Shah Rukh Khan’s collaboration with American DJ Diplo for the song, Phurrr, in Jab Harry Met Sejal has already made news. The actor recently shot a promotional video of the number with the Grammy winner, in the sunny vistas of Los Angeles.
Talking about his shoot, Khan tells mid-day, “Diplo had a show in Miami, but he postponed it and flew down to LA instead.”
Khan further reveals that he was not supposed to be a part of the song originally. “I went on the set to meet him. But, he insisted on me being a part of the video, and I had to oblige. He showed me some swag moves, and I just copied him.”
The duo bonded over Indian culture. “Diplo has spent a lot of time in Kolkata, so he loves India and our culture. He was sweet enough to give me a jacket of his record label, Mad Decent.”
Diplo was accompanied by his kids, Lockett and Lazer Pentz, who are big fans of SRK. “I was surprised that his sons knew of me. Unfortunately, my kids couldn’t come because it was an early morning shoot,” he informs.
After Shahrukh Khan's movie – ‘Fan' which was entirely based on a character who was his lookalike, a lot of pictures surfaced on the internet of men paying tribute to SRK by trying to dress up like him. But, none of the lookalikes seemed even close to the one that we have got here, who himself is a big fan of King Khan.
Just last week, we found Ryan Gosling's doppleganger, and everyone lost their minds when they saw the pictures.

Shah Rukh Khan and Imtiaz had recently visited the city of Ahmedabad to meet the maximum number of Sejals from the city!
The makers in an innovative marketing practice had initiated a contest led by SRK that would result in the actor visiting the city that resides majority Sejals and launch the first track titled “Raadha” along with them!
In the process, more than 7000 Sejals across the country reached out to Harry!
Sejal which is usually assumed to be a girl’s name, surprised the team when a few boys named Sejal landed up at the venue! This definitely took the team and SRK& Imtiaz by a pleasant surprise.
Not letting them down, SRK met the boy Sejals too and made their day. In fact, the actor also made sure that they were a part of all the girl Seals and were part of the song launch activity!
Although, the story of boys named as Sejals got the entire team very fascinated.
In ‘Jab Harry met Sejal’ Shah Rukh Khan essays the role of a rooted Punjabi guy who travels to Canada for work.
Presented by Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘Jab Harry met Sejal’ is directed by Imtiaz Ali. The film is all set to release on August 4th, 2017.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan returned to Mumbai to launch the song ‘Hawayein’ from ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’, but his wife Gauri Khan and kids Suhana and AbRam are still in vacation mode!
Gauri Khan, along with her son AbRam and daughter Suhana, are having a fun time on the beaches of Malibu in Los Angeles. Gauri took to Instagram to share a picture of her with the kids soaking under the sun.
Gauri Khan captioned the photo, “The classic stretch of sand #malibubeach (sic)”
SRK and Gauri, with children Suhana and AbRam, took a trip to Los Angeles, where their son Aryan is currently studying a filmmaking course.

On the work front, SRK released a new song titled ‘Hawayein’ from ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ last night in Mumbai. ‘Hawayein’ is a love song and will further give us insights into the love story of Harry and Sejal. To celebrate the essence of the song, ‘Hawayein’ was launched at a Sundowner in Juhu, by the beachside at the romantic Sunset.

The team of Jab Harry Met Sejal has been coming up with innovative strategies to promote their film. After ‘Radha’ was launched amidst the ‘Sejals’ of Ahmedabad, ‘Beech Beech mein’ was launched club crawling in Mumbai, ‘Butterfly’ was launched in the Punjabi frolic.
With only a few days left to the release of the film, the anticipation for ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ is at its peak. The songs and the trailer have been garnering a great response churning the excitement for the film all the more.

When Shahrukh Khan first shared a picture with Diplo, everyone was curious about the collaboration and how it would turn out. On Sunday, it was confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan will be teaming up with American DJ Diplo for a new song for his upcoming movie 'Jab Harry Met Sejal'.
The music artist posted awesome pictures of their meeting on Instagram, writing, “Working on something wild with the legend @iamsrk.”

