After wrapping a hectic schedule Kriti Sanon spends time with her family. The sensational actress who was in Dubai to walk for the star designer Manish Malhotra joined her parents, Rahul and Geeta Sanon for a small vacation in Dubai.

The star took an off from her work to be with her parents and the family has been enjoying their time together. Kriti has posted some really amazing pictures with her Mom-Dad on social media showing how happy they are to be with their daughter. They visited the Burj Khalifa, where the mom-daughter duo pouted along with her dad for a selfie from the top. Sanon captioned the picture as ‘Haha.. pout queens with the always smiling king of our house! #BurjKhalifa #Dubai #familytime Miss you Nupsuu!!’ We could also see major missing happening as her darling sister was not a part of this vacation.

Kriti who seems to have a great time with her parents in the desert enjoying the sunset scene. She looked very cute posing while sitting on a camel. The beauty has also been posting many Instagram stories of the trip to make our day.

Kriti is enjoying the success of her latest release Bareilly Ki Barfi which was a sleeper hit. The film has received a lot of love across the quarters. Sanon received a handwritten note along with flowers as a token of appreciation from Bollywood’s Big B for her amazing performance in the film.

Looks like after ‘Rangoon’, Vishal Bhardwaj is all set to bring something new to the silver screen. Before we tell you about the project, let us tell you this time Vishal is all set to bring an unusual Jodi on-screen.

The leading man of Vishal’s upcoming film will be Nawazuddin Siddiqui and he will be seen romancing ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ actress Kriti Sanon.

The film will be made under his banner. However, Vishal will be giving a newcomer the opportunity to direct this film, as reported by SpotboyE.

Nawaz is indeed a great actor and with every film, he moves us. From being an antagonist, supporting actor to wearing a protagonist’s hat, he has proved that he can get into the shoes of any character. His presence is so strong that he can sideline any A-lister sharing screen space with him.

On the other hand, Kriti has just a few films but has made her place in B-town. Her latest film ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ was loved by the viewers.

And now that she is all set to play Nawaz’s leading lady, we are quite excited about the project.

Rajkummar Rao to star with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan for Rakeysh Mehra’s Fanney Khan

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s new film Fanney Khan has had its fair share of headlines already – the movie has been trending on and off for reports suggesting probable actors to have been cast opposite the 43-year-old actress. Actor R Madhavan was the most prominent name which repeatedly featured in reports about Fanney Khan’s casting. Speculation followed that Madhavan was not really Aishwarya’s preferred co-star for the movie – it was Rajkummar Rao. Now, the producer of Fanney Khan – Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra – tweeted to welcome Rajkummar on board for the movie. “Welcome aboard Raj, tighten your seat belt for the roller coaster,” is what Mr Mehra tweeted on Wednesday.

In a recent interview with Mumbai Mirror, the Trapped actor has also revealed he’s been roped in for the much talked-about role in Fanney Khan. Rajkummar Rao is currently busy shooting for Hansal Mehta’s series Bose in Poland.

In his interview, Rajkummar said that he was being considered for the role for a while and received a confirmation from producer Prernaa Arora of KriArj Entertainment on Tuesday night, stated the Mumbai Mirror report. “We’re friends and have been discussing films for a while,” said the actor. Rajkummar Rao features in the recently released Bareilly Ki Barfi, co-starring Kriti Sanon and Ayushmann Khurrana.

Earlier this month, much was being speculated about Aishwarya not being too pleased with the makers for having reportedly chosen Madhavan over Rajkummar. But Mr Mehra dismissed such speculation telling news agency IANS, “It is quite unfortunate that such false and baseless stories are created to grab attention. There is zero truth to that, we are all a team and Fanney Khan is a dear project to the whole team.”

Arjun N Kapoor, the co-producer of the film also added: “There are some stories doing the rounds about disagreement in casting for the film. We want to put the record straight and deny any such so called competition or discord amongst the makers.” Fanney Khan is being considered to be a remake of the Dutch film Everybody’s Famous and will mark Atul Manjrekar’s debut as a director.

