Pahlaj Nihalani Wiped Out All Sanskaar Out Of 'Julie 2' Trailer In His Quest To Clean Up Bollywood

Former CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani aka Alok Nath’s doppelganger (in terms of sanskaar) aka the master of cuts, has finally shed his ‘sanskari’ image and how. Honestly, had there been a world record for suggesting extreme number of cuts in any movie, with words ranging from f**k, screw, a****le, bi**h to even Bombay; Nihalani would have broken all of them. Having said that, the man who was known for demanding unnecessary cuts in a movie during his tenure, seems to be on a erotic trip these days and his latest video *cough* ‘Julie 2′ trailer *cough* is proof of how fancy his life after CBFC is. We guess all those innumerable cuts suggested were finally put to some using and that was to make the script of a ‘clean’ erotic movie ‘Julie 2′. ‘Julie 2′ is the sequel to Neha Dhupia’s 2004 ‘Julie’.

The movie that marks the debut of actress Raai Laxmi in Bollywood has already dropped many a jaws, partly because of the steamy scenes and partly because we weren’t expecting this overload of carnal ‘sanskaar’ from Nihalani. Having said that, by the looks of the trailer, the movie does not seem to offer anything new as it revolves around the same old practice of casting couch and how some sleazy producers and directors often dupe newbies into giving sexual favours for movie roles. And while our protagonist Julie narrates her ordeal, audience is taken through a series of random close up shots of her swimming in bikini, she undressing herself and a CID officer Abhijeet (actor Aditya Srivastava) popping out of nowhere to solve a murder case. The movie is directed by Deepak Shivdasani and also features Rati Agnihotri, Sahil Salathia, Ravi Kishen and Pankaj Tripathi. It is slated to release on October 6.

Well, we guess Nihalani is spot on with his job even after his ousting from CBFC. Earlier, it was reported that he once said he will clean up all the Bollywood movies and he did that with ‘Julie 2′ trailer – he wiped all the ‘sanskaar’ out from this movie.

The untold love saga of renowned poets Sahir Ludhianvi and Amrita Pritam is being revived on the big screen by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and our excitement levels were quite high when it was rumoured that Priyanka Chopra and Irrfan Khan will play the lead in the biopic. Well, the recent developments have put all these rumours to rest as it turns out that neither our favourite resident bae from Hollywood (PeeCee) nor Irrfan are going to be in the movie.

But, Bhansali did not leave any room for disappointment since the actors that have been roped in, will surely sizzle the screen with their real-life chemistry. We are talking about none other than the gorgeous Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, who are reuniting for a movie after 7 long years. The last film they did together was Mani Ratnam’s ‘Raavan’.

Reportedly, Abhishek is stepping in Sahir Ludhianvi’s shoes, who is known for penning some beautiful songs like ‘Jinhe Naaz Hai Hind Par’ and ‘Maang Ke Sath Tumhara’, and has already started preparing for his role as well. In fact, it is being said that this movie will mark the directorial debut of Jasmeet Reen. The film is expected to go on the floors early next year and our expectations are really high from Bhansali, who has earlier given us movies like ‘Bajirao Mastani’, ‘Devdas’ and ‘Black’ to name a few.

This movie will mark Abhishek’s first collaboration with Bhansali, while Aishwarya has already worked with him in some of the iconic movies of all time like ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ and ‘Guzaarish’. Apparently, this is for the third time that Abhishek will work in a movie based on a real-life character. Earlier, he had worked in ‘Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey’ along with actress Deepika Padukone and ‘Guru’ that was loosely based on the life of businessman Dhirubhai Ambani.

The show is the Indian version of ‘Lip Sync Battle’ and will see our beloved celebrities fighting each other and lip syncing to the Bollywood songs. The movie will be directed by Atul Manjrekar and will also have actor Anil Kapoor in the lead. Rao is currently busy filming Hansal Mehta’s biographical series ‘Bose’ in Poland and is apparently excited to share screen space with Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Talking about the film’s leading lady, Rao said, “She’s the most beautiful woman in the world. It’s a great story, there’s a lot of love, and the content is not just entertaining but is detailed and different. There will be lots of workshops and readings once I am back.”

‘Fanney Khan’ narrates the relationship between a father and his 16-year-old daughter who wants to become a singer. Anil Kapoor has been roped in for the father’s role and we are really excited to see on screen with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan after a long hiatus of 17 years. The actors were last seen together in ‘Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’. The movie is being said to be the Hindi adaptation of Dominique Deruddere’s 2000 hit ‘Everybody’s Famous!’ and will hit theatres in September 2017.

Earlier this month, he donated a sum of Rs. 25 Lakh to help the flood victims in Assam and Gujarat. Takashi Miike, the man who gave us movies like ‘Audition’, ’13 Assassins’, ‘Visitor Q’, ‘Ichi the Killer’, ‘Dead or Alive’, and ‘Hara-Kiri: Death of a Samurai’, is back in action with his upcoming release, which we feel is going to be one of the goriest movies of all time. For a director who has worked with countless genres and is making his 100th film, calling him an immortal wouldnt really be an exaggeration and this goes without saying that every movie of his is like a blade that hits its target with accuracy. It’s impossible for anyone to discuss action movies without mentioning Miike’s name and again we are not exaggerating, this man knows his work through and through and isn’t afraid of pushing the boundaries when it comes violence and bloodshed. And the red band trailer of his upcoming project ‘Blade of the Immortal’ seems to be the perfect outlet to showcase how messed up and brutal an action movie can be.