In the picture, SRK is seen wearing a white vest, dark blue pants and a leather jacket which says 'DECENT'. Diplo sported an Indian look wearing a golden jacket and pyjamas with Rudraksha and shades.
Diplo also shared some more pictures from the shoot. Moreover, SRK also met the rapper's kids as it is seen in a picture of the actor smiling gleefully at his sons, Lockett and Lazer Pentz.
SRK had met the two-time Grammy winner in Goa in February this year while the rapper was touring India and Shah Rukh Khan took out time to bond with him.

1. Darr (1993)
In a time when most leading actors wouldn't want to experiment with their roles with the fear of getting rejected by the audience, Shah Rukh Khan stepped out of his comfort zone and played an antagonist in the film. He played Rahul Mehra, the obsessive lover with such finesse, the audiences loved hating him.
2. Baazigar (1993)
Breaking the ‘lovestruck chocolate hero' image of his, Shah Rukh Khan took vengeance to a whole new level with ‘Baazigar'. He played his part so well, effortlessly switching from Vicky to Ajay. So, it can be easily touted as one of best performances.
3. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995)
DDLJ is the only Bollywood film to have complete 1000 weeks in a theatre, and it wouldn't have been even half as awesome, if it was not for Shah Rukh Khan's superlative performance. Even though there are a couple more romantic films SRK won many accolades for, like ‘Mohabbatein', ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and ‘Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham', ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge' was the one that changed Indian cinema forever! Be it the drama, or the romance, SRK aced every bit of the emotional spectrum like he was born to play Raj. If romance exists in Bollywood today, Shah Rukh Khan is the reason.
4. Dil Se… (1998)
One of the most underrated films in Bollwyood, ‘Dil Se…' proved SRK was not all about the Yash Raj glamour and candyfloss romance. ‘Dil Se…' was dark and gritty, and SRK cast himself in a completely different mould for this one. The film speaks volumes about the sincerity with which it was made. SRK's performance as Amarkant Verma was sheer brilliance. Sadly, the film never got its due.
5. Devdas (2002)
If Bimal Roy's ‘Devdas' (1955) has to be remade, it had to be done with Shah Rukh Khan as the new lead hero. No one else could have played the alcoholic lover better than this man. Sanjay Leela Bhansali's love for detail and Shah Rukh Khan's heartfelt performance made ‘Devdas' the iconic film that it is.
That Shah Rukh Khan has a goofy side to him was pretty evident in all the blockbuster romantic comedies he delivered previously. But with ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho', he literally mastered the art of comedy and took entertainment to a whole new level. His comic timing was simply impeccable in the film. And not to forget those tear-jerking moments towards the end. SRK is one man who can make you laugh and cry at the same time.
7. Veer Zaara (2004)
An India-Pakistan love story at its tender best, ‘Veer Zaara' showed ‘Shah Rukh Khan' as a brooding lover in an unforgettable performance. He captured the old world charm of romance so brilliantly well, the film transported the audiences to a different time altogether. With due credit to the director and the dialogue writers, SRK owned ‘Veer Zaara', one of the most epic Bollywood romances ever.
8. Swades (2004)
SRK played Mohan Bhargava in ‘Swades', an NRI who visits his village and is taken aback by the state it is in. One of the most revolutionary films of all times, ‘Swades' had SRK five up his superstardom and step into the shoes of a common man. The sincerity in his eyes was enough to have us know the emotions were coming straight through his heart.
9. Don – The Chase Begins Again (2006)
To remake a film that made Amitabh Bachchan the megastar that he is today was a huge feat and only Shah Rukh Khan could have made it possible with his performance. There were a lot of speculations about whether SRK would be able to fit in to the Amitabh Bachchan's shoes. But not only did he bring certain freshness to the character, he shut all the critics up with his outstanding performance. Also, considering how he was never known to be an action hero, he did a splendid job in ‘Don'.
10. Chak De India (2007)
Undoubtedly one of the best performance of his entire career, Shah Rukh Khan showed an entirely new, authoritative side to his otherwise happy, charming personality in ‘Chak De India'. He was controlled, affirmative and powerful. The famous ‘sattar minute' dialogue is one of the most inspiring scenes in Bollywood films! Need we say more?
11. My Name Is Khan (2010)
Shah Rukh Khan as a man suffering with Asperger Syndrome was so unbelievably nuanced; it proved his calibre as an actor like never before. He set the standard so high; it was unthinkable to imagine someone else playing even a remotely similar role. Watch the film and you will know there is no end to this man's talent.

