2017 was without a doubt a brilliant year for the insanely talented Ayushmann Khurrana. In an industry where folks are still struggling to get a grip on the nuances of acting, this man can charms your socks off with not just his performance but also his lovely voice.

Being in Bollywood, which is very much dominated by a few names, it’s stunning to see how Ayushmann is making his way up the ladder by carving his own space. What makes him a shining example is the fact that neither does he come from a film background nor did he have a godfather launching him with a tailor-made film.

“Kya likh kar bhejoon aisa, Ki lage tujhe jaise, yaad hai tu mujhe Aur yaad bhi nahin.” -Ayushmann

A post shared by Ayushmann Khurrana (@ayushmannk) on Apr 6, 2018 at 11:12pm PDT

And what makes his achievements more noteworthy is that despite being around eight films old, he has already gained a massive and devoted fan following. While people have a fixed plan to achieve what they want, Ayushmann on the other hand had multiple plans to reach his goal. He believed in himself and there was just no stopping him after that.

Six brilliant years in the industry since he made his debut, we caught up with him for a chat and had a heart to heart conversation that left us in awe:

MensXP: From ‘Roadies’ to Bollywood, tell us about your fascinating journey to stardom.

Ayushmann: It was a long and fruitful journey. In fact, it started before Roadies when I was a part of a singing reality show ‘Popstars’. I was in the top five and I was also working as a backup artist for the band. It was my first stint with reality shows; it was in 2002 when I was not even 18 at the time. Roadies happened in 2004 and I won that. Then radio happened in 2006, MTV happened in 2008 and ‘Vicky Donor’ happened in 2012. It took me 10 long years to enter Bollywood. So that was a long and fruitful journey, I wouldn’t call it struggling but it was a lot of fun.

MensXP: Were reality shows your well thought plan to enter Bollywood?

Ayushmann: Obviously, because I am not from the industry, so no one will prepare a launch pad for me. So generally it’s been a trend that people who are not from the industry are either from the television industry, modelling or either through theatre, they had to do various other things to each this destination. So I had to take plan ‘D’, plan ‘C’ to make my own route.

MensXP: Your character in ‘Vicky Donor’ was quite unusual, what made you pick it and how challenging was it?

Ayushmann: You won’t believe that I have said ‘no’ to a lot of scripts before going for ‘Vicky Donor’. I always thought when I do a film it has to be different and out of the box. Because I have seen as an outsider that if your first film doesn’t work, then you are not given an opportunity if you are not star kid. So I had to do something which was radical and different and I since I was aware about this process of sperm donation, because I had donated sperm in 2004 as part of ‘Roadies’. When I read the script I was bowled over by the subject because it wasn’t something cheap but something very progressive. Also, the director was very creditable, Shoojit Sircar has made ‘Yahaan’ that time and I loved the film. So I was well aware that I was working with a credible director with a credible film, I was very confident.

MensXP: And what was your reaction the day your film released, were you open to criticism?

Ayushmann: You know I am realistic, I don’t live in la la land or a bubble, because I have seen that happening in front of me as an RJ and a VJ. I have gone through all of this and it wasn’t an overnight success, I took 10 long years, and I was very practical as a person. So I was very happy with the positive review we got and the success of the film.

MensXP: People love your voice, when can we hear you sing again?

Ayushmann: I am in talks and I am jamming with my friend, you will be hearing something soon. I usually don’t cut a single when my films are releasing back to back. And last year three films of mine released and each had a song of mine, so there was no point cutting a single. So this time around, I think I will be cutting one. Also, since my last two films ‘ Shubh Mangal Savadhan’  and ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’ had a Hindi song, so this time people should expect a Punjabi song.

MensXP: Who has been your most favourite female co-star and why?

Ayushmann: It’s Bhumi Pednekar, we have done two films together. And we are great buddies, she is like my boy buddy and I am like her girl buddy, so we share crazy chemistry on and off-screen. So it has to be Bhumi.

MensXP: That’s wonderful, so what’s that one thing you love about Bhumi?

Ayushmann: I think we think alike, it reflects on the choice of cinema we pick. We have the same sense of humour, it’s like a house of fire when we are together on the sets.

Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar(c) Twitter

MensXP: What was that one turning point in your life?