Based on the 2008 hit Japanese manga series of the same name by Hiaroako Samura, this movie is a revenge tale of a young girl who meets a Samurai, cursed with immortality (until he kills 1000 evil men) for taking innocent lives. The samurai, who’s living in Japan as a criminal, becomes the girl’s bodyguard and then begins a journey that is filled with vengeance, slaughter and bloodshed that will be over only when this unlikely duo beats all the odds and win their fight for what is right. Takuya Kimura looks phenomenal as Samurai Manji and while our imaginations ran loose after watching the manga, there couldn’t have been a better choice than Kimura for the role.

With limbs getting chopped off and growing back on their own, throats getting slit, swords and killer designed blades slicing bodies in air, and blood flowing everywhere; the trailer of this badass and mad-house action thriller truly earns the red band status and although we are creeped out by the trailer, we are still looking forward to this one. Well, the legendary director has blown the trumpet loud and clear, the voice of which will be echoed on November 3. It will however premiere at the Fantastic Fest in Austin, Texas in September.

Twitter Went Into A Meltdown & Is Still Shaking After Watching 'Game Of Thrones' 7 Finale

Disclaimer: This post contains spoilers from the ‘Game of Thrones’ finale episode and if you haven’t seen it already, treat this as a teaser and go watch it now.

Despite the alleged plot outline leak and spoilers making rounds on the internet, ‘Game Of Thrones’ season 7 is finally over and how. All the hype and suspense that was created around the finale episode was worth every second and was possibly one of the most momentous episodes in the history of ‘Game of Thrones’. Although the show has ended, we have a lot of things to be happy about. First of all, I never expected Sansa to be that badass. While Arya was summoned to the court on charges of treason and murder, things took a detour and Littlefiger got exposed and KILLED at the hands of Arya in front of the court.

The stark siblings – Sansa, Arya and Bran- owned the moment like a boss. It was truly a game changer and possibly the only death we were excited and happy about. The past episodes had already created so many situations that hinted that someone will die, but the traitor Littlefinger will be the one was kind of shocking yet really satisfying (although most of us had guessed it will happen). One can actually die for Arya’s smirk.

Apart from virtues like greed, betrayal and power; if there’s anything that Game of Thrones has taught us, it is how not to get creeped out by incest. And while in the first season, we flipped at Jamie and Cersei’s affair, we were kind of rooting for things to heat up between Jon and Dany (and it finally happened), but not at a time when Bran was narrating the relationship between the two. After watching such an amazing finale, Twitter was in a meltdown and couldn’t handle all these fiery curveballs thrown at them.

HBO Hackers Leak The Climax & Plot Outline Of Game Of Thrones 7 Finale, Ruining It All For Us

Compared to the previous episodes of Game of Thrones season 7, the wait for the last episode was slightly longer because most of us had already seen the episode 6 before its official release, all thanks to the accidental airing by HBO Spain. While we were waiting for the finale episode with our bottled up excitement intact, counting each passing minute waiting for Monday; the impatient hackers went ahead and threw a surprise deadlier than Drogon’s fireball, marring the show for us. All the pent up suspense that kept us fans sleepless the whole week, wondering who will win in ‘The Dragon and the Wolf’, was sadly murdered by the hackers as they allegedly leaked the climax of the finale episode online.

According to Mashable, the hackers who call themselves ‘Mr. Smith’ have stolen approximately 1.5 terabytes of data from HBO and have released confidential plot summaries and details of the how this season will end. They are calling it the sixth wave of leaks. Apparently, the confidential plot summaries and outlines seem to predict (in exact detail) how the season will end. In fact, according to a report published in The Independent, the hackers have posted spoilers of season 7 including the climax on a Reddit thread called Freefolk. It read, “A detailed outline of every episode in season 7 including the finale, intended for internal use and dated April 2016 was posted on Reddit’s Game of Thrones spoilers-dedicated subreddit, Freefolk, apparently originating from the HBO hack.”

Ever since the hackers got access to HBO’s data, they have made things worse for not just for the company but for all the ardent GOT fans. If the scripts or story plots weren’t enough, they went ahead and hacked into HBO’s and Game of Thrones’ official social media accounts while ‘testing their security’. But, they clearly didn’t stop there. The hackers have demanded a ransom of $6.5 million worth of Bitcoin, which hasn’t been met as of now. In fact, HBO said that the hackers might continue to drop bits and pieces of stolen information and was quoted as saying, “That’s a game we’re not going to participate in.”

While some were treating this as a hoax and fake leaks, reports suggest that these leaks are pretty much legitimate and do reveal the whole plot. We, guess we’ll have to wait for a day more to see if these leaks are true or not.
