Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim found love while shooting for their show Sasural Simar Ka, where they played husband and wife. The two are now getting hitched for a lifetime. While we have already spoken about their wedding festivities and how it is giving us a déjà vu from Shah Rukh Khan’s popular films, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Veer Zara, here are some fresh pictures of the duo from their mehendi and sangeet ceremony. Both, Dipika and Shoaib were seen making merry and dancing their hearts out.

After the traditional wedding ceremony in Uttar Pradesh, they will host a grand reception in Mumbai for their industry friends. Dipika and Shoaib, popularly known as ‘Shoaika’ have appeared in a dance reality show together. This is Dipika’s second marriage. Earlier, she was married to her long-term boyfriend Raunaq Samson which went kaput.

It was on Saturday that the television couple left for Bhopal via train with their respective families and friends.

She says, “I was at a clothing store across the tube station. Suddenly people started running and screaming. Everyone was making their way to the fitting rooms. There were some noises, which people assumed were gunshots. We were := of us hiding in a trial room. Crying and trembling, we could hear a man screaming.

After about 30 minutes, the security folk helped us get out from a fire exit. I took shelter in a pub as the tube station was shut.” The scary encounter has made Shalini value life and live every moment to the fullest.
