Fukrey Returns team celebrates success with Salman Khan in Bigg Boss house

Just after Bollywood’s ‘Bhaijaan’ Salman Khan visited the team of ‘Fukrey Returns’ and gave a thumbs up to ‘Tu Mera Bhai Nahi Hai,’ the film’s team visited Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 11’ to celebrate the success of the film. The cast had a gala time on the set of ‘Bigg Boss’. Salman Khan not only congratulated the team for the initial collections and outstanding word of mouth but also expressed his interest to watch ‘Fukrey Returns’.

Superstar Salman Khan danced to the tunes of the quirky and super popular song ‘Tu Mera Bhai Nahi Hai’ along with the cast, Varun Sharma, Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal, Vishakha Singh and Manjot Singh in pivotal roles. ‘Choocha’, character name of Varun Sharma continued his ‘Jugaad’ as he predicted that ‘Bigg Boss’ will be successful as long as Salman Khan hosts the show. Also, his prediction says that he will continue to host all the forthcoming seasons of ‘Bigg Boss’.

Varun Sharma, Pulkit Samrat, Richa Chadha and Manjot Singh had a blast with Salman Khan on the sets of ‘Bigg Boss 11’, which is clearly visible through the pictures. The sequel to 2013’s ‘Fukrey’, ‘Fukrey Returns’ has garnered a thunderous opening at the box office raking in a whopping 8.10 crores on day 1. The film is expected to continue its dream run owing to the outstanding word of mouth.

‘Fukrey Returns’ is co-produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under the banner of Excel Entertainment and directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the film has released worldwide and has been taking the audience on a fun ride.

While the actress tries her best to push him away, he still continues with his imprudent act. Shilpa gets really furious and gives him a piece of her mind. Despite which, he goes to the extent of saying that what will she do now?

In the 13-second video, Shilpa, Puneesh, and Akash are seen in the garden area and next what can be seen is that out of nowhere Akash, who is known for passing crass comments, especially towards women in the house, forcibly kisses Shilpa. She rebuffs at him saying, “You will get a slap from me, I don’t want to talk to you.” But Dadlani continues with his vague behaviour, harasses her and questions her, “What will you do now?”

They have started hashtag #EvictAkashDadlani and have further questioned about women’s safety inside the house. The fans are even saying that he addresses Shilpa as ‘maa’ in the house, does he behaves in the same manner with his own mother?

Bollywood’s first awards galas for 2017 was held at the MMRDA grounds, Bandra-Kurla Complex, last night. The Star Screen Awards may not have seen many A-listers walk the red carpet, but, their absence was compensated by Salman Khan’s presence

Irrfan Khan, who won the Best Actor title for Hindi Medium, celebrated the recognition of talent. With two honours to his credit — Best Actor (Newton) and Best Supporting Actor (Shubh Mangal Savdhan) — Rajkummar Rao was certain to revisit history and dedicate his wins to those from smaller towns. With the gongs evading her for a while, Vidya Balan was evidently ecstatic to win Best Female Actor for Tumhari Sulu. While accepting her award from Rekha, Balan thanked hubby Siddharth Roy Kapur for “putting up” with her sensual acts, as she became Silk Smitha and Sulu for the big screen. Dangal, with the coveted Best Film nod, Tumhari Sulu and Newton, took home the top honours.

The hot, humid night made the guests break into a sweat. As the cake-paint on the female brigade appeared to crack, we spotted Balan dab her face throughout the evening. Although most of the stars battled the heat subtly, trust Salman Khan to point it out on stage. During the tomfoolery with Varun Dhawan that ensued after his performance, Khan responded to the latter’s “I’m your biggest fan” with a: “The only fan I want is a table fan on stage, and a ceiling fan above.”

There were performances by Ileana D’Cruz, Tiger Shroff and Madhuri Dixit Nene. The latter recreated Choli Me Peeche Kya Hai and Tamma Tamma as part of a tribute performance for Subhash Ghai. Ghai was conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award. With the show set for a telecast on December 31, Dhawan and Khan wrapped it up with a countdown to 2018.

