A Pali Hill birdie was rather amused after hearing about Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff teaming up for Siddharth Anand’s film. To jog your memory, after Sanjay Dutt walked free in February 2016, the actor had chosen Anand’s thriller for his comeback.

After beginnning preparations for the role, Dutt did a rethink when he read the final draft. He felt it was a mish-mash of several Hollywood flicks like ‘Captain Phillips’ (2013), ‘The Jackal’ (1997) and Under Siege’ (1992).
Not wanting his comeback to be labelled a rehash of Western films, Sanju Baba opted out of the project. The birdie hopes the producers (Yash Raj Films) have read the script. And more importantly, seen the aforementioned Hollywood flicks. Or is it an entirely new story that Anand has come up with?
