Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are now married.

After treating their fans with glimpses from their haldi, mehendi and sangeet ceremony, the couple has finally tied the knot in the traditional Muslim culture. The wedding took place in Bhopal, Shoaib’s hometown. Shoaib wore a traditional soft pink-coloured sherwani with golden dupatta, while Dipika opted for a dark pink lehenga and heavy jewellery. The couple looks gorgeous and happy.

Dipika and Shoaib, popularly known as ‘Shoaika’ found love while shooting for their show Sasural Simar Ka, where they played husband and wife. The two have now sworn in as husband and wife off-screen. Their wedding festivities, from the couple’s romantic photoshoot in ‘Sarson Ka Khet’ on a tractor, gave us a déjà vu from Shah Rukh Khan’s popular films, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Veer Zara.

The television couple will host a grand reception in Mumbai on February 26 for their industry friends. Dipika and Shoaib have appeared in a dance reality show together. This is Dipika’s second marriage. Earlier, she was married to her long-term boyfriend Raunaq Samson which went kaput.