Ayushmann: I think when I became an actor, when I did ‘Vicky Donor’ that was my turning point. Suddenly I was working 24/7, when I was a VJ I used to work 15 days a month but after becoming an actor, I started working for 32 days a month, it felt like that. So our personal lives suffered because of that, because both of us were not ready for that kind of shift in our lifestyle and I had no time for my personal relationship.

MensXP: What has been your lowest point, when you felt like giving up?

Ayushmann: There were lot of low points; I had seen a lot of rejections. There were a lot of people saying that “your eyebrows are weird and bushy, you can’t be an actor”. If you see my Instagram that’s what my bio reads, ‘Eyebrows are bushy’ because I am proud of them. I have gone through a lot, but if you believe in your talent, you can achieve anything in life. It’s about believing in your potential.

Today’s story. Really fun photoshoot @JWsahar

A post shared by Ayushmann Khurrana (@ayushmannk) on Oct 9, 2017 at 12:39pm PDT

MensXP: You are called the face of content cinema today. Tell us about your content choices?

Ayushmann: The process is very simple, I hear the narration, I need to connect with the film. I come from a theatre background, I connect with the masses at the grassroot level, so if the script reflects that experience of my life, and connects with the primary sector, the script has to be about the simplicity of the nation. That’s what makes me pick the film.

To be frank I give priority to the script first. If it is good, the character automatically becomes good. A script plays a major role in the film, if you connect with it you give your 100% as an actor. As per that you transform yourself, like for me ‘ Dum Laga Ke Haisha’ was the toughtest. There were references for me as my character was a loser. So I had to really work hard on that accent and the body language.

MensXP: Have you ever learned anything from the characters you play and executed it in your life?

Ayushmann: Sometimes you give something to the film from your real life experiences and at times you take something from the film and incorporate it in your real life. No one does that consciously, it just happens. You should never do it purposely, it should organically flow.

MensXP: Actor-singer-poet: any other talent that Ayushmann is hiding from us?

Ayushmann: (laughs) I don’t know, I am just following my passion. I always wanted to become an actor who could sing and I am doing that. I have always written poetry from childhood, it’s just that people got to know about it now. The idea is to have a book of my own in a year’s time. I think you just need one talent to survive in life but I am glad I have certain aspects in my life. I just have to hold on to that even more.

We had to wait for decades before we got a black superhero in form of Black Panther. With superhero being the buzzword, India has come with its own new superhero. But the question is: are we ready for this?

Teaser Of 'Bhavesh Joshi Superhero' Shows That Harshvardhan Kapoor Is Basically Our Desi Daredevil© FuhSePhantom

Director Vikramaditya Motwane’s film ‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ gave us a sneak peek at its teaser and at first glance the poster totally reminds us of the Netflix blockbuster, ‘Daredevil’. We know the comparison is a little too far-fetched, yet we are gonna go ahead with it, because hey, it IS close, right?

Teaser Of 'Bhavesh Joshi Superhero' Shows That Harshvardhan Kapoor Is Basically Our Desi Daredevil© FuhSePhantom

The 85-second teaser, which quickly gained momentum on Instagram, stars Harshvardhan Kapoor in the lead. It starts with a voice-over which no doubt got us completely hooked. Call him a crusader or a fighter, he is here to fix things and that is the first actual takeaway from the teaser. An ordinary man by day and a crime-fighting vigilante by night? Count us in!

Action-packed fight sequences, a glow-in-the-dark mask, bikes with turbo jets and a cliffhanger of an end sequence—the teaser (which almost seemed to us like a trailer) had plenty to bite into if you’re into superhero movies.

In a country where we have seen superhero movies like ‘Krrish’, and ‘Flying Jatt’, Bollywood is yet to make a film that not just kids but even the adult audience can relate to.

Could this be the first real superhero movie? Only time will tell. But, what we can decipher from the teaser is that this is unlike most commercial superhero movies we’ve seen in the past. Well, to begin with there’s no Tiger shroff or Hrithik Roshan flying around in funny costumes and dancing with exotic actresses in remote mountains. So, full marks for the packaging and the visuals!

‘Bhavesh Joshi Superhero’ is Harshvardhan Kapoor’s second movie after his debut film ‘Mirzya’ tanked miserably at the box office, leaving many stunned and disappointed at the same time. Maybe, it was the mere fact that people expected a lot more from Anil Kapoor’s son.

The movie will hit the screens on May 25, 2018, and it would be interesting to see how this one performs at the box-office.