AlthoughTiger Zinda Hai is essentially a spy thriller that focuses on undercover agents, director Ali Abbas Zafar was certain of incorporating a romantic track in the film – one that would do justice to Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif‘s effortless on-screen chemistry. Conceived as a love ballad, the track ‘Dil Diyan Gallan‘ released on Saturday, December 2, 2017. The song makes you believe in love all over again and it beautifully showcases the love story of super-spies Tiger and Zoya. While Katrina sizzles fluently as they try their hands at the dance form-waltz, Salman too matched up the steps smoothly with the dancing queen, Katrina. The song makes you believe in love all over again and it beautifully showcases the love.

This classic love ballad celebrates the purity of romance. The two, who have come together on big screens after 5 years, have shot this romantic song in Austria. Salman also showcased his artistic skills in the frozen lake of Austria. The actor drew a beautiful and mesmerising portrait of Katrina in that frozen lake. Composed by Vishal and Shekhar and sung by Atif Aslam, the song’s lyrics have been penned by Irshad Kamil. The beautiful song has been choreographed by Vaibhavi Merchant.

Sources from the production house reveal that the lead stars had to undergo a 15-day prep before they shot for the number. “It took some time and practice for both Salman and Katrina to learn the waltz. They practised for a fortnight and in the last four days, they had to rehearse extensively with Vaibhavi. Kat was a natural and picked up the steps quickly. She even helped Salman with the steps,” says a source. The insider further reveals that shooting in the snow-capped mountains of Austria was an arduous task for the unit.

Zafar says he deliberately chose waltz as it lends the grace and restraint that his characters needed to convey. “We have filmed Dil Diyan Gallan in an old-school manner to capture the beauty of a mature love story. The song comes at a crucial juncture in the film.”

The high-octane spy thriller is all slated to hit the screens this Christmas on December 22, 2017.

The wait is over! Salman Khan is all set to welcome his leading lady from ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, Katrina Kaif to the stage of Bigg Boss 11. Together, the two will sizzle the stage while dancing to the tunes of the track ‘Swag Se Swagat’. As part of a special treat for this Weekend Ka Vaar episode, Katrina reveals that the worldwide release of the next track of the movie will happen in tonight’s episode.

Salman then escorts Katrina to a lie detector seat that is put up on stage. He then goes on to ask her fun questions like who is your favourite co-star, are you a hardworking actor and about her dance moves. In return, Katrina then requests Salman to take over the seat and cross-questions him. She asks him about his favourite costar, what his workout routine is like, and why he takes off his shirt at the climax of each movie!

After the fun segment, megastar Salman Khan takes on his role and starts his Vaar on gharwale. Now that Hiten has recently lost the hair on his legs, courtesy Akash, Salman jokes and asks Hiten to show off his legs by wearing a pair of shorts and then asks him to shake a leg on a Katrina number ‘Chikni Chameli.’

Enquiring about the villain of the house this week, most gharwale nominate Puneesh for his aggressive and abusive behavior this week. Salman agrees and calls Puneesh to the dreaded Katghara for questioning. Upset that Puneesh wasted food in a fit of anger, Salman gives him a life lesson he will never forget! Bandagi jumps to his rescue by suggesting that everyone in the house takes advantage of his short temper and corners him; to which Hina says that Bandagi supports this aggressive behaviour.

In true Weekend Ka Vaar style, Salman expresses his disappointment with the contestant’s creativity and originality while performing the luxury budget task. He questions Hina for using Chili Powder in the task, and then goes on to ask Priyank if this move was justified. Vikas steps in and accuses Priyank for not supporting him as ‘sanchalak’ in the task. He then lashes out at Hina for stooping down to an inhuman level where she refuses to give water to a person who is suffering in pain.

In final moments, Salman Khan reveals that Katrina will be entering the house the following day.

Salman Khan draws a beautiful portrait of his former girlfriend and his ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ actress, Katrina Kaif, on a frozen lake in Austria. It is for one of their love songs from the film

‘Tiger Zinda Hai‘, the action mega entertainer from Yash Raj Films, has wowed everyone first with its record-smashing trailer and then its blockbuster swagger of a party anthem. Now, the audiences are set to be treated with a Salman Khan–Katrina Kaiflove song! Titled ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’, the song features the two superstars in their most romantic song to date. The highlight of the song is Salman painting a portrait of Katrina on ice! Talk about freezing a moment in time!

