With all due respect to Tom Hardy and his skills as an actor, one thing that has always caught everyone’s attention is the number of tattoos the man has got. 

If you have ever seen him shirtless (which of course you have), you’d know that when we talk about his tattoos, we don’t mean those teeny-tiny cute ones that most actors have. Tom REALLY loves getting inked and he likes his tattoos big.

The latest addition to his long list of tattoos is the one that says ‘Leo Knows All’. If you don’t know what that means, this tattoo is a result of a lost bet with Leonardo DiCaprio. 

After his splendid performance in ‘The Revenant’, Leo was of the view that Tom would definitely get nominated for the Academy Awards. While Tom being his modest self, denied that this would ever happen, Leo decided to bet on it. The two made a deal that if he does get nominated then he would have to get a tattoo of Leo’s choice. 

And well, this is what has happened now:

As for his other tattoos, here’s what they mean:

The leprechaun on his right arm, which he got inked at the age of 15 is apparently an ode to his Irish heritage. It symbolizes the connection with his maternal ancestors as his mother belonged to Irish Catholics.  The words ‘Figlio mio belissimo’ on his lower right bicep mean ‘my beautiful son’.

For his ex-wife Sarah Ward (from 1999 to 2008), Tom got not one but two tattoos. On the side of his stomach, he’s got ‘Till I die SW’ and a dragon on his left arm because Sarah was born in the Year of the Dragon.

He’s also got the name his current wife’s name ‘Charlotte’ on his shoulder.

And if you have noticed the name ‘Lindy King’ on his body then we should tell you it does signify a woman but not a former girlfriend or wife. In fact, it represents his agent Lindy King who helped him become a successful actor.

The large portrait of Madonna (Mary, Jesus’ mother) cradling a baby holds a special meaning. In Tom’s own words, “That was about mothering me. I went through a lot of stuff leaving home and becoming a father and growing up to be my own mother. I have a mother; she’s amazing. But this is about being able to mother my parents and my son and myself – which is very painful. Getting my head around that growth spurt.”  It also includes the date of his son Louis’ birth “848” (He was born on April 8, 2008).

Right below the Madonna tattoo is the London Skyline as he was born in London. And he’s also got the Union Jack on his chest.

On his left pec he has the words ‘Padre Fiero’ for his son as it means ‘proud father’.

The number ‘1338046’ on his chest signifies his best mate’s dad’s Marine Corps number and just below that are the self-explantory comedy and tragedy masks with “Smile Now Cry Later”.

To signify his love for his wife Charlotte Riley, he has got a massive portrait tattooed on his back.

There’s also a raven tattoo that appears to have a bat inside it, inked on his chest. Apparently, this picture is devoted to two films that brought him worldwide recognition: ‘Mad Max’ and ‘The Dark Knight Rises’.

There’s also a wolf, raven and sacred heart inscribed onto his forearm which is inspired by ‘The Revenant’. Tom says: “It’s a wolf, a raven and a sacred heart. So my heart is on my sleeve. The raven and wolf are important animals to me.”

He also has a couple of other random tattoos like a feather and a small cross among others, the meaning behind which is unknown. 

Starting with a fair warning:  you are about to see a lot of celebrities together in an extremely confusing trailer which might leave you star struck yet dumbfounded at the same time. So, brace yourself. 

Back in July 2017, you might have seen photos of Lara Dutta, Diljit Dosanjh and Sonakshi Sinha walking the green carpet at IFFA Awards.

If you found it extremely weird and out-of-the blue, we should tell you that they were actually shooting on the green carpet for their movie ‘Welcome To New York’. 

Now we know that Sonakshi and Diljit make for a rather unconventional couple but we were still pretty excited to see what’s in store for us. And boy, we have a lot to absorb!

Just a few days back, we got to see a ‘leaked’ video chat between Diljit and Sonakshi. They were then joined by Karan Johar, followed by Boman Irani, Lara Dutta and Riteish Deshmukh. 

This was enough to leave us extremely confused but when we saw ‘Salman Khan calling’ appear on the screen, we were blown away.

And today, the makers finally dropped the trailer of this multi-starrer film and it was launched by none other than Salman Khan. You know it’s something special when the ‘Dabangg’ of Bollywood posts about it.

Sonakshi plays a fashion designer who meets Diljit and somehow, they become a part of a big event that will take place in New York. This obviously means one hell of roller coaster ride. But that’s pretty much the plot of the story.

While the star cast definitely is the major point of attraction in the trailer, you can obviously expect some lame AF jokes including Karan Johar (who btw is playing a double role) making fun of his own movies.

Directed by Chakri Toleti, ‘Welcome To New York’ is touted as India’s first 3D comedy film and is set to hit the screens on February 23, 2018.

In the past, Steven Spielberg’s films have managed to garner worldwide attention and there is no doubt about the fact that he is one of the finest directors in the Hollywood industry. While he does have a ton of critics scrutinizing each and every movie of his, especially the ones belonging to the sci-fi genre, you can’t ignore that he is a visionary. And his upcoming film ‘Ready Player One’ goes on to prove that there is no stopping him.

For those who don’t know, the film is based on Ernest Cline’s novel of the same name.

The novel took the world by storm and when we heard that Spielberg is bringing it on celluloid, our happiness knew no bounds. 

The movie is set in 2045 where the Earth as we know it, has basically just reduced down to slum-like cities due to overpopulation, pollution, corruption, and climate change. But people have found an escape and that is to engage in the virtual reality world of the OASIS (Ontologically Anthropocentric Sensory Immersive Simulation).

However, when the creator of OASIS dies, he leaves behind the ownership with the first person who will find a hidden treasure within OASIS by playing games and solving puzzles.

The trailer, for obvious reasons, managed to break the internet and made us desperate to watch the movie. However, since the release seems to be a little too far right now, Spielberg is here to calm us down a little.

With a new teaser, titled ‘See the Future’, the author of the novel, Ernest Cline pays tribute to Spielberg and his work. He confesses that without Spielberg’s movies, he wouldn’t have been able to become the author that he is today and that ‘Ready Player One’ wouldn’t have been born. 

Further, we see Spielberg talking about his inspiration behind the film and offer us more insight into his thought process. And we have got to admit; it is always a delight to see a legend like him talk about what goes into making his out-of-the-world movies.

If you call yourself a die-hard fan of Tom Hardy, then you must already know that being an actor was not always his aim. It was to become a successful rapper.

Since his teenage days, Hardy spent a significant amount rapping but he wasn’t exactly what one could call ‘good’ back in the day. But he still likes to drop beats whenever he can, even if it’s with his son.

In an interview with BBC back in 2011, he also revealed that he recorded albums too but unfortunately they never got to see the light of the day. That is until now. 

A mixtape with the name ‘Falling On Your Arse In 1999’ was uploaded to Bandcamp earlier this month by DJ Eddie Too Tall aka Ed Tracy. Edward is a BAFTA-winning television writer and director.

While this mixtape is getting pretty good reviews, we would like to see Tom sticking to acting as of now. Along with that, a little bit of rapping here and there would act as the cherry on top of the cake.

2018 has been off to a great start for Ram Gopal Varma. He has managed to be in the news over the last few weeks thanks to his upcoming project with adult star Mia Malkova. 

The director-producer has shot ‘something’ with her titled ‘God, Sex and Truth’. We are calling it ‘something’ because of his own words, “GOD, SEX and TRUTH is neither a film, nor a short film nor a series …it’s about Mia Malkova speaking about sex and how much it means to her. I, both as a person and as a film maker very strongly believe in the underlying depth of what GOD ,SEX and TRUTH truly represents.”