The TIME’s 100 Most Influential People List is out and guess who made it to the list from India this time?

Well, all we can say is that those who have made it to the list rule millions of hearts and have a massive fan following and deserve this space for sure.

Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone, Indian Cricket Team Skipper Virat Kohli, Ola co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal and Microsoft’s Indian-born CEO Satya Nadella have been named in the list this year.

Describing the type of people that usually make it to the list, the magazine said, “TIME’s annual list of the world’s most influential people is a designation of individuals whose time, in our estimation, is now.”

Describing Kohli, Indian cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar wrote “hunger for runs and consistency. Has been remarkable and has become the hallmark of his game.”

Recalling the first time he saw him playing for Under-19 World Cup he said, “That was the first time I watched this young, passionate player lead India. Today, Virat Kohli is a household name and a champion in cricket. Even back then, his hunger for runs and consistency was remarkable, something that has become the hallmark of his game. Virat took the criticism he faced during a disappointing West Indies series and returned home with a goal: to improve not only his technique but also his fitness level. He’s never looked back.”

When such words come from someone like Tendulkar you know for sure that Kohli deserves every bit of this appreciation.

Writing a profile for Bhavish Aggarwal, Sachin Bansal, Executive chairman of Flipkart said Aggarwal, “scaled it (Ola) to more than 100 Indian cities, empowered millions of driver-partners and commuters, and is a flag bearer for India’s consumer-tech ecosystem all by the age of 32.”

But it was Deepika’s profile that made us fall for her all over again. Written by none other than Hollywood superstar Vin Diesel, he said, “not just here to represent India, she’s here to represent the world.”

Further stating that “Deepika is the best Earth has to offer”, he added that he admired her “synchronicity, a synergy, a chemistry” when he first met her during his shoot for ‘Fast and the Furious’. Though they didn’t work together Diesel was already enamoured by her, in fact when he got the chance, Deepika became the first person to be cast for ‘xXx: Return of Xander Cage.’

forever grateful! @vindiesel #TIME100 @time

Diesel has definitely given every Indian out there a reason to smile.

On Satya Nadella, Walter Isaacson, a professor of history at Tulane University and a former managing editor of TIME, said, “Since becoming CEO of Microsoft in 2014, Nadella has used those principles to restore the company’s spirit of innovation. Consider its new product strategy, which emphasizes cloud computing and allowing people to collaborate across platforms.”

Other people who have made it to the list this year are actress Nicole Kidman, Gal Gadot, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, London Mayor Sadiq Khan, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Chinese President Xi Jinping, North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, Ireland’s Prime Minister Leo Varadkar, Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina and singer Rihanna.

It is common knowledge that Hollywood is fascinated by the subtle yet powerful presence of Irrfan Khan, which is why it was no surprise to witness him in the trailer of ‘Puzzle’.

Based on an Argentinean novel named ‘Puzzle’, the trailer for the movie has just dropped today and we have it on repeat already.

Irrfan Khan's Puzzle Trailer Talks About Faith, Ambition, Love & Life© Sony Pictures Classics

While actors find it difficult to choose the right films, Irrfan seems to have mastered the knack of picking scripts which highlight his talent. He is a global star who can entertain people worldwide effortlessly.

Starring Kelly Macdonald (Famous for ‘No Country For Old Men’ & ‘Gosford Park’) in the lead, ‘Puzzle’ is the story of Agnes, who is living an ordinary, mundane life. She wants more from life but can’t seem to because of the circumstances and responsibilities.

But her life finds new meaning when she solves a jigsaw puzzle for the first time as an adult. Even her husband Louie (David Denman) simply fails to understand what Agnes wants in life. Her desire to solve more puzzles leads her to Robert (Irrfan Khan), who inspires her and encourages her with right words, something that was missing from her life.

The 2-minute-16-second trailer is heart-warming, intriguing and talks about life in the most soothing manner. Robert is an accomplished businessman looking for a partner for a competition.

The clip brings you a tale of love, ambition, desire, life and we are blown by how simply the makers have represented this complex story. You see Agnes transforming into a confident woman, making you root for her.

Kelly is exceptional in the trailer and the film has a feel-good tone that keeps you hooked, but it is Irrfan’s presence that adds the missing element in the film, making it a beautiful watch. It makes you think about life like never before.