‘Dil Diyan Gallan‘, a beautiful song that sums up the love story of super spies Tiger and Zoya have been shot across extreme climes of Austria. While the mountains were difficult to film in because of bone-chilling, subzero temperatures, the song has turned out to be a visual treat set in the gorgeous Alps. Director Ali Abbas Zafar sums it up as “It is a romantic track that captures the beauty of a mature love story. We have filmed ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’ in an old school, vintage way to bring alive the romance that two mature people share. It is like a classic Yash Chopra song.”

Just like filming for action sequences on this remote Austrian mountainside had its challenges, shooting this ballad didn’t come easy either. Ali adds, “Salman and Katrina shot this song on some very difficult terrain in the Alps. The biggest highlight of this song is the unique Katrina portrait that he has drawn on a frozen lake. We had to shoot on this lake and Salman converted it to a canvas. We had to source natural colors, as ice doesn’t catch all kinds of paints, which didn’t come easy. But once we got hold of this, he created a huge 20 feet by 20 feet portrait that features Katrina’s face. It’s a sight for sore eyes, this painting, and it makes Dil Diyan Gallan a truly unique romantic song visually.”

Salman and Katrina’s scorching chemistry has become the talk of the town. Their onscreen romance makes Tiger Zinda Hai even more anticipated. The high octane action thriller is set to release on December 22, 2017.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan turns speaker for the film industry at HT Leadership Summit 2017, happening at Delhi. The actor has shared some interesting anecdotes from his life and many other things

Salman Khan, 51, the superstar of Bollywood is undoubtedly still reigning the film territory. Contributing majorly to the world Hindi film industry, almost for the past 30 years, he is a name synonym to Bollywood. With his share of ups and downs in the industry, the actor has garnered love from across the terrains. The road outside Salman’s house in Bandra is always choc-o-blocked with tonnes of fans gathered, just to catch a glimpse of ‘Bhai’ waving out at the balcony. Calculating his contribution and stardom, HT Leadership Summit 2017 has invited Salman Khan to have an interaction on topical issues related to showbiz. For instance, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’ entangled in a political row and many other things. The actor is stationed at Delhi for the Summit.

The actor has given various anecdotes about how the industry functions, his life and so on. At the Summit, when the superstar was asked if ‘casting couch’ existed in Bollywood, he said, “I have never come across or heard of such an incident. But if I ever hear of it, I will take that person to the cleaners.” He further adds, “The condition that you need to sleep with me to get this job done, is the most disgusting thing possible.”

Recently, there were accusations made by the Hollywood film fraternity against renowned producer Harvey Weinstein’s for asking sexual favours in return for providing work.

Coming back to Salman Khan, he shared a lot of his opinions on the film industry. He proudly said that the industry doesn’t follow any particular religion. “There is no religion in our industry. My dad is a Muslim, my mother is a Hindu and I call myself ‘insaan’ (human).”

When someone addresses us with ‘Ram Ram’ or ‘Jai Shree Ram’, we don’t object to it or refuse to acknowledge the gesture. I don’t think any of us have that problem here. We all have Hindu and Muslim relatives,” concluded the ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ actor.

And it is this deep friendship that reflects seamlessly on the big screen. In an interview for the December edition of Vogue India, Khan opens up on his favourite co-star and how he didn’t think he was movie star material.

Prod him on his first meeting with the then-18-year-old Kaif and he recalls, “It was at a small get-together. She had come home for a party and I thought she was one of the sweetest girls ever. She knew my sister and all my friends, but she didn’t know me.” A friendly chat at the party led to the blossoming of a new romance. Khan and Kaif were reportedly in a relationship for four years before they parted ways in 2009. However, the two continue to be the closest of friends, even sharing screen space in Tiger Zinda Hai.

The coming year will mark 30 years in the industry for Khan. Considering he is the firstborn of celebrated screenwriter Salim Khan, one might assume that Khan always knew he wanted to be a movie star. However, he admits that it wasn’t so. “I was like, how can I be an actor? When I walk into a place, nobody notices me. I remember Sanjay Dutt and Jackie Shroff; when they walked in, you’d know someone had come. So I decided that until that happens to me, I’ll never make it,” says Khan.

The superstar adds that he decided early on in his career that he won’t play grey characters, as he is aware that his fans look up to him as a role model. “When someone is going through a rough patch, they turn to a film hero to see how he handles it.”
