We’re just gonna go ahead and say it: Hugh Jackman is a man of many talents and we are downright obsessed with everything he does because it is perfection. And once again, the man has surprised us.
Well known for playing ‘The Wolverine’, acting might be Jackman’s strongest suit but it doesn’t mean that is all he excels at.
Recently he proved to WWE star John Cena that he definitely can do ‘reverse trash talking’ at the ‘Late Late Show with James Corden’ and in the past has also shown to the world that he can sing, dance, fight, play multiple sports. And now adding to that already glorious list, is cricket commentary.
Hugh, who is an ardent cricket fan, surprised everyone with an impromptu commentary stint during the ongoing Ashes Test between Australia and England. And of course, he nailed it.

After making some rather accurate observations, he suddenly broke into a song but unfortunately was shushed by the fellow commentator.
Have a look:
For his first time, you have to agree that he did very well. Minus, the singing part maybe?
Although this was his first commentary, his love for cricket has been known since years. In an interview with Brett Lee, Michael Slater and Shane Warne, he declared his love for cricket and told everyone that he got to see the centenary Boxing Day Test live at MCG when he was a kid.
His knowledge about the sport has left us impressed in the past too.
Now, since he has already made it to our favorite commentators list, we can only hope to see him doing this more. But till that happens, you’ll have to make do with seeing him on the big screen as Jackman’s latest movie ‘The Greatest Showman’ hits the theatres in India on 29th December.