“Life is messy. There is nothing we can do to control anything,” says Irrfan in the trailer, giving us a clue that all the puzzle pieces in this film will eventually fit in the right place. Every dialogue delivered by Irrfan has a deep meaning that strikes the right chord in your heart.

The only blip is that the trailer reveals the entire story of the film, slightly dampening our excitement. But we hope there is more to the story than what’s shown because we are definitely looking forward to this one.

Directed by Marc Turtletaub, the film was premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and will release on July 13, 2018.

Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past few years, you will have noticed that Benedict Cumberbatch has slowly and steadily gained a massive fan following over the years. Well, for us it started with his unparalleled portrayal of Sherlock Holmes. His charming arrogance and his trademark I -don’t-give-a-f**k attitude wrapped us in a spell that left us wanting more everytime.

And then came Doctor Strange. Whether you love or hate superheroes, Dr. Strange was definitely a character that could not be ignored. From saving the world to using the Time Stone, Cumberbatch nailed Strange down to the last detail.

With ‘Avengers’ coming up with their next mind-blowing installment, we can’t stop obsessing over what’s in store for the Marvel superheroes this time. The Russo brothers are already breaking records even before the film has hit the screens as the trailer got 230 million views within 24 hours.

So, when MensXP got the rare chance for a tete-a-tete with the star cast of the film in Singapore, we unleashed a barrage of questions to satiate our anxious souls, and of course, our readers.

Speaking to Benedict Cumberbatch, aka Dr. Strange himself, we discovered a lot more than we thought we would, about the man with the magic red cape.

MensXP: Do you read comic books? Are you a fan of the Avengers?

Benedict Cumberbatch: Well, I do read comic books now than earlier. I am a massive Marvel fan though, massive MCU fan. I have watched the films, more than I have read the comics. But now having got this role, I have started to read more

MensXP: The Sorcerer Supreme vs The God of Mischief. Who would win?

Benedict Cumberbatch: Definitely the Sorcerer Supreme (smiles), judging by Ragnarok, it’s all tied all.

Dr. Strange Tells Us If He'll Survive 'Infinity War'© Priyadarshini Patwa_Mensxp

MensXP: Your own solo movie vs a movie with every MCU character. What was more challenging?

Benedict Cumberbatch: Different challenges, not more or less. You have a lot of burdens if it’s your film that you are carrying but at the same time, you have to both protect your character integrity and how you manage to be part of a much bigger picture. It’s a tiny square in a huge maze, Avengers family.

MensXP: Will we get to see Dr. Strange use the Time Gem to save the day again in ‘Infinity War’?

Benedict Cumberbatch: You will have to wait and see (grin)

MensXP: Will you survive Thanos’ assault on Earth? Any plans for Dr. Strange 2?

Benedict Cumberbatch: You will have to see that (laughs). You will need to watch the film to see if he makes it out the film alive. I said in the first film that Dr. Strange will be back and I have been back in ‘Thor: Ragnarok’, I have been back in ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, so if I will be back again? You will have to wait and see.

Dr. Strange Tells Us If He'll Survive 'Infinity War'© Marvel

MensXP: There’s a big match on TV and your wife wants to have dinner from a place that doesn’t deliver? What would Doctor Strange do?

Benedict Cumberbatch: He will probably portal himself to the restaurant and come back with the food and of course, pause the game as well, stop time!

MensXP: After all the interviews if Dr. Strange could go somewhere instantly to relax where would he go?

Benedict Cumberbatch: Hmm, a hammock or my bed or a spa (laughs), so many places like these, where normal people get to relax. Would like to have dinner with friends or he might just sit down and watch a movie, who knows (grins).

MensXP: What should people expect from Dr. Strange?

Benedict Cumberbatch: Expect the unexpected. Well, he is a lot better at his craft, he will be seen doing some pretty cool stuff. He is more mature, but a lot funny and he is definitely growing up.

MensXP: When can we expect Doctor Strange to come down to India?

Benedict Cumberbatch: Oh, he is coming down to India, just after this Interview. I am going to portal myself and say ‘hi’ and then portal myself back.

Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool is forming a “super duper f***ing group” and we are loving it. The final trailer of ‘Deadpool 2’ is out and it’s worth all the hype and wait.

