Salman Khan is known for going out of his way to give a golden chance to those who are talented enough to become the next Bollywood star. Athiya Shetty, Daisy Shah, Zarine Khan… the list is pretty long. And let’s face it, who wouldn’t like a superstar like him to be their guiding figure in the otherwise inaccessible Bollywood industry?

Salman Khan took to his Twitter account to make a rather special announcement. He said that his production house, SKF, is looking for a fresh female face for their upcoming venture.

His tweet managed to make his female fans go into frenzy. But the good news doesn’t end here.

For his male fans too, ample of opportunities will be coming soon in the near future, thanks to his app -BeingInTouch.

Last year, on the occasion of his 51st birthday, Salman released a treat for his fans- his own app ‘BeingInTouch’ which has a number of categories, like ‘Being in Touch’, ‘Khandaan’, ‘Being Human Jobs’, ‘Fan Wall’, ‘About’- basically all the information about the star in one place.

The latest addition to his app is the ‘Audition’ section where his fans can see what all roles are available for his upcoming ventures and can apply for the same. The actor made an announcement about this “gift” to his fans in a video that he uploaded on Twitter, with the caption:

The best part however is that it isn’t restricted to citizens of India. It gives a fair chance to everybody from across the world as anybody can upload their audition video on the application, if they meet the requirements of the role.

As per a screenshot uploaded by one of his fans on Twitter, SKF is on a hunt for a budding female actress, between the ages of 20 to 25 with fluency in Hindi and English.

Arjun Kapoor, who is very active on social media, always treats his fans with throwback photos of him with his family and cousins, including actress Sonam Kapoor.

And, all the pictures gives an idea that how close these two are.

Today, the ‘Mubarakan’ star shared an endearing throwback photo f the duo on Instagram.

In the picture, all the cousins are posing for the camera. Sonam is all smiles while Arjun looks on innocently.

The photo also includes Rhea Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, Harshvardhan Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor.

On the work front, Sonam will be seen next in ‘Veere Di Wedding’. Helmed by Shashanka Ghosh, the chick flick also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania.

On the other hand, Arjun was last seen in ‘Mubarakan’ alongside Anil Kapoor, Ileana D’Cruz and Athiya Shetty. The movie performed well at the box office.

The makers released the latest dance number from the film and as one can expect from Anees Bazmee’s film, this song just like his previous film will get you in a dancing mood. The beats of the song are peppy, giving you major desi feels that you just can’t help but groove to this number.

The song features Arjun Kapoor displaying his utter Punjabiness on screen. Sung by Vishal Dadlani, Apeksha Dandekar and Navraj Hans, the song is quirky. Amaal Malik’s music and Kumaar’s lyrics add the perfect Punjabi swag to the song. We wouldn’t be surprised if this becomes the wedding song of the year.

Watching the song on-screen is fun too, Arjun Kapoor can be seen in both his avatar Karan and Charan and it’s difficult to pick whom we like more. And don’t miss to watch Illeana in the song as well. The film also stars Anil Kapoor and Athiya Shetty and is set to release on28th July.

Actor-producer Anil Kapoor felt that Arjun Kapoor should do their forthcoming film ‘Mubarakan’ as he believes that the young actor,
also his nephew, has the capability to pull off such difficult roles. Arjun will be seen in a double role in ‘Mubarakan’, which also stars Anil.

“When I first heard the script, I strongly felt that Arjun Kapoor should do this film. I felt he is the right actor for this script. I picked up the phone and asked him to hear the subject once and take a decision himself. He has the capability to pull off such difficult roles and I’m happy that after listening to the script he decided to do this film,” Anil Kapoor said in a statement.

‘Mubarakan’ also starring Ileana D’cruz and Athiya Shetty is produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions and Ashwin Varde and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios and is slated to have its worldwide release on July 28.

The ‘Mubarakan’ trailer dropped today and the only thing we miss in the movie is probably having a real life Diljit ! Arjun Kapoor and Anil Kapoor play the roles of quintessential Punjabis in London. Arjun is seen in a double role as Charan and Karan.

Anil is the super cool bachelor uncle who is the masala to bland dish. We still cannot believe that this man has touched 60! Because he sure as hell shows no signs of slowing down.

The female leads have Athiya Shetty who is mostly expressionless and Ileana D’ Cruz, who is cruising to some rehashed music.

The trailer looks fun and seems like this is will be a good summer family entertainer.