In the Mumbai Mirror interview, Rajkummar was asked about his co-star, the former beauty queen, when he said: “She’s the most beautiful woman in the world,” reported Mumbai Mirror. The actor also added the “detailed and different” story-line of Fanney Khan will keep him busy with script reading sessions once he’s back in Mumbai. “It’s a great story, there’s a lot of love, and the content is not just entertaining but is detailed and different. There will be lots of workshops and readings once I am back,” he informed. Will we hear him croon on screen? “I can’t reveal much about the character,” Rajkummar said.

Fanney Khan also stars Anil Kapoor as the father of a 16-year-old ambitious daughter and body-shaming is one of the issues that the movie tackles. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was last seen in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil while Bareilly Ki Barfi remains Rajkummar’s last film.

Bareilly-Ki-Barfi A young woman from a small town in Uttar Pradesh who smokes the occasional cigarette, drinks alcohol straight from the bottle and binges on Hollywood films on the sly sets the parameters for being progressive in the romantic comedy Bareilly Ki Barfi.

It’s certainly myopic to think that smoking or drinking alcohol equals progressive, but there’s a lot to enjoy in director Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s movie, if you can discard this reductive analogy.

It’s a romantic quadrangle that’s fuelled by a superlative performance by Rajkummar Rao as the classic underdog gone rogue.

Actor Ayushmann Khurrana and Kriti Sanon are his perfect foil, but they don’t hold a candle next to Rao’s impeccable comic timing and his hilarious two-sided personality switch.
We have Bittu (Sanon) from a typical middle-class household who’s frustrated by the patriarchy and sexism around her.

Her conservative mother (played superbly by Seema Bhargava) is India’s answer to Mrs Bennett, the literary figure from Pride and Prejudice, who wants to marry her daughter off to a decent gentleman.

The rotund matriarch is irked when her spirited daughter spurns off her suitors, one of whom wanted to know whether she was a virgin or not.
She feels misunderstood by society at large, but feels a kinship with novelist Pritam Vidrohi after stumbling upon his book. It was a failed literary debut, but it transforms Bittu’s life.

The comedy of errors and garbled identities is unleashed when she sets out to meet Vidrohi in person.

Khurrana plays the wily Chirag Dubey, the seemingly affable guy who promises to help Bitti meet her dream author.

'Bareilly Ki Barfi' Isn't Just A Film But Also A Popular Dessert At This Place Now

Since the trailer of film ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ was out, people have been already looking forward to watching this film. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that it definitely looks like the entertainer of the year.

Ayushmann Khurrana, Rajkummar Rao, and Kriti Sanon together in this film make it a fun watch. We just got a glimpse of the movie through the trailer and we are already impressed. Rajkummar and Ayushmann’s rivalry is so spot-on that you might miss Kriti and not even realise it.

However, Kriti looks fabulous and this is the first time we will see her in this avatar. Especially, in the song ‘Sweety Tera Drama’ which we are already listening on loop. The movie is inspired from a book The Ingredients of Love by Nicolas Barreau.

The cast and the crew are being appreciated a lot for the trailer and as we look forward to the film, the cast decided to do something sweet for their fans. Just as the name suggests, the cast of the film gave a surprise visit to Tamasha, Mumbai and treated all their fans with Bareilly Ki Barfi. Check out the video yourself:

So now you can not just watch Bareilly Ki Barfi, but even taste the goodness of it!

The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on 18th August 2017.

Kriti Sanon who is collaborating with Ashwini Iyer Tiwari for the very first time shared a sweet sneak peek from behind the sets of Bareilly Ki Barfi.

Kriti shared an image where she is sitting on Ashwiny’s lap while the cameras were not rolling. The image further exhibits the bond the actor director duo shares.

The image is the testimony of the comfort level Kriti and Aswhiny shared and the comforted creative bonding.

The actress posted a picture on social media captioning, “My favourite seat in between shots! Full pampering and “laad” for Bitti by her adorable director !! These little moments make the film making journey special!! Love you @ashwinyiyertiwari #bareillykibarfi”.

With a picture, Kriti hinted at the love and pampering Aswhiny bestowed upon the young actress.

The film is directed by Ashwiny Iyer and Nitesh Tiwari who are teaming up for the for the second time after Nil Battey Sannata.