The clip shows us Merc with a Mouth in his trademark violent avatar, mouthing wisecracks, full of humour and everything in between that the fans could have asked for and more. This time Deadpool is coming together with Zazie Beetz’s Domino and T.J Miller’s Weasel to take over the powerful Cable (Josh Brolin).

Deadpool 2 (c) 20th Century Fox

Following its classic mannerism, the sequel is full of flying motorcycles, kicks and punches and one-liners that can crack you up instantly. Like just imagine Deadpool saying in the middle of an intense gunfight, “Ohh, your bullets. They’re really fast.”

The makers even poke fun at Brolin’s villainous double-duty as he will be seen both in ‘Deadpool 2’ as well as ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ (Well, that’s funny).

Deadpool 2(c) 20th Century Fox

But the highlight of the clip is when Cable calls Deadpool “a clown dressed up as a sex toy,” to which he smartly responds, “So dark — are you sure you’re not from the DC universe?” (full points for this dialogue, Deadpool!).

We also see Peter, who wants to join the X-Force team. The movie also stars Brianna Hildebrand, Morena Baccarin, Leslie Uggams, and Stefan Kapicic, Julian Dennison and will hit the theaters on May 18. Watch the trailer now:

Pakistani singer-actor Meesha Shafi, who made her debut in the film industry with Mira Nair’s ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’, has come forward and accused Ali Zafar of sexually harassing her, not just once but multiple times.

She claims that the actor-singer has harassed her several times when they have worked together.

With several sexual harassment cases flooding the social media, here comes another. The #MeToo has been trending and bringing several stories that can shake your soul and leave you panicking. Her post comes out in support of the movement that has created a revolution in the industry.

Taking to her Twitter, in loud and clear words she wrote, this didn’t happen when she was young or a newcomer, but this all happened when she was an accomplished woman. “Sharing this because I believe that by speaking out about my own experience of sexual harassment, I will break the culture of silence that permeates through our society. It is not easy to speak out. but it is harder to stay silent. My conscience will not allow it anymore #MeToo”

In the post she explains how she remained silent and suffered through it despite being a vocal and empowered woman, reminding us of the times many females have done the same. “As a woman, a public figure and a mother, I have always felt strongly about using my voice to encourage and support our youth who look up to me, especially the girls, who dream of carving their own path in Pakistan. …However, despite having a voice there are some issues that are difficult to speak about as a woman, especially sexual harassment.”

Meesha, whom we have also seen in Rakesh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’, continued, “I have been subjected, on more than one occasion, to sexual harassment of a physical nature at the hands of a colleague from my industry – Ali Zafar. These incidences did not happen when I was young or just entering the industry. This happened to me despite the fact that I am an empowered, accomplished woman who is known for speaking her mind! This happened to me as a mother of two children.”

Continuing and sharing about the horrific incident she wrote, “Ali is someone I have known for many years and someone I shared the stage with. I feel betrayed by his behaviour and his attitude and I know that I am not alone.”

— Meesha Shafi (@itsmeeshashafi) April 19, 2018

Meesha’s post clearly says that she is sharing her story now so that more girls can come out and she can encourage them to follow their dreams.

Ali is a popular actor and we have seen him in Bollywood movies like ‘Dear Zindagi’, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’, ‘Tere Bin Laden’ and ‘Chashme Baddoor’ among others. Ali’s music has also seen quite a lot of success in India.

Ali hasn’t responded yet and we are waiting to see what he has to say about Shafi’s accusations.

“These creatures were here before us and if we are not careful…….they are going to be here after.”

The final trailer of ‘Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom’ is finally here and it truly revives all our childhood memories. While the previous trailer gave us a sneak-peek into the dinosaur theme park Isla Nublar, it also introduced us to Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) and Claire Dearing (Bryce Dallas Howard) who are all set to take up a rescue mission again.

The trailer starts with a high and ends with one. We see Chris trying to get Claire away from a tranquilized T-rex, only to get smashed by it. Soon the two are seen running for their lives; after all, nothing is more dangerous in the world than a conscious dino.

Later, the two take up a rescue mission by Rafe Spall’s Eli Mills who wants them to bring 11 species of the dinosaurs which also included Owen’s buddy Blue. “Hey Blue, you know me. Come with me, you know you can’t stay here,” says Owen to pacify Blue at the island. Yes, this time it’s Chris and Blue against a dangerous and terrifying dino.