Currently, SRK is in Los Angeles with his family for Aryan’s surgery. In fact, before that, he also visited Universal Studios and shared pictures of him and AbRam having a great time together.
On the work front, SRK is gearing up for the release of his film ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ also starring Anushka Sharma, where SRK will be seen playing Harry, a Punjabi munda, and Anushka will play a Gujarati character named Sejal.
The trailer of the film was released this Friday and people have loved it. The film is set to release on 4th August.
It feels as if it was only yesterday that Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Om Shanti Om’ was released, which made us realize of the importance of “ek chutki sindoor” in a woman’s life. It also helped some hopeless romantics muster courage to go to their crushes and propose with ‘shiddat’ so that the whole universe conspires to bring them together. This movie taught us how to soothe our souring hearts by reminding ourselves that if nothing is going right, then “Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost.” While, we fans took home some of those kickass words of wisdom, Japan too took something from this movie and that was…inspiration to create a Broadway style musical play.
This movie was actress Deepika Padukone’s debut movie and has already completed 10 years now. Anyone who doesn’t feel old yet? Well, the Japanese version is titled ‘Oomu Shanti Oomu’ and kicked-off in Osaka yesterday and Farah Khan, like a proud mother, was present at the opening. She even tweeted about this play that was directed by Koyanagi Naoko and staged by the Takarazuka Revue theatre group. Farah also wrote that this is Bollywood’s first film to get its own international musical adaptation.

While, we fans were getting pumped up about this play and were cheering for Om and Shanti in our hearts, there was one particular tweet that took away both the limelight and our breath at the same time. The tweet was from none other than our Om Kapoor aka King Khan who teased us with a sequel of the movie.

Farah further posted a picture of an ubercool jacket with Om written on it and like her caption we too feel that SRK would have looked killer and dapper wearing that jacket. Well, maybe they can make a sequel just to include that jacket and SRK in one frame.

Shah Rukh Khan is currently busy with his upcoming movie ‘Jab Harry Met Sejal’ opposite actress Anushka Sharma.
Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan just can’t stop doing each other favours!
First Shah Rukh Khan made a special appearance in Salman Khan’s movie ‘Tubelight’ and then we heard about how the latter is returning the favour with a cameo in for Aanand L Rai’s forthcoming movie starring SRK.
The two were recently seen shooting a song for the yet to be titled movie, which also stars Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif. When SRK was asked how difficult it was to convince Salman for this cameo, he said it was actually quite easy.
Talking about it, SRK gave a quote to PTI, “He is very kind. This (role) was written a long time back in the film, from the first narration onwards. Salman has also heard the script, I think Aanand wanted to make the film with him at one time. They didn’t have the time, things didn’t work out and VFX wasn’t ready.”
Apparently, the role was finalized when he was having a get-together at his home and Salman dropped by to give him a special gift. Salman surprised Shah Rukh and his children with his newly launched e-cycle.
“We were at home, Aanand was there when Salman just walked in to say hi to me. He got his new e-cycle for me and for Aryan and Suhana as well. Aanand said I should ask him. I said, ‘Salman, there’s one role’, he said, ‘Yeah, let me know’.”
