Bigg Boss 11: Vikas Gupta threatens to reveal Shilpa Shinde's personal details

Bigg Boss 11 contestant Vikas Gupta recently had a spat with fellow contestant Shilpa Shinde. The fight turned ugly and Vikas Gupta threatened to reveal details about Shilpa Shinde’s engagement with her former co-star, Romit Raj. Romit Raj and Vikas Gupta were in a longterm relationship and were engaged to be married.

Shilpa and Romit met on the sets of the show ‘Maayka’ and were all set to get married in 2009 in Goa. However, the relationship soured and the two parted ways on an ugly note. Not just this, but their wedding was called off at the last minute. Vikas knew about this and he wanted to use it against Shilpa and run her down.

Shilpa spoke to India Today about her relationship falling apart. “My wedding preparations were done, my wedding outfit was ready, I had even bought my jewellery and the cards were also printed. It is very sad that I had to call off my marriage one month prior to the actual date. But I feel it is a wise decision and I am very happy that at least now I won’t have to make adjustments for each and every single thing. I will now be able to take my own decisions.”

After he apparently ousted Shilpa Shinde from a TV show, Vikas Gupta has been trying to mend relationships. 

Vikas Gupta had worked with Shilpa in the show ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai.’ Vikas was the programming head of the channel in which the show was aired at the time of Shilpa’s departure from it. He has admitted that he and Shilpa had a complicated past.

On first entering the ‘Bigg Boss 11’ house Vikas referred to working with Shilpa as a ‘khatarnak’. He even added that if he knew she was coming, he would have refused to be on the reality show.

Shilpa Shinde has stated that Vikas’ active involvement led to her ouster from ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain.’

Shilpa and Vikas went on to get in several arguments on ‘Bigg Boss 11.’ But, things took a surprise turn in a recent episode when both took the first step towards starting a new friendship, when Shilpa advised Vikas to keep a cool mind to survive in the house after he was admonished by Hina over his captaincy decisions.

The lawn area is converted to a cushion factory where Shilpa and Vikas will compete against each other as businessmen trying to make maximum profit. With a limited supply of money, raw materials and labor, each one has to make 75 Cushions in a stipulated time period.

The latest season of popular reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ is successfully doing its job of stirring up the entire nation thanks to the bizarre antics of the contestants living in ‘the House’. Intense discussions surrounding inmates both loved and hated in equal measure are a common sight. Somehow, even if you are not a regular watcher of the show you end up knowing at least the highlights. There is just no avoiding it!

The Bigg Boss House boasts of a nasty reputation of making the situation messier and tenser as the days progress. Bigg Boss 11: Salman Khan's Response To Zubair Khan's Demand for An Apology Is Witty AF!

Just a week inside the ‘Bigg Boss’ house and Zubair Khan did literally everything to create turbulence both inside and outside. From fighting over a bizarre issue to insulting people around, the man did everything to get the TRP’s up and the spotlight on himself.

Despite being warned several times, Zubair went on offending people in the house. Everything finally came to an end when Salman Khan lost his cool and gave Zubair a brutal reality check. Soon he was evicted out of the house but that did not stop him from remaining in the limelight. 

Since the time he has been out, he has been in news for his constant, never ending tirade against Salman, and boy it is getting on our nerves!

First, he filed an FIR against the superstar and later even demanded an apology of all the things from Bhaijaan. For a very long time, Salman stayed out of the mess but finally responded to the statement, in the most hilarious way possible. 

In a recent episode of ‘Bigg Boss’, Salman decided to grant Zubair’s wish and took a minute to apologise to him publicly. He told the viewers that he was offering his apologies for calling a contestant a ‘dog’, and you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to figure who he was taking out. 

“Last week maine kutta bola tha… Main wo comment ke liye maafi mangta hun… Main kutton se maafi mangta hun,” he said. (HA!)

With a straight face, he continued, “I apologise to all the dogs out there for comparing them to that man.” And soon burst into laughter. Oh Lord! The tears won’t stop! 

Well, he didn’t stop there, as he added the names of all his dogs and said how he feels sorry for comparing them to a certain someone because dogs are so loyal and loving. Oh we can feel the burn!

Earlier, talking to a leading daily Zubair claimed that the makers of the show asked him to come back as soon as he was thrown out of the house, but he clearly said no and demanded an apology from Salman.

Bigg Boss is the perfect show for controversy and light entertainment. Love it or hate it, people can’t stop watching the show. The love triangles, the ugly fights, the tasks, it’s all good fun!

You have a handful of contestants who try their level best to maintain peace in the house, while the rest are busy disrupting it and conspiring against the others. Some try to take a stand, and some try to maintain a balance. Well, surviving inside that house is one hell of a job and not everyone can deal with the pressure.

And, like every season there is one contestant who has been in the spotlight since the first day of the show. ‘Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai’ actor Shilpa Shinde is already creating a ton of buzz. It began with a fight with Vikas Gupta and then there was no stopping the avalanche. The next day, she fought with other contestants as well. Talk about ratings jumping through the roof!

Remember the incident with her washing utensils and Vikas apologising for his act. Things didn’t go too well, as Shilpa clearly didn’t give a damn and royally ignored him while singing a song. When people complained about her behaviour, she totally owned the fact that she wanted to be that way and is unapologetic about it. Wow! That’s one hell of a way to begin the season.

While you might think she is overdoing it, she is nailing how she wants to be perceived. Mired in controversy for the whole year, Shilpa has learned a few things and is using it to her own advantage in the BB house. From being thrown out of India’s most popular show, a ban on working as an actor to sexual harassment charges, her journey has been a roller coaster ride.

When she left the show, it totally left everyone surprised. After all, who didn’t like Angoori’s innocence and her pet dialogue, “Sahi padke hai”.

From being called unprofessional, turning up late to throwing tantrums on the set, she was literally accused of being unprofessional.  

But if you thought she was the one who would silently deal with things, you are mistaken. She gave it back big time when she lodged a FIR against the producer Sanjay Kholi stating that he had sexually harassed her.

Being vocal about it she said during a media meet, “”Sanjay ji told me that for the promotion of the show, we will have to go out and that we will have a nice time. Also, in the make-up room, he came close to me and photo lete huye and apna haath rakha mujhpe…I could feel that touch was not right.” She further added that she had shared this with her then co-star Saumya Tandon who did not take it seriously and instead said, “Humari industry mei koi rape nahi karta,”

In a rebuttal, the showrunners released a statement saying that they will see Shilpa in court. Later, she was even expelled from the Cine And TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA). CINTAA spokesperson released a statement saying that she was expelled as members voted against her and Shilpa declared that she was pleased that she wasn’t a member anymore.

Having said all that, we totally get that all this is a lot to take in. But people who have followed Shilpa are very well aware of this chapter of her life.

Some might support her, some might not like her, but like it or not, she is a controversy queen and knows it. Now, doesn’t that make her the perfect pick for the show?

Playing the victim card, she is putting her stamp on the show slowly and steadily. Though many contestants are still planning on what to do from here on out, she is all in. Bigg Boss is all about being a shark……and she is exactly that.  Kudos Shilpa, you are rocking it!
