Do you ever wonder if there will be another ‘Die Hard’ again? Well, Mr. Willis just confirmed there just maybe another part releasing soon and we can’t contain our excitement! Yipee Ki Yay! Bruce Willis, the 62- year-old superstar has just revealed that there’s a script for the sixth ‘Die Hard’ film.

The leading man revealed this awesome piece of news on ‘The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon’, where he appeared with a broken arm, which was cradled in a sling.

Here’s what he said:

While talking about his last action movie ‘Death Wish’ , Willis also paid homage to one of his greatest role ever, while talking about 30 years of ‘Die-Hard’!

When Fallon asked him if the ‘rumour’ of another ‘Die Hard’ was true, Bruce Willis confirmed “I’m about to wing out to California to start to see what the script looks like. So I think [it will happen]. Yeah.”

Which truly means there is a script under consideration and it will definitely feature Bruce in a leading role once again. The big question though is-will it be a Christmas release?

‘Die Hard’ has also been added to the National Film Registry by Congress, which Bruce believes is a great honour.

Here’s hoping the best action movie franchise doesn’t fade away from our screen, because honestly, we’re really never ‘too old for this shit!’

If there’s anyone who can jump off the world’s tallest building to save his family, that too with a prosthetic leg, it’s gotta be Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

The Rock is no stranger to action movies and his upcoming film ‘Skyscraper’ is an addition to the already long list.

The first few moments of the trailer will leave you stunned as you see ‘someone’ jumping off a tall-ass building. Okay, it’s Dwayne. (Who else?)

We then see Dwayne’s character- Will with a prosthetic leg. Former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will lost his limb while on a mission and now assesses security for skyscrapers.

The trailer sure starts on a bittersweet moment as we see Will sharing some moments with his kids and wife. But you know it’s not going to last long.

On an assignment in China, Will finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly on fire. And of course, he’s being framed for it. With multiple things on his mind, Will now has to find out who in reality is responsible for this mishap and clear his own name.

And oh, he also has to rescue his family who are in the building, while it is ON FIRE.  To be honest, we didn’t expect any less of a disaster. There is so much going on!

From the trailer, the movie sure looks like an action-packed thriller. In the end, we (again) see Dwayne jumping off a crane towards the shattered window of the literally ‘lit’ skyscraper like it’s no biggie.

But fans couldn’t help but notice the similarities it has with ‘Die Hard’. As soon as the first teaser of the movie dropped during the Super Bowl, the internet began comparing the two.

1. Looks Like It.

So they’re remaking #DieHard with The Rock and calling it #Skyscraper ? 🙊

2. “Not Die Hard’

Love the trailer for the Rock’s new movie Not Die Hard.

3. Kaafi Original.

Somewhere in Hollywood: “I have this completely original idea for a movie for The Rock: a dad has to save his wife from terrorists on the top floor of an unfinished skyscraper.”

— Jim Geraghty (@jimgeraghty) February 5, 2018

4. Hmmm…

**WRITERS ROOM**

“Are we worried this is going to be panned as a Die Hard ripoff?”

“Give The Rock a prosthetic foot.”

“Are we worried we’re going to make TOO much money?”

— Zach Harper (@talkhoops) February 5, 2018

5. Count Us In.

If The Rock wants to keep making the same movie over and over again I’m here for that. #SuperBowl

And now, we won’t take more of your time. Here, watch the trailer and decide for yourself:

‘Die-Hard’ or not, we are still interested in watching The Rock save his family and be the hero.

Skyscraper is scheduled to release in July 2018 and also stars Neve Campbell, Chin Han and Noah Taylor.

Yippee ki-yay, it’ll be good to see you again, John McClane.

It’s difficult to kill this iconic character, no one dies harder. So obviously, Bruce Willis is returning as everyone’s favourite badass New York City cop in an upcoming Die Hard instalment, but the next flick will be unlike anything we’ve seen before.

Even though the plot has been kept under wraps,  it is being described as a prequel/sequel of sorts that will involve John McClane in both present day and 1970’s New York. So, now with Bruce Willis on board, casting will now begin for the actor who will portray McClane when he was a NYC beat cop, according to Deadline.

Talking about his return, the 62-year old star said, “I’m really pleased to continue to be asked back to do other versions and other incarnations of Die Hard. The first one really is… that’s all there is. Everything else is just trying to be as good as that film.”

Director Len Wiseman is quite set on finding the right person to portray young McClane. He said, “The right casting for this role is crucial. Those bare feet have some very big shoes to fill.”

Since the next movie is both a sequel to 2013’s ‘A Good Day to Die-Hard’ and a prequel to 1988’s ‘Die Hard’, it seems likely that McClane’s back-story will be told through flashbacks.

Even though the rumours of the upcoming movie surfaced back in 2015, this is the first confirmation of Willis being on board. There’s not much information about it as of now, not even the release date, but this is enough for now, and as for the diehard ‘Die Hard’ fans, they can just binge watch all the previous movies while waiting for the next one.
