Opportunity knocks, but once! Evicted in week 1 on disciplinary grounds, Priyank Sharma got the golden chance to enter the Bigg Boss 11 house as a Wild Card contestant. After weeks of being safe from persistent nomination, this week Priyank found himself in the bottom 2 against Luv Tyagi. As the votes came pouring in, Salman Khan revealed that Priyank’s time in the ‘Bigg Boss 11’ house is, indeed, up!

Priyank started his ‘Bigg Boss’ journey as part of the celebrity clan, but found himself evicted in Week 1 itself. Upon re-entry in the house, Priyank caused a massive stir by speaking about the various on-goings of the outside world. After multiple warnings from Salman Khan himself, Priyank decided to focus on his own game and formed an alliance with Hina Khan and Luv Tyagi. Staying true to his friendship with now-evicted contestant Hiten Tejwani, Priyank sacrificed his hair and went bald in order to save Hiten from eviction nomination. As a sanchalak, Priyank played a fair game and ensured that all gharwale follow the rules laid down by Bigg Boss. He also showed off his dance skills as he choreographed a number on Akash’s rap song – Yeh Hai Bigg Boss! Given the rollercoaster ride of emotions within the house, the friendship between Vikas and Priyank saw many ups and downs, until the two, finally buried the hatchet and renewed their friendship.

On his second eviction, Priyank said, “My experience in Bigg Boss was simply amazing. This is a life lesson that one cannot find anywhere else. I learnt a lot, made a few mistakes and did a few good things – so it has been a rollercoaster ride. I’ve become a better version of myself after this show.”

Priyank Sharma hails from New Delhi and has previously been part of numerous reality TV shows. He hopes to continue in the field of entertainment and wants to try out acting in fiction shows and focus on dancing as well.

'Bigg Boss 11': Benafsha Soonawalla punished for pulling Akash Dadlani's hair

The ground of Bigg Boss 11 has turned into a major fighting ground for the contestants. A few days ago, Benafsha Soonawalla got into an ugly spat with Akash Dadlani. Akash known for passing crass comments, especially towards women in the house, passed some vague comment on Benafsha. There’s a never-ending quarrel between the two inmates taking place in the house. However, this time, Benafsha had lost her calm and indulged into a major spat with Akash, where she pulled his hair, for which, she got punished by Bigg Boss. Punishment is that she is directly nominated for eviction in this weekend and the coming weekend.

Giving further details about it, a source told mid-day, “The fight turned ugly when Benafsha pulled his hair in the heat of the argument. Unaware of what is there in store for her, she was shocked to be punished by Bigg Boss for manhandling Akash. The punishment turned out being her nomination for back-to-back two weeks, this week and the following one. Even if she gets saved from eviction this week, there’s still no respite for her until the coming week.”

“Bigg Boss warns Benafsha that no matter what happens, in any circumstances, the contestants aren’t allowed to raise hands on anyone,” added the source.

This is not the first time that Benafsha raised her voice against Akash’s tactless behaviour. Earlier, too, she had warned him saying, ‘enough is enough’. At that point, Priyank Sharma and Hina Khan took a stand for Benafsha and warned Akash to stop misbehaving with girls in the Bigg Boss house. Akash being Akash had given them a deaf ear and continued his shenanigans.

Apparently, there’s love brewing between Benafsha and Priyank. Let’s wait to watch if they profess their feelings for each other in the Bigg Boss house.

The news of Bigg Boss 11’s evicted contestant Priyank Sharma making a wild card entry swept the nation by storm. And, adding to another reason for jumping with joy was viral Internet sensation Dhinchak Pooja’s entry in the already chaotic house, who shocked the country with her pop song ‘Selfie maine le li aaj’.

Now, that Dhinchak Pooja has embarked on her Bigg Boss house journey, Priyank Sharma’s nowhere to be seen. His fans have been going berserk on Twitter questioning his absence from the Bigg Boss 11 house. Well, it’s not clear why did the makers air the promo starring Priyank, wherein Salman Khan is introducing him to everyone and later not have Priyank in the following episodes?

However, mid-day has exclusively learnt from a source that reality- show heartthrob Priyank Sharma is not entering the Bigg Boss house anytime soon, not at least today and tomorrow for sure. He will reappear on the house but his fans will have to wait and the wait we assume will be worthy. Talking about bouncing back on the reality show, Priyank had told mid-day, “Of course! I feel that my journey has been short, sweet and simple.”

“If you go with a strategy inside your mind, then you cannot survive. Your strategies will fall flat, it’s just not possible. Just go with the flow. Earlier, I didn’t know what kind of people are they, and I still don’t know because in five-six days you don’t get to know the people. You get to know the basic nature of the person. So, strategies don’t work, trust me,” added Priyank about entering the house with a strategy.