Right after Blue is rescued, Chris realises that he has been conned and Mill has some evil plans in store for these species.

“The man who proved raptors can follow orders… you never thought how many millions a trained predator might be worth?” says Mills. He just wants to train them and sell it to the man who flashes the highest money.

We also get to see BD Wong’s Henry Wu, the former head geneticist at Jurassic World in the trailer. The new genetically enhanced dino can scare you to death. He can literally do anything! From killing mercilessly, chomping of a man from a helicopter in the ocean to get into kids’ bedroom, this one is an image of the savage killer.

But Owen and Blue are ready to take him down.

And we also have our favourite Jeff Goldblum making an appearance. “Welcome to Jurassic World,” he says.

Directed by JA Bayona, the movie will hit the screens on June 22 and it is going to be one hell of a ride. You just can’t miss this one for old time sake!

With just one week to go for ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, fans are already beside themselves with anticipation to see what Thanos does to their beloved superheroes. Of course, Marvel is doing what it does best, teasing us endlessly with teasers and TV spots and I don’t think I can take it anymore.

Iron Man and Star-Lord, Black Widow and Okoye, these are just a few names among the many, which we never imagined to see on the same screen. But I guess, the end of the world changes things.

Anyway, we were losing our minds in the process of waiting to see the Avengers in action again, and when we couldn’t take it anymore, we decided to take matters into our own hands and reach out to a crucial member of the team.

Badass, fierce, smart, sexy, lethal, intelligent (we can go on forever with the adjectives). Black Widow is a character who has struck a chord with both male and female fans alike, not just because she can kill you with her looks (literally), but because she is a deadly weapon, minus any superpowers, with an array of skills that make her one of a kind.

Scarlett Johansson, aka Natasha Romanoff, better known as Black Widow is literally the best spy/assassin/superhero there is, and when we got a chance to speak to her about the fate of the Avengers in ‘Infinity War’, it sure was an illuminating chat.

Where Do We Find Your Character At The Start Of ‘Infinity War’?

Black Widow: It’s hard to say because there is a two-year period between ‘Civil War’ and the start of ‘Infinity War’. There’s a lot to explore there, but certainly, I built a backstory for my own character that really finds her in a place where she is more determined than ever to be as strategic as possible and to keep everything under control as much as she possibly can. She’s kind of gone rogue. She and Cap are trying to monitor and take care of as much as they possibly can without having the structure that they had in the safety of the Avengers. They’re operating their own team so to speak. It’s kind of rough when we first find them. I imagine that Natasha is a little bit hardened from what she’s experienced and what she’s had to go through.

Where Are Steve Rogers And Natasha Heading In Their Friendship?

Black Widow: I think Steve and Natasha have a very fluid communication between them (smiles). They’ve obviously been on hundreds of missions together, in life or death situations. They operate very much like teammates. It’s a kind of unspoken communication that they have at this point.

Tell Us About The Stellar Cast & How Do You Feel At This Point?

Black Widow: It’s been really exciting to get to work with some of the actors from different franchises that I have just admired. I guess you would say we are sort of an extended family. And then, of course, there are new characters that are also being introduced to the family. That part of it is wonderful because certainly what Marvel has really championed for, I think, is hiring actors who are unexpected, are dedicated and are fresh. They advocate for new, and that part of it is so exciting. Of course, it’s bittersweet for me because I look around and see the cast and crew that have really become very close friends of mine and like a movie family, and I know that perhaps this could be the last time that all of us are together in this kind of way. It’s a bittersweet feeling, but I’m really proud of the work that we’ve done. And I’m proud of what we’ve built. I really feel like I’ve taken this character as far as I can go within this context, and I’m proud of that.

Let’s Talk About Coming Face-To-Face With Thanos

Black Widow: The Avengers talk about him so much before they see him that we’re sort of fighting this faceless evil, so when they finally see him I think it’s just the likes of something that Natasha could not even possibly imagine. These are the highest stakes that the Avengers have ever faced, and with that, she is willing to give it everything she has.

Ten Years, That’s A Long Time, What Does It Mean To You?

Black Widow: It’s been an incredible opportunity for me to be able to continue to come back to a character that I love so much and be able to peel back the layers, so to speak, of a character that I think in many ways kind of reflects myself and reflects my own growth and my own challenges. I really feel it’s been an incredible gift as an actor to be able to have that experience.
