SRK only has a cameo in Tubelight and it’s well known that the protagonist of the film is Salman and not Shah Rukh. We do understand that even Salman’s star power couldn’t convince the audience to throng to the theatres but that doesn’t imply that one would pass off the film as a Shah Rukh starrer and fool the fans.

Salman Khan shared that when director Kabir Khan narrated the film, he just knew that Shah Rukh Khan had to play that role. It was just a call and without any discussion, SRK gave a heads-up for the role. Watching the two was indeed a treat and there is a possibility that they might reunite again on the silver screen very soon.

Well, if reports are to be believed, Salman Khan will be playing a cameo in Aanand L Rai’s next, where Shah Rukh will be seen playing a dwarf. The film also stars Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

Speaking to DNA, SRK said, “There is a guest appearance in Aanand’s film that I’d like Salman to consider. We are still working on it. But, I would like him to play the role.”

Now isn’t that really good news for bhai fans? It is believed that Salman might be playing himself in the film but Badshah is not ready to spill the beans yet and prefers to keep it a secret till the end. Definitely, this is just making us more curious. Well, keeping our fingers crossed!

The censor board chief Pahlaj Nihalani is famous for coming up with bizarre problems when it comes to clearing a film. Nihalani who himself has made some good numbers of raunchy films recently objected to the usage of word ‘intercourse’ in the mini trailers of Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’.

In the Trailer Sejal (Anushka) clearly tells Harry (SRK) that he is absolved of all legal charges in the case of sexual intercourse between them. And the CBFC being its extreme sanskari self is bound to have a problem with this word. As per Nihalani’s standards, man you can do it but dare not say it!

Importantly, he is ready to clear it if he gets 1 lakh people voting in favour of the usage of the word. But conditions apply: Millennials can’t really vote. The minimum age to vote is 36-year-old and you should be married, as the boss man won’t settle for votes from unmarried people.

FYI: Mr. Nihalani we are the land of Kamasutra, how about just broadening your horizons a little bit…just a bit?

With this controversy going around finally, Shah Rukh Khan finally shared his views. During a media interaction he gave an epic reply being his witty self and said, “I think I am below 18, so I cannot vote.”

He also added that the film has nothing derogatory in it and will be a fun to watch.

“On a serious note, neither I nor anyone in the film – Imtiaz, Irshad sahab, Pritam or anyone would use any disrespectful word, that hurts a family or anyone’s sentiment. We are yet to send the film to the censors and they should watch the whole film to decide,” King Khan said.

“The film has still not gone to the censors. Maybe out of context things they didn’t like. But when they see the whole film, they will understand the context and hopefully everything will be okay,” added SRK and said if still, censor has issues they are open to changing it.

Other than this, SRK and Anushka are also working together for Aanand L Rai’s film. Well, it’s no doubt that this Jodi does wonders on box office and we can’t wait to watch them again. ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ is scheduled to hit the theatres on August 4.

Within just hours of Salman Khan’s ‘Tubelight’ release, recorded clips from the film have made their way onto a number of social networking handles. One scene in particular scene that has been flooding these portals is the much talked about cameo by Shah Rukh Khan.

While the makers only unveiled a silhouette of SRK in the film’s trailer, a number of fan clubs and movie goers have gone ahead and posted estimated 2-4 minute clips online.

It had been reported that Shah Rukh will be seen playing a magician – Go-Go Pasha, who Salman’s character Laxman meets, at a crucial point in the story. In the series of images and videos doing the rounds, Shah Rukh looks like an Indian magician with a colourfully embroidered waistcoat, kohled eyes, harem pants and a tattoo on his face.

According to reports, many trade analysts predicted a boot in ‘Tubelight’ collections because of Shah Rukh Khan’s appearance. It remains to be seen how the team tackles this bump in the road.

In fact, even about SRK’s role, Salman said, “When Kabir narrated the subject to me, he said, ‘For this role, we should get Shah Rukh.’ So, when I called him and I told him that there is a small role in ‘Tubelight’ which I would like you to do it, before completing my sentence, Shah Rukh said, ‘I will do it.’ That’s how he made his entry into the movie.”.

He will be seen doing a full-fledged romantic character in Imtiaz Ali’s film, but somehow makers haven’t yet let you feel so. There is a freshness and novelty to SRK and Anushka’s sparkling on-screen chemistry as revealed by Jab Harry Met Sejal mini trails. Instead of a trailer, the film will have eight such Jab Harry Met Sejal trails out of which three have already been released.

But self-proclaimed critic KRK thinks otherwise. In his latest review of Jab Harry Met Sejal mini trails, while KRK stays away from trolling them, he did cause some damage. KRK not only revealed the plot of the whole film but also drew a comparison between Jab Harry Met SejaL with Shah Rukh’s classic 1995 movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.

KRK while revealing the plot of the story says, “Anushka Sharma who belongs to Gujarat is already engaged. She wants to travel all over the Europe before getting married. Anushka meets Shah Rukh Khan who is a tour guide in Europe. Both Anushka and SRK travel all over the Europe. After completing her tour, Anushka calls her fiancee and says she is returning back to India. But Anushka also finds out that her engagement ring is lost and when she informs her fiancee about it, he asks Anushka to bring that ring at any cost.”

“Anushka who is now forced to find her ring asks Shah Rukh to help her in finding the ring. SRK takes Anushka to all the places they had visited during their short tour and in the journey, both fall in love with each other. But Anushka eventually finds out that her engagement ring is in her purse only but she couldn’t locate it in the first place,” KRK adds.

KRK also says that Jab Harry Met Sejal is the same old story of Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge with a twist of the ring. The self-proclaimed critic also asks Shah Rukh this, “If I have seen you in the same role 25 years ago, why would I see you again repeating the same act. If you would have been able to imbue same magic in such roles, why Aditya Chopra wouldn’t have cast you in Befikre instead of Ranveer Singh?”
