The ‘Dangal’ actor had earlier gone through incredible transformation to play wrestler Mahaveer Singh’s role and we bet there is no one in B-town who could have played that character as exceptionally as he did. One look at his transformation in ‘Dangal’ is enough to give you an idea of what this man’s determination looks like. And once again, he is leaving no stone unturned in his latest role.

Aamir finally has given us a glimpse of his new avatar, and it has already got us excited for his film. He underwent permanent ear and a nose piercing, as that’s what his role demands. His latest role is very different than what he has played in previous films.

For his new film, Aamir Khan has gone in for a “completely different look” thanks to a nose piercing and two piercings on his right ear. It is no secret the kind of efforts he takes to get into the skin of any character. And now, it seems Aamir Khan has undergone some “painful” procedures for his new film, Thugs of Hindostan too. “His character demands it and it’s just a glimpse of what he has done physically,” says an insider. It’s been a month since Aamir went for piercings but it’s “still painful” and the actor has been experiencing “a few painful and sleepless nights”. “It’s well-known how painful nose piercing can be. Not many opt for it to avoid the intense pain. Also, he has gone for two upper ear piercings, which also cause a lot of pain as they have been done on the cartilage bone. On the sets, he screams in pain even when someone touches it by mistake. Thugs of Hindostan is the first film where Aamir will be sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan. Big B recently shared the picture of him and Aamir together, making fans all excited for the film. He captioned the picture, “THUGS OF HINDOSTAN in a short respite from the gruelling shoot in Malta.”

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, the film also stars Katrina Kaif and Fatina Sana Sheikh. Talking about the work schedule the director told PTI,”The set of the film is in a high security water zone, with restricted access. Both these ships have been built in the early eighteenth century style, when vessels would carry cannons and other weapons.” 

Looking at this magnificent cast and the way Aamir is prepping up for the role, we are pretty sure this will be the film to watch out for.
