Superstar Akshay Kumar will next be seen in Reema Kagti’s film, “Gold”. While the makers have already shot for the film and released the first teaser by the start of 2018.
However, the team is done with the shoot of the film and Akshay is now busy the shoot of his other film Reema Kagti’s team decided to give him a bag filled with gifts as they were missing the to shoot with him. Not just that but, they also turned up to meet him and surprise him with gifts.
A source informed to a daily, “The movie is scheduled to release on the Independence Day weekend. And the team cherished the experience of shooting with Khiladi Kumar. So, a couple of Reema’s assistants along with some crew members went to meet Akshay. Guess after the time spent with him, they also knew that though he is strict about his eating habits, he has a sweet tooth. As a result, they brought two cakes made especially for him, a lovely pair of shoes in an unusual sky blue colour (Akki has a huge collection of footwear) and a T-shirt with the slogan ‘One more for safety’ embossed on it, which they gifted him.”
However, after receiving the gifts the actor was overwhelmed and touched by the love with the gesture of the team. He was first puzzled by the slogan written on the t-shirt. However, he somehow understood what it meant
The source added, “Every time Akshay finished giving a take, Reema would ask him to give one more for safety, even if the earlier one was a perfect shot. The team wanted to gift the actor something that he would remember. So, they figured this would be an apt present.”
Talking about the film, it is based on India’s first Olympic medal winner in hockey after India became independent and set to hit the screens on August 15, 2018.
