Aditi Rao Hydarifeatures in barely four scenes in Padmaavat. For a long time, the actor had been talking about bagging a role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s film. She plays Allaudin Khilji’s (Ranveer Singh) wife Mehrunissa. The filmmaker had taken her on board on the recommendation of Jaya Bachchan who reportedly feels Aditi’s eyes are “deep, sad and expressive.” Sadly, she did not have much to do with Khilji roaring, much to the audience’s delight.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmavati’s first song ‘Ghoomar’ will be out tomorrow. The film starring Deepika Padukone as the legendary, Rajput queen ‘Padmavati’ is the most awaited film of this year. Knowing how Sanjay Leela Bhansali pays attention to even minute details, ‘Ghoomar’ can be expected to showcase the grandeur and exquisite culture of the ‘Rajputs’. For those who don’t know, ‘Ghoomar’ is the traditional folk dance and a part of the heritage of Rajasthan. Just like ‘Bajirao Mastani’ showed Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone in a ‘laavni’ face-off ‘Pinga’, ‘Padmavati’ will have ‘Ghoomar’ as their traditional dance sequence.

The first look of Deepika Padukone as ‘Queen Padmavati’ won a lot of hearts and people couldn’t stop showering their praises on her. Bhansali ensured that he paid attention to every detail before decking up Dippy. Her jewellery, makeup and clothes personified ‘Padmavati’. Deepika looked ethereal in ethnic wear. The film stars Shahid Kapoor Maharawal Ratan Singh and Ranveer Singh as Allaudin Khilji. It is Deepika Padukone who delivers a goosebump-raising dialogue, one of the most powerful words spoken in the film.

The actress is seen holding a graceful stance with the voiceover of the dialogues mouthed by Deepika sign off the visually alluring Padmavati trailer. The words, ‘Rajputi kangan main utni hi taqat hai, jitni Rajputi talvar main’, are the crux of the film that is backed by the heritage culture of Chittor – Mewar. The dialogue is spoken by Deepika Padukone exhibiting a powerful yet graceful stance. With the exemplary delivery of the hard-hitting dialogue, Deepika Padukone ends the ‘Padmavati’ trailer on a high note, building incredible anticipation for the film’s release. The official handle of the film tweeted out the announcement of the song launch which is scheduled for tomorrow.

In an interview previously, Deepika spoke about her role saying it did take a toll on her and exhausted her.

She said: “Working in Padmavati was an exhausting experience. It takes quite a lot to work on a character for nine months constantly round the clock. Certain characters just don’t leave your system.” Deepika Padukone took to her Twitter to express her gratitude for the tremendous love and support she got for the ‘Padmavati’ trailer. The actress who rightly portrays the most beautiful woman in the world took the opportunity to express her joy and heartfelt gratitude she felt towards everyone for the love and appreciation she was showered with in her tweets.

The actress expressed her gratitude saying, “And as this day comes to an end, I cannot even begin to express the gratitude and joy I feel today!”. She further added, “I sometimes wonder,’ what have I done to deserve so much love and appreciation’ and while I seek, all I can say is a big big Thank You! (sic)”

Ranveer Singh is undoubtedly B-town’s favourite. The man goes beyond his way to entertain his fans and that is something we all love about him. From hilarious to quirky posts, Ranveer comes up with things that are beyond anyone’s imagination. But that being said that, there is truly no one in the industry who is as crazy and energetic as he is.

For a while now, the actor was busy shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Padmavati’. But now he is back and how! First, he shaved off his beard that he has maintained for his new character, Allaudin Khilji and fans seem to love this new look of his.

He also shared a post last night where he was seen grooving to a 90’s famous number, ‘Sarkaye Lo Khatiya Jada Lage’. Well, we are absolutely sure that the song has already made you nostalgic. After all, how can we forget B-town’s number 1 on-screen pair of Karisma and Govinda making us tap our feet to this peppy number?

Ranveer Singh captioned the video as, “YOLO SO LOLO #timepass @therealkarismakapoor @govinda_herono1.” Lolo indeed was impressed with the clip and shared it on her Instagram as well.

Ranveer brought back all those fantastic memories, reminding us of Govinda, jumping and dancing on a Khatiya, like a boss!

But ‘Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost’, as it seems that destiny wanted more. And soon Ranveer and Lolo both bumped into each other at the airport. And then something happened, as the two grooved together on the song once again, giving us major feels.

See who I met at the airport 😄#serendipity #airportspotting🕺💃#geekchic🤓#aboutlastnight @ranveersingh

The only thing left for this to be perfect is if they managed to somehow rope in the godfather of the hip thrust, Govinda himself.
